Australia needs better internet connection services. I'm getting poor speeds every night on @NBN_Australia @DodoAustralia The fact I cannot contact you during this time because you're closed at night is atrocious. I'm contacting the telecommunications ombudsman about this.

@troyhunt @NBN_Australia Note that by design the BBU will turn off at 50% charge to "save power". You then have to turn it back on (no option to turn off again) to use the remaining 50% charge. It was designed for emergency phone access. I just have ours plugged into a UPS.

Tests were done on multiple PC's including a fresh rebuild, different browsers and operating systems and as a kicker when using a VPN the issue disappears but turn off the VPN and use the TPG NBN link directly it fails to load or redirects in 10 min or so

Help needed from the tech nerds please! If I change my NBN provider due to a better deal, do I need a new modem? Are they "locked" similar to mobile phones? First NBN company included a modem as part of the deal. Can I use it if I change providers? TIA. 🙏
