  @BrowntownBrew @Batman2242 NBN Sats crowded out all private investment. Even it's rollout was ill considered, eg shutting down the interim satellite during the wet season 😳 Specifically what NBN requirements can't be met by starlink ? 🤔 Starlink has ~250k residential subs, 350k total. NBN 300k total.

  @Willygc13Will @JimThom90458694 really ? $45 a month for the first 3 months and then $75 a month and its twice the speed of the NBN plus its never been down since ive had it. Ive been paying $78 a month and it goes down for a few hrs just about every single day with the NBN

  @Starlink Hi, I received the Starlink kit today. I thought the installation would be easy, but I found it difficult. I have decided to keep my NBN service instead, so I would like to cancel my Starlink service and return the kit. Please let me know the return process. Thank you.

Write: “Installer jumped other jobs, took extra cash, destroyed my NBN infrastructure instead of installing Starlink properly and connecting devices. On top plan. Demand immediate fix, replacement hardware if needed, and investigation.” Not r e a l l y what I expected 2 bill periods in. One mobile phone connected. Arguing with grok about what’s possible and what isn’t.

  @showcallcrewing @NBN_Australia I ended up using iiNET because the offer a 4G backup, very important for work. And Optus did not help when NBN tech disconnected me, by mistake, as their record were not accurate, so they cut me. For it sorted in 3 days, but no apology from NBN for their error no follow up.

  If governments are serious about letting people work from home, they really need to ensure that the NBN is up to standard. Currently experiencing our 2nd major outage in 2 weeks. Not good enough @NBN_Australia #nswpol #auspol

  @Adam_and_EVs I switched to starlink. NBN in australia was crap it kept disconnecting. Couldnt Game. Starlink ( mini dish even ) has been great cost the same, better service and that in a major city.

  Here in Sydney, we're still waiting for the Nine Network's switch to a mostly MPEG4 multiplex which among other things, will bring with it 9LifeHD. No idea if they're waiting for NBN to move out before making that change or what, but I guess patience is a virtue in any case!
