NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • brxdyfeels brxdy (@brxdyfeels) reported

@the_transit_guy Australian Government choosing to deliver the NBN Network with "mixed technology" instead of Fibre. This decision ended up costing more and taking longer to implement than the original plan proposed before 2013.

  • OMGTheMess Old Soldier (@OMGTheMess) reported

As a communications industry professional I was mortified when the NBN was announced. Existing commercial fibre projects were all shut down, by law! High speed broadband was on our doorstep, at NO COST to the taxpayer. Rural development could remain a government deal with Telstra

  • The_Grucifixion End3rDog (@The_Grucifixion) reported

Wifi cable snapped in front yard, let’s go NBN such great service.

  • SC21012022 S C (@SC21012022) reported

@jckmac7 @NBN_Australia Nbn is just the wholesale network provider for retail service providers (RSPS) go with Launtel, much superior to Aussie BB

  • kaffando Completely over it. (@kaffando) reported

Local @NBN_Australia outage now coming up for 5 hours. Shame about the work I'm meant to be doing, eh? #NBN

  • BenMilanNow Ben Milan (@BenMilanNow) reported

@Eagles_AVS_ @NBN_Australia @AlboMP In Perth, our internet has been so slow, we are basically just paying for a wifi name.

  • Fastlane76 Paul Reece 🇦🇺. 🇺🇦 Слава Україні! (@Fastlane76) reported

@Telstra you might want to check about "power lines down".. the lines down are affecting 7 customers and are nowhere near your exchange - they are in the rural part of Wanneroo, well away. Your excuse doesn't explain northern suburbs NBN issues either.

  • FoodAndFishing Nigel Laubsch (@FoodAndFishing) reported

@RBAInfo How do we Australians get lumped with this crap institution (overpaid and accountable to absolutely no one)? They're even worse than the NBN, and that is a complete farce foisted on the Australian public! Who thinks the Reseve Bank idiots should be voted in for a defined term???

  • pwoiter Pwoiter (@pwoiter) reported

@TMFScottP In NZ, retail and wholesale arms were sold off separately and they now have speeds we can only dream of. Telstra invested years in fighting with the govt rather than building good and available infrastructure. NBN wouldn’t have been necessary if we had gone down the NZ path.

@ChristineMilne @barobertson111 Lets not forget Malcolm's hybrid NBN solution that is costing the nation billions to fix.
