Optus NBN sucks. The technician didn’t show up today and I’ve had no internet for 2 days. Last time this happened I had no internet for 2 months! @Optus 😡 not happy.

  • adlrope Adam Rope (reality is stranger than fiction) (@adlrope) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Qldaah @Telstra David, if have nbn connection then Telstra only service provider. nbn co own & maintain network. Telstra technical support can investigate but if underlying issue is network, nbn co responsible. If nbn co state 'no fault found', then service provider no power coerce nbn action

  • TheOlderGamer52 Robbie Shenton (@TheOlderGamer52) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@VicBStard @NBN_Australia Makes sense. If @Optus had of kept the maintence of the cable up to standard before selling to the NBN then it wouldn't have been an issue. That being said I don't get why the NBN didn't just fix the issues.

  • fictillius Quiet, Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MiddleMoney @NewtonMark @TurnbullMalcolm @NBN_Australia NBN could just fix all this butthurt by removing CVC charges and having a single flat AVC or maybe one additional cheap AVC for oldies that just want a landline. Then you get whatever the line can do

  • Two_Of_Us_x Ali 🌻 (@Two_Of_Us_x) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@kiwihestyles No, just my NBN and they won’t send a technician out to fix it. 😊😡

  • garth_morrison Garth Morrison (@garth_morrison) reported from Queanbeyan, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia Response from NBN - ‘Go to your service provider’ 🙄 They’ve been on it for months guys. You’re the hold up.

  • Misspent_yoof P@o (@Misspent_yoof) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Given the choice between trying to get customer service from NBN Co or taking the rough end of a pineapple, I won’t even ask for lube. It’s be less painful and have just as much impact on my ability to access the network. @NBN_Australia

  • fictillius Quiet, Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MiddleMoney @NewtonMark @TurnbullMalcolm @NBN_Australia It’s the business model that’s been the problem from the day Conroy came up with it. What’s telling is only half the premises ready for service have actually ordered one because it’s so damn expensive and now has a bad reputation.

  • carlonizeti Carlo Nizeti (@carlonizeti) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia I had a chat with @Telstra , they blamed NBN for all the issues and didn’t help much. Their view is NBN can’t perform as well as a 20 year old HFC network. I know it’s marketing BS, others have Telstra 80 mbit NBN in my area with no issues.

  • debrapittam Debra Pittam (@debrapittam) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Update on my #Telstra #NBN connection winge: they dropped us from 100/30 to 25/5 still keeping us on the same price plan. The only way to resolve it without an increae in plan cost was to raise a complaint. Check your speeds people. If we hadn’t we wouldn’t have known.
