  • OzGunner38 Aaron Baxter (@OzGunner38) reported

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia Paul later went on to say "We found out that during high demand our heap of **** network couldn't cope so we are going to do what Labor was going to do but we are going to make you fools pay extra for it"

  • stephengentle Stephen Gentle (@stephengentle) reported

@BLShiv @BernardKeane @TurnbullMalcolm NBN fiber was always GPON (under Labor). GPON is perfectly able to deliver extremely high quality service as long as split ratios are high enough. Low quality networks go up as high as 1:128 but NBN Co’s was a very reasonable 1:32 at maximum.

  • LibranTechie Kimurgor (@LibranTechie) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Australian National Broadband Network (NBN) is a study on how not to implement state infrastructure. Paper on it? Obviously.

  • azahynes News Corp are Clickbait Pimps. 🌏 (@azahynes) reported

@mjrowland68 @BreakfastNews Even if Apple released iPhone 20 tomorrow for $1, the LNP would upgrade their iPhone 4 to an iPhone 5... because 5 comes after 4.. Copper was more expensive, half arsed, requires constant cable replacement, is slow. How many MP's made money from a copper NBN? #ICAC #Corruption

  • joshgnosis Josh Taylor (@joshgnosis) reported

@MsLods @dawnstarau @rohan_p From my memory of reading through the NBN bits there wasn't anything in there I didn't already know (was never going to be a mea culpa)

  • rowan007 HRH Rowannicus Rex (@rowan007) reported

If Luddite moron Tony Abbott hadn’t ****** up the #NBN we’d ALREADY have a nationwide ultra-fast broadband backbone - a massive investment in Australia’s future. The LNP has FINALLY realised that this was the way to go and @MrKRudd was right. Better late than never? #auspol

  • sue_harrold Sue Harrold (@sue_harrold) reported

@MadFckingWitch @NBN_Australia I used to have it. Fixed wireless here (rural WA). I now use an old phone and hotspot to my laptop. Just as fast and half the price. NBN are terrible to deal with too BTW

  • peterhindmarsh Peter Hindmarsh (@peterhindmarsh) reported

will slow copper to the premise #nbn be made more expensive to force subscribers onto higher plan? #auspol

  • RodBamberry Rod Bamberry (@RodBamberry) reported

Federal Communications Minister Paul Fletcher, out today Lying about the the Morrison Government Massive Backflip over our Second-rate NBN System. It’s bad enough how Easily this Federal Government Lies, but Worse Still, they are So Arrogant, they expect voters to Believe It!

  • wattlecosmos Wattlecosmos (@wattlecosmos) reported

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia How do you manage to distinguish between what coming out one end of your body vs the other end? All looks like crap to me
