Psimocybin (@Psimocybin7) reported@C10885107738417 @QBCCIntegrity I didn't vote for ASX listed because I wouldn't want it to be like the NBN. Publicly funded private companies are the worst. If it was publicly owned and then sold in an IPO so the taxpayer gets their investment back then good.

Peter Patrick (@PeterPatri67891) reported@pikkkkaro The wifi will only improve if the internet connections are better. So the problem is the nbn network cable & fibre optics not the wifi.

Grinds My Gears (@alreadyfurious) reported@Someozbloke @deniseshrivell That's good in your circumstance. But it has been reported by others. I was more addressing why NBN is not a waste. The reason you still hear about it these days having issues is because of LNP screwing it up with a mixed technology approach. FTTP does not have these drawbacks.

feliz navidud (@DesignedToFade) reportedThe @NBN_Australia > Service Provider must be one of the worst customer experiences there is. NBN are the issue when there’s an outage, customers aren’t able to talk to NBN for info, and service providers give vague information to customers because they aren’t kept informed.

Julian (@captainjujubean) reported@Borindas_Lament @pikey14 Like the NDIS or the NBN or Snowy were "costed"? They seem to be the only party talking about actually reducing spending, fraud and waste. Like all parties they will over promise and under deliver but at least they are raising these things as actual issues

RealityPartyAustralia (@PartyReality) reported@JEChalmers What a goose you are @JEChalmers . Just like old @SwannyQLD who sent a broke in the GFC. We live the nightmare now of the NDIS, NBN, net zero and a parasite public service of red tape. We are broke & going off a cliff under this incompetent, corrupt treacherous Labor government.

Roofing and Stuff (@RoofingAust) reported@DrewPavlou Look past high speed rail Drew. The future is self driving cars. We should be making the roads better and safer. Throwing money at rail now is like throwing money at nbn for remote Australians 10 years ago. Waste of money when starlink fixed the problem.

miss_84 (@Miss__84) reportedAgaiinnnnnnn @Telstra again. A war widow with a serious heart condition without the use of her phone because of an nbn outage. But how does that affect the mobile phone useage Youre the absolute worst company. She feels cut off from the world. But hey she has the internet

KatyCatJess (@Katy_Cat_Jessie) reported@Optus told me i could have s refund on my nbn bill after i told them i was going to ACCC and then conveniently the chat got disconnected (my mobile service also with optus. cant wait to be finished on that contract!) then its off to literally any other provider

LC ✝️ (@leeves_chou) reportedProof of occupancy – this document request is another interesting thing. To ensure the application is from a real resident at the property, NBN sometimes needs proof, like a lease contract or water bills that match the applicant's name and address. However, this process can really delay provisioning. ISPs can check if the LOC ID is empty and see that no service is connected; they could just sign the customer up. If there is an existing service and the name on file doesn’t match, send a message to the new customer that provisioning is stuck for xxx reason. If the name on file matches, they can just hook them up. The process could be so much easier!
