    @GordyPls Checking ours - string in a ball, random plumbing o-rings, that one 9v to USB adapter that gets way to warm, coax cables, ADSL line filters that ‘might’ be bad (who knows, had NBN for years now)

    @lhjh70 different geolocations, demographics, psychographics treat currency in varying ways. In many rural regions some suppliers only use a cheque account as it is an empirical evidence item and they can access it on person without having to use NBN that does not work with stability

    @RuncibleH We have always had slow internet speed. Finally got the NBN engineer here to take a look two weeks ago. He dug around, found the cable, went to pick it up and it came away from whatever it is supposed to be attached to. We apparently received the NBN’s sticky tape version.

    @RuncibleH I don't know how he did it, but my son-in-law got our copper replaced while still waiting for NBN. He's annoyingly persistent when it comes to internet services. Wife thinks he made a formal complaint to his ISP about failure to meet service standards.

    @mpesce Fried NBN modems got so bad for my dad on the Central Coast, he physically unplugs it when he leaves the house. It's ridiculous :/

    @DocB__ @iiNet ditto, left iinet a few years back, and nbn for that matter. optus wireless broadband, cut out the middlemen and the dodgy copper wires in the ground. flawless

    @mpesce my nbn modem got fried a few weeks ago. It connected to the NBN Fine but it couldn't push that signal beyond the modem to the router Bit of back and forth with NBN because on their end it looked fine....

    @mpesce Pretty much. My understanding was that there was nothing that could do what NBN wanted it to do, so they got Netcomm to design the devices specifically for them. Ideally your provider should just be able to send you out a new one. This isn't an uncommon problem with them.

    @SaintEd61 Pretty much. Starlink is a solution and has all but made the NBN redundant.
