  @eevblog I have both, NBN service stability is far less than Starlink's, so it is my backup. I could probably push traffic through both, did that with Telstra and Optus cable modems back in the day, but Starlink is so fast I haven't needed to bother.

  @un1v3rs3135 @robb_j_m i'm on slightly more expensive starlink plan, rural village, get 240 mbps down and much faster uploads than fixed wireless nbn for just $9 a month more than i paid for the unstable NBN. has dropped out once for 7 mins in very heavy rain over the last 5 months.

  @whereisaaron @robb_j_m @NBN_Australia That doesn't work with infrastructure. This only works in a production line environment where the fixed costs are spread over a higher volume produced. Infrastructure increase as the demand goes up. More people more lines, more nodes more exchanges, more costs. Its not fixed.

  @Ben_Davison1 I paid for my own education and the government never sent me a fully trained employee. The rule of law…. Yes men are women in law. Roads, Rails, NBN (massive cost) gas water bla bla - we pay for that… it didn’t magically appear without our tax funds, we also pay continue to pay for this and budget blowouts.   Thank you to the NBN/Optus for restoring my internet connection at full speed. For the past 2 months it was working at woeful speeds. I was initially told it was a problem at my end 3 times but it seems the complaining from my end caused action for them to investigate and fix.

  @SimonBanksHB “Modelling shows” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Labor modelling also gave us $275 lower power bills, mining tax revenue, a surplus and NBN timelines that never arrived. Publish the assumptions, not just the headline. Young Australians deserve evidence, not spin.

  @news_australian None stuffed NBN. Many farmers still have very little service, look at how much snowy 2 has and is continuing to cost.
