  @Teh_Jkr @Optus @Optus I have 5 services with Optus and have been a customer for 12 years. My NBN internet has been really poor, yet I’m charged full price with no real offer. As soon as I get time from my busy life, I’ll be switching all my services.

  @Peter_Fitz I was a Young Lib at UWA. Tea & Fairy Bread with Mal Fraser @ Sir Charles house. Volunteered. I was sliding but NBN was the last straw. AUS needed a statesman we got Abbott. :( Volunteer for an independant now. Unlikely to support libs ever again. If they are around that is.

  @GamewithDave The only network connected devices I own are my Windows desktop PC, my HMD Pulse+ Android phone, my ISP-provided TP-Link router and my ISP-provided NBN FTTC NCD modem. I refuse to buy any of the "smart" crap.

  @BeauGiles Typically, no. For the cost of a backup device/SIM/NBN or even Starlink, it would pay for itself in an hour of an outage like this!

  @VoteLewko @2GB873 Starlink is great if you're mobile, but you never want to use it to replace the nbn residential connections. The speeds and latency you get from a fttn/fttp connection are leagues better.

  @Celicagirl6 @johncurtin @VodafoneAU Thank you 🙏 Hope you also got connectivity back. My nbn was working. I was thinking of cancelling it & sticking with VodaFail coz nbn is too expensive. Thank God i didnt cancel it. I would have been left with no way to even verify if the problem was with my phone or VodaFail

  @Ryandally08 @socratesccost Yesss … you get $5.00 a week back off what the government has already stolen off you. Billions in waste and fraud in the NetZero program. Billions frittered away at the NBN. Billions pissed up against the wall on Victoria’s ‘Big Build’. Billions lost in NDIS fraud. Billions wasted on the Inland Rail. Billions down the drain on Snowy 2.0. Billions siphoned off to unions on Sydney roads projects. But hey … five bucks a week. You gotta thank Albo for that. Vote Labor last … Australia 🇦🇺 first 🧡

  @DoodyDarren @CovfefeDnUnder Can NBN do this? No, and it never will. Of course wired networks, such as aarpnet are way better for some applications. The fallacy is that NBN is about technology, when it’s about a cross subsidy.

  @Poolwithaswan @viii_nix Labor has been terrible with digital freedom. There was Stephen Conroy and the great Australian firewall during the Rudd-Gillard-Rudd. We were looking at getting a great fibre to the home NBN, that would've been utterly crippled by the government mandated filtering.
