    Nbn Down for maintenance at Inverleigh. That means no Eftpos . No till. No ATM to be able to withdraw cash. Go cashless they say. What a load of ****.

    Okay plan from here is 4G dongle until my Starlink is delivered and installed. Didn't really want this option but kinda got no choice cause NBN is stupid how they run things.

    Im also not claiming it 100% never happened. Or that I was 100% wrong. As I’ve seen no real evidence to disprove this is false either. But if it wasn’t said directly in the BBN server I don’t wanna act like it is. Even if YouTubers and NBN devs supported it to be unintentionally.

    @WhosFibbing Serious outages occurred under the LNP, including failures that blocked Triple Zero, crippled mobile networks, and shut down parts of the NBN. Some were longer, larger, or more dangerous than the recent Telstra event. So please do carry on.

    @NBN_Australia Working hard! More like hardly working! It's been nearly 24hrs since it went down with no updates, no notice of what's actually wrong. NBN being government funded as well, is so ****!

    @GregNordo @AllBiteNoBark88 I just had another go with Optus. Literally no internet during peak hrs. Their NBN is unbelievably bad, even my business plan was dropping out 20 times a day. Aldi it is.....

    @AussieWirraway Lucky you, can't even get my mum onto FTTN because of terrible network management by NBN co. They transitioned the street, but didn't think to keep capacity on FTTN for residents in units who cant get anything else..

    @GreenTyler27 I cant remember even 1 gov project being completed on time and on budget. Completely the opposite, snowy 2 ..... How much has the NBN cost us! Jacinta spending spree! The list of failures never ends in Australia

    @TheLucidyn @Batman2242 Kind of proving the point. Gov can't perceive anything. Making large Capex decisions that are supposed to be generational. It was anti competitive from the outset. Private companies (TPG notable) were prohibited from building out their own network. Regardless, I can have starlink internet now for about the same monthly price as the NBN except i didn't have to front the Capex (and debt) for it. NBN very likely has a negative ROI. I wish we judged policies by outcomes not intentions.

    @ShaneOliverAMP A big part of the problem is that starting from the 2010's more of our spending now goes to megatech platforms that extract Australian revenue without the old local multiplier. When $100 went to Ford or Holden, a retailer or a local media company, a large portion recycled through local wages, suppliers, property, logistics and tax. Now when $100 goes to a global ad platform, streaming service or cloud provider much more can disappear offshore through IP, reseller fees and related party charges with far less local employment or supplier spend despite the use of infrastructure like NBN and roads. So government keeps importing demand and taxing workers harder to fund services while more private spending leaks offshore to low local footprint platforms. That extraction is not productive for our economy and is increasingly an issue, especially when profits are being offshored and Australian taxpayers are unfairly carrying the burden.
