    When that idiot Rudd committed to spending $Billions on the NBN I said it was a waste of $. If it made sense a private co would've done it. It may had made sense in the big cities but that's it. It's obsolete.

    @TTAlwaysWins Iโ€™m pretty sure our issue is water ingress in the pits. When it rains it stops working. The last time it stopped (3rd time in 6 weeks), by the time NBN came to fix it (4 days) it was working again, so they blamed us. But Dodo has line tests showing it wasnโ€™t working and I have photos showing the DSL link not connecting. The NBN is a white elephant. The government needs to sell it now and get whatever it can and move on. I ordered the Starlink dish the same day I booked the NBN repair. The dish came the same day as the NBN tech.

    @TTAlwaysWins NBN came and told me that it was my network, not the NBN. This is utter BS as the blue DSL light flashing has nothing to do with my network.

    @JDRedding new books network, they discuss a book about those topics. the nbn is an academic podcast sponsored by gambling and pharma industry that snickers and laughs at plebs and avocates for the violent overthrow of the government. its a great listen if you want to know how people think.

    @Bryan_APDS There he is, popping up again in his blue suit! Mr Copper Wire NBN $65billion. โ€œNo Bloody Networkโ€ he stopped a HFC roll out to install Prof. Alex Graham Bellโ€™s copper wire from 1876. Famous words to Mr Watson, the first phone call. Australia let it happen!

    We're paying progressively more taxes, and our services are decreasing. We just got a generic letter telling us our landline phone will be disconnected in 7 months. We used to have copper line which provided a highly reliable service in emergencies, whether power and internet was on, or not. I recall ringing a (surviving) neighbour in the middle of the Marysville 2009 Black Saturday fires. We had a chat while his smoke alarm was going off and the fire was raging outside. Phone through broadband was hopeless whenever the power or internet went down, which happens frequently. Mobiles are useless whenever the internet goes down, and not long after the power goes off. But those copper wire phones were fantastic. You could actually ring the electricity company when the power was off, and tell them that the power was off and could they fix it. I'm not joining the nbn.

    @Nirgal451 @cmkusher Letโ€™s check the record: Labor's NBN was full-fiber before the LNP sabotaged it into slow, costly copper. Inland Rail was botched by LNP scope creep, & NDIS white-anted by poor oversight. For economic reform stock with Labor. Vision didn't fail; execution was gutted by the LNP.
