Nbn Down for maintenance at Inverleigh. That means no Eftpos . No till. No ATM to be able to withdraw cash. Go cashless they say. What a load of ****.

@Telstra Both, ran two different tests. Both equally slow. One on each line. NBN box lights are flashing so that's any issue, but there's no information anywhere on your site or theirs

@NBN_Australia your outage status page is absolutely useless, always says no outage when there’s clearly an outage. There’s also no way to report that “hey I have an outage actually”

@JohnQuiggin OK, I spoke to the guy I tried to call on Monday. He uses a third party VOIP provider, i.e. he gets his internet from an NBN company, but the phone service from someone else. Somewhere along the chain, the area code doesn't get inserted.

Thanks to @telstra for confirming the internet outage that neither my provider #iprimus nor #nbn have yet to do - hours in. Not so happy that repair date is 1 November at 11pm but it is what it is.

@billbennettnz In Soviet Australia, our trains run at 30km/h and we know if gave the network to NBN, they'd be spending $100bn to give us Stephenson's Rocket, forcing most of us to buy Penny Farthings to get around.

@siandart Yeah, we had a momentary power outage… I was woken up our UPS screaming out (we have it to continue power to our NBN box & the WiFi Modem). We figured we can do without tv and main lights, as long as we have internet!
