Nbn Down for maintenance at Inverleigh. That means no Eftpos . No till. No ATM to be able to withdraw cash. Go cashless they say. What a load of ****.

@billygraveslfc @Optus Mate, you have no idea. I was without internet for 48 days a few years ago after a scheduled NBN service. I have 6 modems in boxes at home because all they wanted to do was send me one that "hopefully worked." It didn't take a genius to work out it was the street node failing.

@AccountBald @newscomauHQ Your neighbour should contact their council & have them move the meter below the ground level…same as water mains, electricity & NBN cables. My council did our whole street when only one of us requested it 2yrs ago. Now there’s no issue with accidentally running over anything.

@bruce_haigh I'm in the southern end Bruce. Always had this problem. After many complaints to NBN, a technician finally came to investigate. Found a Telstra pit full of mud in Anson st.

@Optus is there a nbn outage in mount clear Vic. This is the second time it has gone out in 3 days last was out for 12 hours despite you and @NBN_Australia saying there was no outage

@benjmay @MrMikeHalligan That’s my understanding, it’s still same story. Much of what you pay for a biz plan (I believe) is also in support rather than for a diff pipe at least within “standard nbn”

I live in a granny flat, and I've just successfully connected to the main house's network using ethernet over power (I've been on mobile internet - they're on wireless NBN) Download speed jumped 10x (and my mobile's not even shaped atm) I'm gonna STREAM ALL THE THINGS!!
