@the_tony It’s proper NBN and we pay for that speed as my 20yo is a gamer. Costs us a bomb, about $90 per month, but we are all streaming and he games most nights and touch wood, no major issues.

@RoadknightThe @Telstra Q. Why haven't you installed an NBN service via Aussie/iiNet etc, and just used the modem wifi for your mobile devices (~$65 per month for a reasonable service)? Seems like this is flogging a dead horse, and only you are suffering.

  • VK3TBN Pete (@VK3TBN) reported

@Mvfcarsenal @PRGuy17 The main reason was that Murdoch needed time to migrate from Foxtel and cable and Satellite slow speed, to high speed internet so harpooned the NBN, so Netflix and others wouldn’t be too far in front of Foxtel/Binge..

  • Dunnymeister Dunnymeister NEXT WAVE (@Dunnymeister) reported

Five utility outages in less than 30 days. Power is out today, NBN went down two days ago… power was out 2nd August, NBN went down 27 July, water went out 23rd July…

  • Arronkt Arron (@Arronkt) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@WhistleOut_AU I was so happy with my NBN service I signed up for Starlink as soon as it became available. I live 10minutes (by car) from the Perth cbd and the NBN was ordinary as well as the asdl service before that. Starlink works , NBN & the service before that had to rely on old copper.

  • tenbobargument Noblesse Oblige (@tenbobargument) reported

@RoadknightThe I had same problem with @TPG when they moved me to wireless. Although they tried to fix, my "case" went round & round from Dept to dept for 3 months before returning to original NBN. I permanently lost home phone # & 3 months dependable comms in process.

  • maryran92978455 Mervi R (@maryran92978455) reported

@davidkersten We in the bush, a mere 4 kms from the town centre, got the pathetic fixed wireless version of NBN, despite fibre optic cables, both Optus and Telstra, running past the properties. We refused to connect to the slow NBN and kept our copper ADSL. Townsfolk got fibre to premises.

  • UncleChopperRIP UNCLE CHOP CHOP - On Worimi Land (@UncleChopperRIP) reported

@Judith54Nunn Why do the LNP sabotage future industries, by stuffing the NBN & fighting against renewables? They stupidly held on to investments in industries of the past! They need RWNJs to help recoup their money. They don’t care about RWNJs or even their own decedents!!
