Is there some sort of Telstra NBN scam allowing you free local, and mobile calls where they get you to write down a number and some other stuff? It was on a private number. Voice was a touch dodgy too. Otherwise I owe "John" an apology.

@isaacmcintyre @Aussie_BB @TPG_Telecom Unfortunately from my understanding, in cases like this, it doesn't matter which ISP you're with. You either have a ****** area or ****** lines which falls directly on NBN, and completely out of the control of ISP's. I can't speak highly enough of AussieBB & their service.

@redruby17 Yes. Today, both NBN and mobile with either drop outs and reductions in speed. Last 2 weeks, sporadic NBN with both drop outs (loss of modem lights) and reductions in speed. Sick of being told to, "Turn modem off and on. See no problem, all fixed". It's sporadic 😑.

@smh @zoesam93 Even before Musk's StarLink: I have many colleagues in Sydney that cancelled their perfectly good NBN FTTH (Fibre to the Home) service and replaced it with mobile data modems in their homes. Lots of expensive tax payer funded fibre sitting in their front yard going to waste!

@OurNewHomecoach One. Livid ****** (is that two). Internet severed 9:10am yesterday during NBN upgrade. 145 minutes wasted getting @Telstra to understand that no matter how many times I turn the modem on & off, that will not fix a severed cable. But 👏to Tara from Townsville who understood.

@smh @zoesam93 It's a bit hard to claim Starlink is wrecking @NBN_Australia business, when they don't even provide a usable service and we're within 120km of Adelaide.

@carolduncan @NickRossTech The worst thing is he KNEW what he was saying was rubbish. Back at the beginning of 2007 Telstra notified my area they were replacing the decaying copper with fibre then didn’t because the NBN would do it. 10 minutes from the cbd and my street’s node is over 2 kms away

@weezmgk Yeah, NBN won't do anything direct to the customer, always had to be an RSP in the middle. Pretty sure they don't even replace the UPS devices for FTTP anymore.

@redruby17 We've been having trouble for months.... TPG have given up sending daily 'NBN' repair & emergency repair updates. Isn't the FTTN internet just grand? Especially when copper cable keeps getting flooded.
