@NBN_Australia Already lodged several requests with my service provider and everyone regardless of provider was down for almost two days. Of course now the power is out, so who knows if the internet is still working... :-(

@NBN_Australia My provider like others only guarantees UP TO SPEEDS not guaranteed minimum. For fibre I should be getting reliable service but providers equipment along the way is a problem I'm engineer with 30+ years in IT and networking I opted for 11mb/s service

@GreenJ @Telstra @NBN_Australia I have found TPG to be almost faultless and when I did have problems I spoke to a human located in Oz who managed to fix promptly. Friends with the same provider agree 100%.

@Telstra Just want to say thanks for stealing all my pre paid mobile data which was to be used for extreme weather events as needed. We have just had such an event and now our NBN is down and I no longer have my prepaid data to access the internet. No refund, no data, no contact

The lightning strike yesterday that took down my power and NBN temporarily also destroyed the HDMI port of one of my Foxtel iq boxes. Composite video (oh god how did we live with that in the past?) shows the box is working fine, just the HDMI out is dead.

@NBN_Australia Hahaha!! It has zero to do with my in-home installation but good on you for shirking responsibility, yet again. Your 'engineer' screwed up, as always, so now another one has to come out to 'fix' the issue. How much tax payer money does each of these appointments cost?

@RandaltsRandal 1. The NBN will never contact you, only your Retailer can (say if in your situation Telstra) 2. If you (or you son) reported a connection problem, your Retailer, if necessary, will contact the NBN themselves and then get back to you with the outcome (eg problem was a NBN issue).

@RandaltsRandal The NBN will never ring to you to tell you have a fault is the simple answer I drop f bombs and abuse them until they hang up

@Telstra It was great he could only speak on NBN faults, not on why the mobile wifi was so slow. NBN tomorrow, by then issue may have corrected itself. Still Archadian .14 , Huawei 5.97 , reason maybevhe said was that Wifi on Archadian limited even though on unlimited plan. Go figure.
