    @Willygc13Will @JimThom90458694 really ? $45 a month for the first 3 months and then $75 a month and its twice the speed of the NBN plus its never been down since ive had it. Ive been paying $78 a month and it goes down for a few hrs just about every single day with the NBN

    ******* perfect. Set up some remote spot instances to distribute some compute. Set up Claude to monitor and tear down when finished. Quick health probe to make sure everything is fine, about to log off for the night and NBN outage hits immediately. Could not be worse timing

Starlink is the same OR cheaper and gives better service! while our sat service costs a LOT for lousy speeds and is ****** if? it works at all Elon Musk cashes in on Australia’s NBN fail Bush families are being forced to pay the world’s richest man for basic phone coverage, as Australia’s bungled NBN rollout leaves dangerous black spots across the regions.     @Johnuh9d @AvidCommentator The NBN is expensive crap. The NDIS has turned into a complete rort. The GFC was an American housing crisis that had very little to to do with us. The pandemic was an over reaction. They've blown the lot. Money wasted with zero return on investment. Both parties are responsible for this mess and all I see for the future is higher unemployment and a low currency. It's going to be a double whammy. We are already in a per capita recession. The country needs some serious reform and it needs it right now..

    @roberts_pa97578 I’d never use @telstra - the experiences I had with them as a network consultant for clients were atrocious - their NBN implementations/installations/services were pathetic

    @STEVEFI14205588 when power and all communications services were out for 6 days after last flood my ISP disconnected my NBN service because i could not go online to pay my bill because the NBN and all mobile service was down. ironic that even when there is no service we still have to pay for it.

    @OMGTheMess Exactly. Not investing in Australia for 11 years now, since the NBN policy disaster basically, has never been so beneficial for my overseas company. The company made profit the moment I gave NBN Co and TPG/AAPT the flick. Never have seen consumers been ripped off collectively with the silent approval of a regulator.
