NBN Issues Reports Near Karraganbah, New South Wales
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Karraganbah and nearby locations:
-
Jacko (@dapoppagraham) reported from Central Coast, New South WalesThe problem isn't that Medicare needs multiple changes. It's that Medicare was a Labor initiative, inevitably! LNP, reactively once again, but once again, as with so many reactions ie. the NBN rollout, superannuation, etc. , determined to destroy what sticks in their craw!
-
Debra McGrath (@debra_mcgrath) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@QuentinDempster @MrPhillipJHall1 Our NBN goes down whenever there is a storm coming
-
Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@alexwantscoffee @NBN_Australia Exactly my thoughts. And no amount of help from the service provider is going to change the amount of users on the node, or as you say, magically turn the copper lines to fibre optic.
-
Abbee 👽 (@abbeeblu) reported from Central Coast, New South WalesI am LIVID I have been calling @TPG_Telecom for TWO MONTHS straight now trying to organise my nbn to be installed. The last 4 phone calls I’ve made I’ve just asked for a refund because they can’t provide me service. Putting my Karen pants on, this is ridiculous
-
Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@NBN_Australia It’s directly related to the ‘fibre to the node’ loading, that can’t be fixed. Nor can the crap quality of the telephone lines in this area be totally replaced easily.
-
Ashley Diterlizzi (@AshDiterlizzi) reported from Central Coast, New South WalesHonestly, the worst thing about working from home is dealing with NBN, or more accurately, NBN outages. 🙄
-
Bigots be gone (@mkentwell) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@RavnilRanjay @ScottMorrisonMP There is a projected possible potential surplus... And then only if all the unicorns fat at the same time. This is a surplus like the NBN was a solution #fraudband #fraudsurplus
-
Blake Hepworth (@Blakehepworth) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@TPG_Telecom internet just went down in kincumbrr nsw. No planned maintenance. Is this an nbn issue? Always seems to happen late night
-
Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@Cummins7Robert @SBSNews @ScottMorrisonMP The LNP is just being the attack dog controllers for Murdoch. Murdoch and his father were and still are hell bent on killing off the ABC and anyone not on their payroll. Look who is pulling the strings. The LNP did similar shit for FOXTEL by stuffing the NBN to make Netflix bad.
-
Liam O'Neill (@shootin4love) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@Vic_Rollison Gees, we probably still wouldn't have an ETS by now, a 2nd rate NBN and a system which favours the rich and blames the poor and unemployed for wearing those ugly old Vinnie's clothes. Wait a minute
-
Lloyd Rothwell (@LloydRothwell) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@TPG_Telecom NBN customer and quality of connection and number of dropouts has grown exponentially the past two weeks. Time without connection is now exceeding time connected.
-
Dean Hanilton (@Type217) reported from Central Coast, New South WalesAlmost 2 hours got get Telstra Big Pond wombles to reset the NBN password. And I know what I’m talking about ... good luck if youre not network savvy. No I don’t want to use your shitty router, I want to use my good one
-
Jason Drennan (@jasondrennan71) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@Telstra why is @NBN_Australia so slow tonight at 2.75kbs. Woeful. Two hours and still can’t download a movie that runs for same time.
-
hometown hero (@bigtruth2) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@Telstra another day goes by and still not resolved......June 26 and no NBN. Entirely Telstra problem when by mistake they put “restrictions “ on the account but it takes forever to lift them. BTW was in credit when restrictions where wrongly imposed
-
CarlOZTeves (@CarlOZ74) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@NBN_Australia We did log a call with our ISP and they in turn got informed that an NBN technician was going to come out today between 8-12 only for NBN to cancel it! I am trying to be patient and work but between 1pm and 2pm the connection has dropped out 9 times and it’s still going on!
-
Debra McGrath (@debra_mcgrath) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@heatherewart1 @SwannyQLD @abc730 YES the NBN is my weather gage, whenever it's going to rain the NBN goes down
-
Dr Matt (@Beer_Baron88) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@Scamwatch_gov @nswpolice I don't care if they scam me, just get my damn NBN hooked up
-
CarlOZTeves (@CarlOZ74) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@NBN_Australia are there any updates with the issues that are occurring on the Central Coast (2257)? I’ve been dropping out every 10 mins for at least 2mins. I’m meant to be working from home, but this is unacceptable!
-
hometown hero (@bigtruth2) reported from Central Coast, New South Wales@Telstra are just plain hopeless. Have been trying since May to fix a Telstra “error”....up to call 46 and each time assured it is fixed. Even have emails saying fixed but still NBN speed 0.002!!! World class!!
-
Ray 🐑 (@commiexcx) reported from Central Coast, New South WalesBig **** off to telstra for somehow making my first gen nbn (fibre to the house baby!) slow as all hell
NBN Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
John Cas (@moresunshine_1) reported@news_australian He was an idiot. And we are till paying for his stupidity in f-ing up the NBN.
-
Aussie Kaiser (@Ladwiththebrew) reported@Ben_Davison1 Education has gone to ****, roads no different, rail basically doesn't exist, NBN is a worthless attempt at 30 yr old tech, electricity and gas is expensive, refusal to build any water infirstructure. The law was subverted decades ago and civil society doesn't come from gov.
-
Optus Help (@optus_help) reported@timtheous Hey there, sorry to hear we've left you feeling this way after trying to upgrade your nbn technology type. I have passed on your feedback to the relevant teams to review for future improvements. I'd recommend reaching out to our Sales Team to further discuss your options. You can do so, via the Messaging service on the My Optus app or by calling them on 1800 508 000 (Mon - Fri: 9am - 7pm Sat - Sun: 9am - 5pm AEST). -Athan

GdayM8 (@BlackHillCraig) reportedYou're partly right - we don't have a free market. The market here is heavily distorted with gov intervention. Inflation is cause by increased money supply. That inflation affects everyone - including grocery stores, NBN providors, health funds. They must pass those costs down. Fuel is also subject to inflation in addition to the fuel crisis. This impacts input costs for many businesses, not all, to varying degrees. The only thing that causes market wide inflation is Gov.

Taya Nielsen: StuffTrump! ICE OUT! (@TayaNielsen2) reportedChifley established the PBS. Whitlam built Medibank. Keating started national superannuation. Hawke dumped tariffs to help Aussie farmers & their exports. Rudd built the NBN. Gillard built the NDIS. So, what exactly DID the LNP do in all those years??
-
Rob Janssen (@pe1chl) reported@eevblog @MichaelSmicqfw Really? I think that was only in the context of your NBN being down for a week... Starlink (or any satellite internet) really isn't useful in a city like Sydney, and when lots of people insist on using it there it will only get more and more expensive. It is for rural areas.
-
Adam Turner (@adamjaytee) reported@NBN_Australia hey, so no update on an unplanned outage in 5 hours is actually insane, just in case you were wondering. Northcote area.
-
Aussie Christian🇦🇺🕎✝️ (@MAustraliaGA06) reported@RennickGBR My issue with point 3 is that for the last 2 decades, there hasn’t been one federal project that was delivered on time and on budget, every single infrastructure built blew the budget completely. So it’s just more spending. Snowy hydro, NBN, inland rail, hunter frigate etc
-
JILL (@1Swinging_Voter) reportedWOW. Was that Mike Kaiser perched up next to that Murray Watt snot from #QLDPOL at #ESTIMATES today? WOW still got his snout in the corrupt Labor trough. Remember he was handed that NBN job by Stephen Conroy no application needed. WTF is he doing now on the public **** #CANBERRA
-
Matt Henderson (@MattxH) reported@BanderaBeau @BikoKonstantin1 @AlboMP It doesn’t work because each government is interested in keeping power that the next government wouldn’t implement the next step. Massive changes like this can only get over the line if the solution is obvious & unanimous. Even then one single government can **** things up eg NBN
