@2worldsPodcast This will be the biggest white elephant public policy since the NBN. Its pink bats on steroids x 10. God help us.

  • mintomusings Karen Smith (@mintomusings) reported

@NBN_Australia We’ve already put in two requests & #NBN keeps telling us the box is working. @tpg can’t help more as it’s not their product. It seems like classic bureaucratic buck-passing to me. Meanwhile I haven’t been able to watch TV for 3 weeks & I need to watch the news for work.

@RazorRam0n Information that has been shared to your service provider - A local power outage is affecting the nbn network, causing service loss. Once the power is restored, nbn will test alarms and perform health checks on the network to confirm stability. 1/2

@jacojac @NBN_Australia @Starlink I'd say NBN's non-customer service is appalling to say the least. WiFi down since 1 1/2 weeks, with being constantly lied to and no resolution in sight. Starlink is the only viable alternative.

  • NBN_Australia nbn® Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@RazorRam0n Please contact the local power provider for more information including the Estimated Time to Restore (ETR). nbn recommends customers perform a reset of their modem and in-home equipment once the power is restored to their area if further issues are experienced. 2/2

Why can’t you do anything right @telstra? I asked for a simple plan change - I’ve gone through “your nbn connection is broken” and now discovered you changed my home number. Your live chat is now telling me that numbers cannot be changed. Yet it’s changed!

  • MissIgraine Miss Igraine (@MissIgraine) reported

@CC68891975 Jeebus CC 🙄 What was the fix recently? Did they explain the cause? Is it an issue with the connectivity to your home? Do you know if you have full fibre to the premises? fibre to the node? Fibre to the curb or Hybrid Fibre coaxial? Are they using NBN? Other?

  • NBN_Australia nbn® Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@RazorRam0n The nbn infrastructure powering your connection may have lost power, which could be in another location. As mentioned, once any new updates have become available, you can reach out to your service provider who has access to ongoing updates relating to the outage.

@MehmetUlubasogl Hi Mehmet, sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your nbn service and haven't been able to receive any assistance regarding this. Please send us a DM with your full service address so we can investigate this further - Joel

@aussie_drunken @Sargon_of_Akkad Likely so, however it only occurred immediately after the announcement of these new laws being a possibility back at the start. Im with telstra mobile phone and my wireless nbn goes down with the optus towers, so I'm not sure how to avoid that other than VPN.
