@JoshuaWithers Hell yes. I generally find the NBN experience to be a good one, but it does vary. I'm one of the lucky ones with FTTC, and not many have it better. Cable/ADSL upload speeds were deliberately terrible, and obviously dialup was pure hell. Memories!

@NBN_Australia The nbn issue seems to have been fixed overnight last night. However, there have been some dropouts during the day today.

  • JamesTurnerYT James Turner (@JamesTurnerYT) reported

@2_dollars_20 About 10 mins here, gotta see if you can upgrade or get it fixed Our FTTN was really crap and would drop out a lot, we complained enough until NBN came out and spent ages tinkering and got it from 10 upload at best to 40 easily

@NBN_Australia @KerrieTregenza What about if you've had an NBN tech out, they have said the fault was with the NBN, but to give you 3 weeks to fix it. Is it in the "too hard" bin?

  • MisterPercaya MisterPercaya (@MisterPercaya) reported

@drajm A lot going on in the Northern Rivers apparently. Without NBN and phone of any kind had no way of contacting emergency services, friends, family or nearby (but cut off) elderly parents for nearly a week. All well for us, but very difficult and strange in 2022...

  • mpesce Mark Pesce #GetABooster 💉💉💉 (@mpesce) reported

It took 36 hours but the lightning strike seems to have fried my NBN modem as well. :( It locked up hard at the time, and apparently it took some time for the damage to become fully apparent. Makes sense - the telephone and antenna lines are both unshielded, and both failed.

@WatchNRL Would if I could, so full of drop outs I would miss most of the game; can take over two hours to watch a 40 min program.. been like this since the first day. Don’t like #nbn, no bloody network, most of the time I pray for dial up at least it was there all the time.

  • SydneyBlogger Sydney Blogger (@SydneyBlogger) reported

What’s happening @Optus ? No service ? NBN is slower than dial up and I calls keep dropping out?

  • Bec_Edo Jingyi Li (@Bec_Edo) reported

Whew after two whole months I finally recorded another NBN episode! Feels like things have been slow. Are there just not many books on Japanese studies coming out in Jan and Feb? Anyhow I’m ready to cover more new books. Hit me up if you have recently published a book!
