Second day back to work (from home) and my @NBN_Australia has gone down. Suspect it’s actually an @Ausgrid problem, given much of the suburb has lost power (we haven’t)
It's a bit sad when a jury-rigged long-range 4G antenna setup is more reliable than FTTN - dropped twice in 15 minutes for 3 mins, mid meeting. Cable is still hanging off at tree. (@NBN_Australia - the contact is appreciated, but I'd appreciate resolution even more)
Here's a **** story. I have the best internet connection of my life. Not amazing globally, but always good enough.120mps, and the stablest connection. And they're forcing me to switch to the NBN, which, there's a good chance, is worse. We make such dumb decisions here.
@robertaynsley Hi Robert, we received an update that nbn is experiencing an unplanned network outage impacting some HFC customers. NBN has begun activities to restore the network and will provide once available. -Daisy
@NBN_Australia Total outage in Brisbane, Adelaide street for 16 hours and no updates. @iiNet
stephen comes to fix the nbn tomorrow if he succeeds Ill lower the bar
@albericie @Optus Yeah, I really wouldn't go with Optus or Telstra if it's NBN. I'm with Aussie Broadband and they're great (Australian support too), and I've heard good things about Superloop and Launtel too.
