  @MichaelRuyg apology would be nice, no chance of a refund. despite larger ISP's being forced to refund people on fixed wireless who paid for service speed nbn could not deliver, my small one was not included in that settlement.

  @BrowntownBrew @Batman2242 NBN Sats crowded out all private investment. Even it's rollout was ill considered, eg shutting down the interim satellite during the wet season 😳 Specifically what NBN requirements can't be met by starlink ? 🤔 Starlink has ~250k residential subs, 350k total. NBN 300k total.

  @FarCueCunce Contractor for NBN Co. My olds were hooked up 10yrs ago and while they used the existing Telstra conduit to the house, the inside install was terrible - left a big hole in the wall behind the NTU, which let spiders into the house until I found it years later and patched it up.

Starlink is the same OR cheaper and gives better service! while our sat service costs a LOT for lousy speeds and is ****** if? it works at all Elon Musk cashes in on Australia’s NBN fail Bush families are being forced to pay the world’s richest man for basic phone coverage, as Australia’s bungled NBN rollout leaves dangerous black spots across the regions.   @TopherField Satellite has been about forever, the government never got in its way, I had it and it was ****. I used NBN relatively successfully over inferior satellite technologies until Starlink came along. Your opinions don’t appear to align with my experiences accurately.

  Ummm. I don’t mean to be “that guy” but, has anyone else noticed that the #EmergencyAlert test seems to have, ya know, crashed the internet in Australia? #NBN is down everywhere. Phone internet seems to be okay. This could get interesting.

  Our nbn internet/phone service isnt working. A @Optus techician was sent to my home to find out why we dont have nbn internet. He told me there is something wrong with the fibre optic internet cable. The cable brings the internet to our home.
