  • p_terg 🔥₽๎ᝤᶒя ᶢ ᶃเ𐤄𐤄ᦳ𐌏ᠡ💧 (@p_terg) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Kathblue @Telstra We had a grey box too. Our current internet is 100mbps through the Foxtel infrastructure. They’re using that same infrastructure to supply the nbn(tm) and I have just agreed to go with @telstra bc they could provide nbn(tm) with same service as current cable internet #winning

  • bookman2805 Andrew (@bookman2805) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It would be nice if you can fix your crap internet service before you start charging ridiculous fees

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@vogrady2132 @GeorgeBludger If you can get 100....I pay for 100 but get 43 @ best.......NBN totally stuffed up by LNP Government with help from Murdoch......watch the cost taxpayers will pay to fix & LNP will walk away scott free

  • stevenbradleyau Steven Bradley (@stevenbradleyau) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia the NBN is down in my street can you please fix it, it’s been down for 2 days. Out of the 6 days we have had it I would say it goes down 35% of the time.

  • atrueblueaussie Shout it👇🏿Out 👇🏿 (@atrueblueaussie) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@GDixon1977 @cscviews Yeo connect your computer to your personal bluetooth hotspot on your mobile and send them the Data bill . We never needed NBN. defunct already .

  • TheRobinsfromOz Leonard R. Gregory (@TheRobinsfromOz) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@trevorlong @EFTM That's the NBN problem ..... I'll be 100% wireless once the kids have left home. Cord cutting is the ultimate for me. On device VPN and I can then get it from anywhere in the world.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Triplejay58 Me2...I'm paying for 100 getting 43.....fttc bloody disgraceful LNP has broken our NBN

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

To clarify - @NBN_Australia should not care what is encapsulated inside the layer 2 frames that pass over their network. Even if they were a layer 3 construct (so interested in IP transit), the contents of the packets they'd be responsible for should not concern them.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia @iTnews_au Start by un-breaking the existing failed commercial model then, rather than doubling down on the mistakes.

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ajpalm NBN’s woes have mostly been the result of a bad business model from day one. That aspect has never been addressed by anyone either. That business model was never going to deliver the promised network

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@BDC8495 There is no issue. The CVC is an NBN restriction on speed even though there’s a gig interface in my garage

  • pfbt Marquis d'Killara (@pfbt) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

While gov’t bodies force more & more transactions online while offering no alternative, there will be many who will not be able to afford the NBN (some effing service .. not) @NBNAustralia

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@p4ndr_ @NewtonMark @wibbly @NBN_Australia The business model they created was never going to build the network that was promised.

  • TheRobinsfromOz Leonard R. Gregory (@TheRobinsfromOz) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@EFTM @trevorlong They are 0 and 1 thats it. Just charge those who want streaming at a particular speed more. Thats what every other business in life does. Supply and demand sets the price. NBN is a flawed business model - thats more the issue.

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@wibbly @NewtonMark @NBN_Australia Yep. Bursting costs the network nothing, just using existing capability when it isn’t being utilised.

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NewtonMark @wibbly @NBN_Australia It’s been broken from the day it was conceived and was never going to deliver the network it originally promised. Everyone is caught up on blaming each other over the connection type while ignoring the massive elephant in the room.

  • kezz78 Kerrie Barker (@kezz78) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So I got my @NBN_Australia service installed today. The technician came within the designated time frame, was really nice and installed the cable way quicker than I thought he would. And now I’m getting 44mbps which is exactly 10x faster than what I had on adsl 🎉 @TPG_Telecom

  • TomRagen Tom Ragen (@TomRagen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Telcos @Telstra & @Optus are looking under the lead of the @NBN_Australia to charge people more for the use of streaming videos services! #No! Absolutely not! We are already paying for internet service. If you add this new charges it’s a ***** money grab! #WTF

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BelindaJones68 🌺💧💉💉💉Bee🐝🐀5th Estate Citizen Journo (@BelindaJones68) reported

Presser on ABC @PaulFletcherMP announcing $750 million to upgrade rural & regional NBN w/ Birmo & McKenzie The Coalition Govt has ******-up NBN from day one, $750 million is just a pittance, needs a lot more than that to fix it Libs & Nats can't be trusted with NBN 🐝 #auspol

  • FutureNotPast FutureIsNotThePast (@FutureNotPast) reported

@9NewsAUS #lnp all promises no action even to fix previous #nbn wanton destruction.

  • AusMossy John Moss (Mossy) (@AusMossy) reported

So today the Federal Government finally realised that the NBN they gutted is ****. Promises to fix it are hard to believe, especially when they come just before the election. They really do have a low opinion of voters. #auspol

  • nicn67 Nic (@nicn67) reported

@9NewsAUS How about using the massive bonus paid to NBN execs to fund the delivery of a fit for purpose digital network instead of fleecing the tax payer more

  • peterc_150 💧🌳🇺🇦 Peter Campbell (@peterc_150) reported

@RDNS_TAI Its just another election stunt. They can't even provide good broadband Internet to much of Australia (NBN failure). Endless meaningless announcements never delivered #auspol #climate #LismoreFloods

  • JaseyHope Jason Hope (@JaseyHope) reported

@Birmo are you serious? Just watched you on ABC news talking about NBN. You inherited a plan to provide fast fibre to the premises internet. You delivered slow copper technology, a blow out in the cost of it and extra $$ to fix the fibre to the premises.

  • JJKALE2 Solo Monk (@JJKALE2) reported

Maybe, if the LNP hadn't stuffed up the NBN, they wouldn't now have to promise to fix it. #pemelb

  • KarenGensel Karen Gensel (@KarenGensel) reported

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia That money would buy a lot of Starlink dishes. Problem solved.

  • actuallyeeby Erica Briony (@actuallyeeby) reported

"Fixed wireless..." "...is viewed as superior to the NBN’s Sky Muster satellite offering..." yes in the same way that cow **** is viewed as superior to pig ****

  • mj98760 Mick (@mj98760) reported

@colinelvy11 @margo694 They were never interested in rolling out an all fibre NBN, as that would have enabled a proliferation of viable competitors to scumbag Murdoch's Foxtel.
