@alexbhturnbull The NBN is sad rubbish unless you got it as FTTP but the fast rail is a great idea and I'd love to see it go ahead. Rail travel fast or slow is my first choice. The Southern Aurora was the way I always travelled from Syd/Mel/Syd .Should never have stopped it.

@geoffrey_payne Yes, it isn't bad for business grade fibre. At home I have NBN FTTP, and the 50Mbps speed. Usually works well. Should be targeting 1Gbps for fibre, though!

@JamesPinnell I never plugged mine in, it only ever had telemarketers, and now I’m on NBN, I’d need to buy a compatible handset, just to get called by telemarketers.

What a stupid country we are! The LNP took Rudd’s future-focussed NBN and turned it into two tin cans joined with copper and string. Now a third world 19th century network with snail mail speed. And the voters accepted this rubbish because they didn’t like Shorten! Fools!!

@NBN_Australia It appears that there’s ”an outage” affecting ”an area” and I’m in the affected area. I’ll get an sms when it’s back in service. I hope it’s not too late because I want to send two laptops through Windows updates before hitting the road in the morning. Not practical over 4G.

@NBN_Australia If you don’t want us to experience these issue why buy billions of dollars of copper wiring instead of fibre which is cheaper to run and diagnose. Less problems with fibre then anything related to copper. I know this for a fact.

@phillipwmoore49 I'm a Bonnet Bay local. Never had worse internet since the switch to NBN. Always cutting out. When we called them, they told us anything up to half an hour outage is within service limits. I asked even if it is 4 or 5 times a day, they replied as long as it less than 30 mins.

@NBN_Australia I’m with @Internode an incredible provider… but having a full FTTN not even FTTC in SEA SALT TOWN is just stupid and who made that decision is delusional. It’s a money grab clearly because people would want to pay to upgrade. MONEY GRAB hence I do PTP have speeds useable!

@Telstra I can’t even get 5G home internet even though I’m located with line of sight view of the tower. It just says NO. I just can’t win. Never win. I just want a nice dedicated internet connection away from a destroyed NBN rusted copper. I need something not affected by rust/moisture!

@NBN_Australia Last house (a year ago) was a 3 month uphill fight with word address things with the subdivision, incorrect service class and lack of ports. Kinda feel like I’m jinxed at this point hahaha
