Hey, Aussie followers. What's the best wireless internet solution for 24/7 full time jobs internet. Building can't get the NBN and current solution is too slow and goes offline WAY too often (now on Day 3 with no net).

Serious question - does anyone else have @NBN_Australia dropouts every time it rains ? I don’t think I’m imagining it - it’s almost like my internet stability in my house is based on a barometer. Anyone else got this - or just me ? @TPG_Telecom

It has been 4 days since my NBN service is basically unusable. A subscription at 100mbps running at 0.6mbps. NBN keep saying it is under investigation and produce no positive outcome. I am not surprise all users will start to adopt faster and more reliable 5G. #NBN #TPG

@Telstra It's a new service being set up, so that everything is via telstra, because of the nbn, so when the second technician came out, they said it would be connected by Jan 5th. He assumed it would be to coincide with the next bill, but nothing

@Telstra we were told we had to switch to nbn before 30/01 so signed up. Guy came yesterday couldn’t finish it due to some issue. said Telstra would be out today to complete - no one has showed and no internet! My wife works from home and needs the internet urgently!! Any advice?

@Telstra How do you sort out your problem, when your NBN is not working. Your modem has diverted to mobile which as usual is extremely poor, so no service, but your mobile phone is diverting to wifi. How and who do you contact?

Skimming back through my weeks long forced SMS interaction with @Telstra to access the office @NBN_Australia service I’m paying for, I see: * 39 apologies/assurances. * 9 instances of blaming another Telstra department. * 0 commitments to fixing the problem. * no end in sight.

@NBN_Australia Thank you, I take note. But I am aware of scam methods and handle them. It’s the annoyance of the multiple calls, that’s the real problem. I have to let people know, if they don’t leave a message, they won’t get to me. I won’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know.

@DaveMilbo Our apartment tower has 2 independent providers that we can get up to 300mbs up & down. Late last year we all had fliers in our mailboxes advertising excitedly that NBN had come to our building! Needless to say the communal bin was full of those fliers...

@sbxr @VK2AAF @DoctorKarl I'll give you a freebie to sweeten the deal. You are right that the NBN CVC can be a constraint on speed. Removing that artificial toll booth would still have no effect on HFC or FttN as the constraints on their speed is primarily going to come down to distance.

@TruthdriverOn You mean budget repair like Robodebt. Giving the mates billions to prop up their profits. Buying a cut price NBN that still hasn't been finished and has had to be rebuilt because the dodgy brothers solution didn't work.

@DodoAustralia - any update on your outage? Communication is pretty poor keeping your customers informed. 4 hours in and 4x NBN and modem restarts and your service is still dead. NBN connection is solid, which means the extinct bird is still missing in action. Vic S/E metro.

@BanditNZ Between this and what @PappaChilbo has said. I'm looking at the "NBN Fixed Wireless", I assume the issues are similar. They would wire up Ethernet ports and what not but dodgy signal is something that I don't really want to fork out money for. Only benefit I'd get is the speeds

@danielbowen You could keep a @launtel NBN connection paused for instances like this. They charge daily, so you just unpause the service when you need it, and pause again when you don’t.
