    @stnapAtnaf @DifficultNerd It’s actually hilarious to see media reports of the NBN struggling. Remote learning/video/working, video streaming, etc, etc is exactly why a proper next-gen network should have been built.

    @DifficultNerd @stnapAtnaf Sadly not the case. NBN have confirmed with me that we will never get 50 Mbps due to the distance we are away from the first node. They also didn’t replace the aging copper on the main street and line faults is a regular thing to happen.

    What disgraceful service @Telstra. Been in new house for more than 2 weeks. Only 4 days of NBN working. Told they would be here on Saturday between 8am and 12pm. Waited all day and then called Telstra to be told NBN will be back on Wednesday. Disgraceful.

    @LambDownUnder @james00000001 If you trust private business in a non competitive situation you are essential stupid. If there’s a monopoly service it’s a ripoff in the hands of private business. You must know that. NBN is a national infrastructure requirement for a civil and successful nation.

    @Optus we were on the phone to OPTUS for THREE HOURS to some operator in India, we just wanted to move to a faster NBN plan, and they could not migrate our old account over. NIGHTMARE and Optus are outsourcing their support to useless people in India

    @Borindas_Lament @pikey14 Like the NDIS or the NBN or Snowy were "costed"? They seem to be the only party talking about actually reducing spending, fraud and waste. Like all parties they will over promise and under deliver but at least they are raising these things as actual issues

    @mrru5s3ll @LCHF_Matt @pikkkkaro yes I understand ,he seems to think I don't know there's a difference between wifi and NBN but my only contention is he seems to think we have great wifi but **** NBN and I think the inverse. somewhere this communication got lost lmao

    @EdsonKeenan Got it – selfies failing to verify your age/ID (and sounds like NBN connection isn't the issue). Try: bright even lighting, full face straight-on, no hat/glasses/filters, clean camera lens. Retry a few times. If it still rejects, X often offers gov ID upload (driver's licence/passport) as next step. What's the exact error message or your country? That'll narrow it.

    @Zadow_ @YaseiDoubutsu I could never handle wireless that stuff drives me crazy but YES this is exactly it haha I just got it from JB while on an Ethernet cable run to hopefully solve an NBN dropping out issue

    We pay like a $150 a month for the premium of Telstra mobile and it doesn’t even work immediately when out NBN drops. What are we even paying extra for? Fix your trash Telstra 😡😡 @Telstra
