NBN Issues Reports Near Mowbray Park, State of New South Wales

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Mowbray Park and nearby locations:

  • bookman2805 Andrew (@bookman2805) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It would be nice if you can fix your crap internet service before you start charging ridiculous fees

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

To clarify - @NBN_Australia should not care what is encapsulated inside the layer 2 frames that pass over their network. Even if they were a layer 3 construct (so interested in IP transit), the contents of the packets they'd be responsible for should not concern them.

  • TheRobinsfromOz Leonard R. Gregory (@TheRobinsfromOz) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@EFTM @trevorlong They are 0 and 1 thats it. Just charge those who want streaming at a particular speed more. Thats what every other business in life does. Supply and demand sets the price. NBN is a flawed business model - thats more the issue.

  • GamingFTWeekend Graeme (@GamingFTWeekend) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

My NBN is down. Send halp.

  • stevenbradleyau Steven Bradley (@stevenbradleyau) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia the NBN is down in my street can you please fix it, it’s been down for 2 days. Out of the 6 days we have had it I would say it goes down 35% of the time.

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@p4ndr_ @NewtonMark @wibbly @NBN_Australia The business model they created was never going to build the network that was promised.

  • jasta07 James Carlton (@jasta07) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@I_Am_Simplex @NBN_Australia Have the same problem. Short answer is, they're trying to shovel ten tons of shit into a one ton bag and the shovel has been sitting out in the rain since 1975.

  • TomRagen Tom Ragen (@TomRagen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Telcos @Telstra & @Optus are looking under the lead of the @NBN_Australia to charge people more for the use of streaming videos services! #No! Absolutely not! We are already paying for internet service. If you add this new charges it’s a ***** money grab! #WTF

  • kezz78 Kerrie Barker (@kezz78) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So I got my @NBN_Australia service installed today. The technician came within the designated time frame, was really nice and installed the cable way quicker than I thought he would. And now I’m getting 44mbps which is exactly 10x faster than what I had on adsl 🎉 @TPG_Telecom

  • JamesMaccajim James (@JamesMaccajim) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@RantRacing I live a few suburbs away had same problems it’s nbn messing with cables. I thought it was an old computer got a few new ones made no difference. Hard to even watch nsw replays last week.

  • anniepinkstorm AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@PaulFletcherMP With the FTTP NBN this was a non issue as NTU was the modem. They ordered in bulk identical units for everyone on FTTP.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@abc730 Yep & take anything up to 47 days, to connect to existing connection....and you have no option & not even an agreement with NBN, you have to deal with a provider......so the blame game continues. Cost to fix, billions & billions......thanks Abbott and MT with help from Murdoch 💩

  • TheRobinsfromOz Leonard R. Gregory (@TheRobinsfromOz) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@trevorlong @EFTM That's the NBN problem ..... I'll be 100% wireless once the kids have left home. Cord cutting is the ultimate for me. On device VPN and I can then get it from anywhere in the world.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @NickRossTech @NBN_Australia WATFJ.....can't even provide a basic service now want extra for basic........still waiting for my fix....paying Telstra/NBN for 100 getting @ best 23.........they are "investigating"........🤔😁🤣🤣🤣

  • pfbt Marquis d'Killara (@pfbt) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

While gov’t bodies force more & more transactions online while offering no alternative, there will be many who will not be able to afford the NBN (some effing service .. not) @NBNAustralia

  • GamingFTWeekend Graeme (@GamingFTWeekend) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So after my internet randomly went down last when @NBN_Australia start doing work in Randwick, the NBN have concluded whatever they did last night in Randwick and the internet should be working. Except it's not. This is not how one is supposed to 'break the internet'...

  • meggsie79 MEGAN SAMUEL (@meggsie79) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ernestjpnsw @NBN_Australia @TPG_Telecom Had the same issue with TPG. Switched to Vodafone NBN and much better quality of service

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@1n9r1d @davidlamond ......and weep. But now not happy with stuffing up our NBN, the LNP wont sell it, or reduce costs to providers, so we have crap speeds, high cost, & more LNP Government tinkering.....WATFJ👎🏽👎🏿👎🏻💩💩💩

  • anniepinkstorm AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@fuzzi_mcapples @YaThinkN First thing I did when I got NBN trial connection was get 2nd hand smart TV with streaming apps for Netflix US, Quikflix, iview, etc. Our digital TV service came much later than our FTTP #NBN.

  • atrueblueaussie Shout it👇🏿Out 👇🏿 (@atrueblueaussie) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@GDixon1977 @cscviews Yeo connect your computer to your personal bluetooth hotspot on your mobile and send them the Data bill . We never needed NBN. defunct already .

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BillFourlis Bill Fourlis (@BillFourlis) reported

My Optus nbn has been down all day 😫...anyone having the same issue. @NBN_Australia @Optus

  • marxdeane Ray Marx & Robyn Deane (@marxdeane) reported

"... is if the new Labor government moves to write down the value of the infrastructure. This would reduce how much the #NBN is worth on paper, allowing NBN Co to be much less aggressive with its proposed pricing models..."

  • AbbYoLyn Call me Abby 📷 (@AbbYoLyn) reported

@JelCastragigo My son's nbn has been down all day....so much for the "superior" LNP fast nbn.....sigh...our wifi dongle is faster.

  • NGruen1 Nicholas Gruen (@NGruen1) reported

I recently signed up to the NBN via @AussieBroadband I now find it takes up to a minute or more for the damn thing to get going when I’ve left the system alone for a few minutes Not disastrous but very annoying esp in meetings Anyone got similar problems Any solutions?

  • HTired89 HungryAndTired (@HTired89) reported

@oliyoung @VodafoneAU @NBN_Australia I was with Vodafone for not even 3 hours before I couldn't handle their customer service anymore. It's not worth it.

  • gav_mck Gavin McKenzie (@gav_mck) reported

@CommBank you advertise a great NBN deal with More Telecom yet when I apply you then tell me you take up to 3 days to activate a service, that is disgraceful customer service, it's NBN it should be instant or at most, 1 hour to activate...#nbn #moretelecom

  • staryoshi06 staryoshi06 🛡 (@staryoshi06) reported

maybe now that the labor party is in power we can get good ******* internet the nbn rollout was ****** up so bad that cellular is better

  • 7amahanti Anirban Mahanti (@7amahanti) reported

@roshan6 @NBN_Australia @stevenmarkryan Well, that’s great. Because the NBN I had was completely useless. Starlink has its issues around weather but the bandwidth supported is mind blowing!

  • stephengentle Stephen Gentle (@stephengentle) reported

@joshgnosis It’s such a mess. The Government is going to have to write down tens of billions of dollars of the loans/equity invested into NBN Co - no other way. Otherwise they’ll have to push their prices up to the point that most people will look for alternatives…

  • M_Sighil Mirka (@M_Sighil) reported

@marquelawyers Dutton was my first choice as Libs leader when Turnbull was asked to leave (due to the massacre of NBN, increased costs & mess of other things). It would help to have a variety of ways to connect but optic fibre NBN FTTP ought to be standard as there's a net 'need for speed'.
