@peterp79 @Aussie_BB @Telstra @NBN_Australia Also, 25 is minimum - so you should be getting 22 ish... plug a laptop INTO the modem and do a speed test. WIFI is probably what’s slowing you down too

My @NBN_Australia HFC service is down. Fault logged with my RSP (@Aussie_BB). I wonder if nbn will book "planned maintenance" again to fix the fault - it conveniently stops the "unplanned outage" timer when they do that...

The issue being that recent firmware versions are (supposedly) FTTC NBN compatible, but the original version isn't. So I had to download the firmware update to phone via 4G, & am now transfering it to laptop over Bluetooth so can then upload to the router via WiFi...

@joshh_dp @daddy_no_ It also done within minutes if you already have NBN - whether it’s node, curb, hfc or fibre - a decent ISP (like AussieBB) can have your service activated within the hour. Fibre just means you can have more than one service at once

Typical. @NBN_Australia connection down since 4:34pm. Now we have a "Scheduled Outage" from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Conveniently, this stops any "unscheduled outage " timers they might be measured against...

@trevorlong To be fair, they had to offer 40% additional CVC bandwidth, and streaming providers have cut the visual quality of their product to help the NBN cope. Whilst a lot of the problems with the NBN are not actually @NBN_Australia's fault, they do get a lot wrong.

wish i had the money for starlink right now, i can’t bother with the incompetence of the NBN, 0.97mbps upload and random disconnects is not acceptable, the technicians for the NBN are completely unaware of the problems of the copper wire network.

i’ve had the NBN technician come to my house twice, both times the technician has said it was the router/modem’s fault, i get a replacement modem/router and i still experience the same problems. I don’t know if NBN co is just entirely incompetent or if i just got really unlucky.

Day 4 no internet! Thanks NBN!! Did I mention the NBN guy came and “fixed” my issues and now they won’t return because they have “reclassified the fault” 27 days to go till they must respond. My neighbour Who is with Telstra had his NBN fixed within two days! Aargh. #NBN

@TroyBramston @LalitaMathias Conroy who was so desperate to get NBN numbers up he did a deal with Telstra so they’d drop their PSTN phones and force all their customers over to NBN phones. He got his numbers up, for phones not internet, and old people ended up with a phone that didn’t work in a blackout.

I live less than 5km's from the Sydney CBD and my internet drops out for minutes at a time multiple times every single day and night. The NBN service I receive is total crap. It is seriously ruining my War Thunder experience. Thanks a bunch Tony Abbott and Malcolm #qanda #auspol
