    @DifficultNerd @stnapAtnaf Sadly not the case. NBN have confirmed with me that we will never get 50 Mbps due to the distance we are away from the first node. They also didn’t replace the aging copper on the main street and line faults is a regular thing to happen.

    @stnapAtnaf @DifficultNerd It’s actually hilarious to see media reports of the NBN struggling. Remote learning/video/working, video streaming, etc, etc is exactly why a proper next-gen network should have been built.

Optus was going to send out a tech (and probably charge afterwards) to investigate the issue as I assumed my nbn was the issue. Ours Works with our modem on 4g back up but Same as you when my nbn is connected into the tv

    @OTriple8 @Bowragak @elonmusk I'm in south Gippsland waiting for starlink 38 south hopping it will come. NBN fixed wireless is garbage including I'm on a relay tower so its even worse

    can yall get your 5g vaccines so I can finally get decent 4gx signal where I live, we're rural so 5g is useless to us, and ffs theres too many "I cant use nbn" people on mobile data >:|

    @Mr_Tushi_Gaming I live in Australia. The government implemented a national broadband network (NBN) in 2013 that initially had fibre to the premise (FTTP) for blazing fast internet. Instead we ended up with a fibre to the node NBN which struggles to sustain 10 to 15 Mbps.

    @MyRepublicAU @dogsat45 Is there an issue with internet in Wollongong? Can't get on. No way to contact anyone because your chat is shut. Nbn co has no listed problem. Can you please update people properly?

    @dfinvitro Was doing my head in. Wasted so much time the last 2 days changing cables, talking to Optus thinking it was a nbn issue. Cheers anyway. Saved me a possible charge for wasting a nbn techs time
