    @stnapAtnaf @DifficultNerd It’s actually hilarious to see media reports of the NBN struggling. Remote learning/video/working, video streaming, etc, etc is exactly why a proper next-gen network should have been built.

    What disgraceful service @Telstra. Been in new house for more than 2 weeks. Only 4 days of NBN working. Told they would be here on Saturday between 8am and 12pm. Waited all day and then called Telstra to be told NBN will be back on Wednesday. Disgraceful.

    @DifficultNerd @stnapAtnaf Sadly not the case. NBN have confirmed with me that we will never get 50 Mbps due to the distance we are away from the first node. They also didn’t replace the aging copper on the main street and line faults is a regular thing to happen.

    @xShephardx Being a nerd here in Aus is like top 10 most emotionally excruciating experiences since my internet used to be 3 mb/s, which is actually a lie since my ISP throttled it down to 950kb/s. Thank **** for NBN since it's now like 62mb/s but gigabit internet would have me heavenbound.

    @robb_j_m Outside the urban centres, $139 a month for Starlink. NBN for me was a slow and expensive skymuster satellite. Thanks Elon.

    @venteaVT My house has starlink, runs at about 160 mbps at best and it’s like 3x faster than the nbn at my parents house, Australian wifi is so bad

    @SimonBanksHB “Modelling shows” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Labor modelling also gave us $275 lower power bills, mining tax revenue, a surplus and NBN timelines that never arrived. Publish the assumptions, not just the headline. Young Australians deserve evidence, not spin.

    @SkullSpeedDeal I called Optus support the other day. The Indian guy on the phone literally couldn’t speak coherent English, misunderstood 5G and NBN, and sounded like he was calling from a scam centre which he probably was. Got escalated to an Aussie girl, problem was immediately solved.

    @Sauronlordking If there is one thing I didn't mind from the ALP that would be the NBN in its original form. Then this idiot came around and mutilated it into his own little mixed up mess. That now has to be unraveled at even more expense!!!
