@NatoPotatoTV So sorry to hear Nato, I know how soul crushing that can be dealing with tragic internet myself early on. It might be too little too late but what really got the ball rolling for when @BriiJayx's internet was terrible was contacting her local MP. She had NBN shortly after!

@SkyNewsAust FOR 8 YEARS the LNP have done nothing. Now their PR man Chris says "looks it's not working!!!" Just like their 💩 NBN It's because of their policies not the technology - There is an easy way to Fix this mess VOTE SCOTT MORRISON OUT

Again it's at least the entire street dropping offline at once and the NBN Outages site doesn't have it listed as "there may be a problem"

@BrowntownBrew @abcnews Thanks for the reply. I don't have NBN - I use phone data instead, and plan to get home 5g when it comes to my area. I can't say I've noticed a difference in bad weather, but the article made me curious.

The NBN doesn't work without power while ADSL did if you had a generator or an old rotary phone you could still use the internet or make calls. Now if the power goes out for days like it is in parts of Victoria (we are on day 3 of no power and cell networks where out for 2 days.)

@TammyWolffs @abcnews Usually the impact to 4g or 5g is congestion from people not being able to use #nbn and using their phones instead. There may be some degraded signal strength in heavy weather

@Telstra I need assistance with my fathers NBN service, still having ongoing issues with the service which has been happening for MONTHS now, had a new modem ect snd still the same issues, I’m authorised on the account.
