@xssfox Oh dear $DEITY this is bringing back memories of the woeful TPGNode NBN HFC connection that I had back in 2016. Sure technically mg ISP was Internode, but I got dumped on to TPG’s access network because HFC, and lost IPv6 Ended up fixing it by moving to a place with FTTP…

@DashHowler So far so good. I have around 0.17% obstructions. (roof install coming) Electrical storms are a problem, but Ill just switch to phone. My nbn was around 30mpbs. Looking 140 plus. Its not cheap I've heard around 2% obstructions you will have trouble. So depends on your property.

  • TNorm22 Trevor Norman (@TNorm22) reported

My internet has been severed. @Aussie_BB tells me that @NBN_Australia is the culprit and I need to talk to them. NBNCo says that my issue is "in progress - pending action by your service provider.” With each of you saying talk to the other, let’s talk. #nbn

@IanDunt @DrHarryLime Ever since I got NBN, 50% of the time it is un watchable anyway that whirly gig in the middle of the screen is there more often than movie. Lol the Laugh is Telstra sent me a message telling me I cant get the speed I paid for. That week it slowed down even more!

  • JosieHa16087138 Josie Hall (@JosieHa16087138) reported

@Telstra I’m on NBN and online thanks. I was surprised during the outage my modem didn’t revert to the 4g backup. But closer investigation it appears I do not have that this facility. Do I need to update my modem?

  • bjd Brendan Daly (@bjd) reported

@rollo75 It’s Fibre to the Basement. The problem was nbn thought there was an existing landline so that had to be dealt with first ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But now that’s resolved I just plug in their modem and they activate it all remotely - which is exactly how I expected it to go in the first place.

  • akhempet Tanya (@akhempet) reported

@isaacjroberts I use TPG - me doing research and kidults streaming movies and games at the same time - no issue whatsoever. I need to stress I have NBN.

  • JoeMonday42 Joe Monday (@JoeMonday42) reported

@TheFogOfEnmity @AlboMP @AustralianLabor Because we were forced on to it… I lost my cable connection that I had for 20 years and worked perfectly… & my streaming service is now delivered by satellite… as I said… NBN is a white elephant…

  • niall_bigscreen Niall Ginsbourg (@niall_bigscreen) reported

@NBN_Australia Not sure what you are missing here. The problem was on NBN side, not fault on ISP side (which our ISP would have published). For these NBN side faults, customers rely 100% on NBN to update the outage/fault status page so they *don't have to waste time ringing their ISPs*.

  • raquelpalas Raquel Palas (@raquelpalas) reported

@Optus 4. 5G service not working at home (although we checked that before) 5. They tell me to change to NBN 6. I change to NBN and they schedule an appointment with a technician 7. I receive reminders of that appointment (today 13:00-17:00) 8. Nobody shows up ...
