Finally solved a problem with my server that's been bugging me for years. Any time the NBN goes down, Windows would give up trying to reconnect and set the network adapter to an "unidentified network" and leave it at that. The only way to fix it is to disable/enable the adapter.

@Telstra @NBN_Australia our internet connections are all still down in the inner west of #Sydney, and have been for over 24 hours! Just 5kms from the CBD! What is going on? We’re paying for internet and not getting it. #ACCC

"NBN" wouldn't be calling me using a boiler-room outbound call distributor to tell me they're upgrading my connection to fibre-optic because it's "been slow", would they? (Hung up as I smell a scam)

So that’s 22hours of NBN outage so far. And still no update or fix from @NBN_Australia how does this happen in a densely populated area in Sydney?

@NBN_Australia Oh they kept me updated. Your updates were the poor ones. Outage notification at 3:20pm and “we are working on it” then nothing till it magically started working at 8:30pm. No communication is poor in a technical era

@NBN_Australia Can’t cause since moving the service has been incredibly inconsistent with more downtime in one month than that of 2022. No matter what Aussie broadband try, you keep letting them down.
