@m_mann1 It's not me Merilee, it's a local cafe. NBN is with Aussia Broadband & old landline service is with Telstra. The two are incompatible, or there's a refusal to co-operate or share or something.

@btckr Thanks, got it. I've heard of others with that problem. I didn't have choice, NBN or nothing. After a few glitches, NBN has been fine for past 2 years, Telstra has been good. Internet just a little bit faster the old ADSL+.

CommsDay is reporting NBNCo is halting activations on their HFC network from 7pm tomorrow because they’ve run out of modem chips… Let me get this straight: the Coalition have spent $57,000,000,000 and we don’t even have enough working modems? @Commsday #nbn #auspol

I like to think I'm a patient person while on the phone with tech help but my internet provider telling me to 'check the garage for the NTB box' (for my NBN) when both the garage and NTB box are non-existent was a true test of patience.

Hey @NBN_Australia fix your system issues and stop rejecting orders so I can have the internet at my new house! People are trying to work from home you know.

@simonahac That’s how I understand it. The ABC framed it as a means to support a fair and free media with money flowing to the #ABC #mediawatch & SBS. What a 🐊 My understanding is that no payment is required for ABC links. Murdoch’s fingerprints are all over this. Just like the NBN. #MSM

@NBN_Australia They will definitely need to be extended and customers need assurance ASAP that legacy services will not be disconnected. I have an example already of a customer due for copper switch off in February but HFC install date of 25/03.

@mfoale73 @scomosas @MrKRudd So what about Rudd's FTTP NBN vs the NBN MTM of the LNP IPA dolts? Who promised done by 2016 for just $29.5 billion, fmd mate it's 202q still not completed and almost $30 billion over budget for a network that doesn't even rank top 10 but 68th. The LNP IPA dolts are handbrakes

@guseyk Sorry but we no longer offer ADSL service and your address is NBN eligible; hence, it will not be possible to get ADSL plan. -Geli
