NBN Issues Reports Near Pettavel, State of Victoria

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Pettavel and nearby locations:

  • cjnetlink Cory (@cjnetlink) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

  • cory_actually CORY (@cory_actually) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Vintuitive Must just be that the NBN is shit 😉🤣

  • maxblake44 Max Blake (@maxblake44) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@iiNet hey guys just wondering if there is an wife spread outage in the 3216 area (NBN) haven’t got any internet this morning and last night it was on/off

  • 75b0ce8567df4cd Dave Wood (@75b0ce8567df4cd) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

@iiNet hey guys just wondering if there is an wide spread outage in the 3216 area (NBN) haven’t got any internet this morning and last night it was on/off

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

  • KathyReid Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

  • abc_junkee Hoogle Gater (@abc_junkee) reported

@NBN_Australia "dont worry, your existing service won't be interrupted when you convert to FTTP." Complete BS, within a week of the internal fibre works, my productivity reduced to nil on my copper connection. Thanks #NBN. And you've gone and deferred my connection to boot.

  • the_LoungeFly Robert (@the_LoungeFly) reported

@MCMLXXIII_AU @shallowchal NBN copper has limitations on the wire quality, promise 12, actually get 8MBps. It’s also capped speed for units who share the same node because of line splitting. I’m on 5G and get bandwidth up to 500mbps/80+ up, some suburbs with 5G can get 1GBps down/100 up.

  • WilsonLaw Wilson Law (@WilsonLaw) reported

What is going on in Western Australia? If you are on NBN is your home service affected?

  • The_R_a_v_e_n_ The Raven (@The_R_a_v_e_n_) reported

@NBN_Australia is an absolute extortion racket. A protectionist thieving public organisation with a captive audience delivering 3rd world “service” with no option but to pay their fees. No wonder everyone is going to Starlink & even they are in on the gouge… #nbn #starlink

  • IanBatchelor11 Ian Batchelor (@IanBatchelor11) reported

@ChaneyforCurtin That may be so, but the data is being transmitted via the NBN. Should we ban the carriers? Should we ban cameras and the computer devices that they "could" be used for nefarious purposes? Blaming Big Tech for every crime is not working. Grok is just a machine - GIGO.

  • SunilRaiAU Sunil Rai (@SunilRaiAU) reported

@Optus Appalling service from my ISP today. 6 confirmation calls for an NBN upgrade, tech booked 8–12,no show, then a last-minute SMS cancelling due to “staff shortage”. My wife stayed awake after a night shift. Serious failure in planning, respect and professionalism.

  • debbishdotcom Deborah (@debbishdotcom) reported

I'm having trouble with my internet and the router keeps powering off. It's a little discoloured (from overheating) and quite old so I figure I need a replacement. I gather your internet provider no longer replaces them. Am looking at an Eero 7 for $297. Good choice? Y/N? #nbn

  • XRespawn1 RespawnX (@XRespawn1) reported

@OMGTheMess Pre-PM: Promised infra/transparency as MP/minister. Failed: NBN mess, undeclared $3M grants, fled Marrickville office. As PM: Vowed cheaper power ($275 cut), housing relief, Voice win, strong integrity/unity. Failed: Bills up, migration/housing crisis, Voice flop, weak commission, division spikes, broken promises galore. Each way Albo: All talk, no delivery! 🔥🇦🇺

  • Nasia_Killjoyy Nasia Iero (@Nasia_Killjoyy) reported

@iluminatibot Nope I believe none of those. It’s like here in Australia a lot of newer areas can’t get any internet at home other than NBN which was planned by the government. Phone reception sucks though

  • Gmeister67 GregM (@Gmeister67) reported

@MarkWRowley He also said he would fix the NBN, its worse than ever. Most tech $ are going to Skylink in the bush. He fixed FA.
