@iiNet hey guys just wondering if there is an wife spread outage in the 3216 area (NBN) haven’t got any internet this morning and last night it was on/off

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

  • cory_actually CORY (@cory_actually) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Vintuitive Must just be that the NBN is shit 😉🤣

  • cjnetlink Cory (@cjnetlink) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

  • maxblake44 Max Blake (@maxblake44) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@iiNet hey guys just wondering if there is an wide spread outage in the 3216 area (NBN) haven’t got any internet this morning and last night it was on/off

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

  • KathyReid Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

@Zwickyhumason1 ZERO questions about availability, cost and functionality of NBN etc...the most important questions left right out in favour of policing welfare type crap...

  • thedrewblack73 Drew Black (@thedrewblack73) reported

@mravantcentre We have nbn here, a national fibre network and it was obsolete before it was rolled out. Max speed I think I can get here is 100 mb/s. We really lag behind the rest of the world.

  • georgerobbwill 💧🐀 George Williams on Guringai Land (@georgerobbwill) reported

If you can't find a reason to distrust the LNP, think NBN. If we had FTTP, just think how much better off we would be. Decentralisation, education, medicine, communication, entertainment options. A godsend, esp. right now! Instead, we have the Abbott/Turnbull C20th ****-show.

  • JPMasters JPMasters (He/Him) (@JPMasters) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@JohnRHewson I live in North Ryde we have poor mobile phone coverage (all telcos) but if I have had a videoconference I had to use mobile connection and my uni kids did same for exams etc. @foxtel NBN hopeless. Trying a new retailer to see if improves.

  • miguelaustro Miguel Oyarzo (@miguelaustro) reported

@TPG_Alerts nbn not working at 3108, VIC. What's going on

  • strongcap Dominic Galvin (@strongcap) reported

@JohnRHewson Turnbull and Abbott made sure we wouldn’t have ubiquitous FTTP NBN and instead linking to decades old copper wire. It reduced the capacity for super high speeds. They argued we would never need those speeds. So short-sighted

  • bkbaguley kbaguley (@bkbaguley) reported

@BelindaJones68 Sabotage of the NBN should have been enough to convince Australians to NEVER trust the LNP.

  • GeoffDay4 Geoff Day (@GeoffDay4) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

@mheywood88 @JohnRHewson I had that problem in my old address. One of the pits was at the bottom of a hill, so it filled with rain water. Each time, a tech would advise that the pit was OK (when it wasn't raining) It only got fixed when NBN crew broke the pit requiring it to be rebuilt ....

  • RahniaCollins Rahnia Collins (@RahniaCollins) reported

Never mind - just the NBN! Every time they do maintenance, it's stuffed for a week.

  • auztralien Nina Woodcock (@auztralien) reported

How to home school kids when the internet drops out every 5 mins so they can’t upload their work? Our whole suburb out - the problem is with the NBN who can’t seem to fix the problem- Optus and Telstra are coping the blame
