  Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

  @Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

  @NBN_Australia recently moved to NBN after years of reliable cable service from Telstra. I am astounded how unreliable NBN is. Service has been dropping out since 26/12 and now 0.05 Mbps for the last 3 days. Called Telstra and they blame NBN. But no outage reported on NBN site.

  @peterwells @Forthleft3 Could be. Trouble is thst in rural NSW you can wait for hours (seemingly) for the NBN. Coffee's cold by then. Anyone else got connectivity issues?

  @the_tezt @NBN_Australia Turns out the entire pole was demolished by a stay motorists, taking out power in the area for a few weeks. The power company installed a new pole to restore power, but the comms cable fix seems to have just been cobbled together.

  Having problems with the relocation of my NBN with @TPG_Telecom - when I try and ask questions about the NBN installation or my service, the call centre staff become quite rude. It’s like they are reluctant to answer my questions. Would be nice to speak to someone who can help.

  @DerekRobinson2 @RonniSalt @1whtb We would never have survived Covid as a country if it wasn't for Labor having the foresight to build an NBN, despite its faults. We as a family certainly wouldn't have been able to work and study from home

  @NBN_Australia We cancelled the technician cuz it was fine. But then the next day it went slow again.
