Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

I expected nbn to auto complete 161-169 Princes Hwy with either Lucknow or Bairnsdale and to say whether nbn is available. Because telcos need to know customer addresses. I didn't expect nbn to say whether an address has already been connected.

Hi @Telstra have tried twice to speak with someone for NBN support, both times I have gone through automated menu, only for call to ring out with a message that the person I'm trying to reach has a full mailbox and then disconnecting me. Have had no chat response either...

If telehealth is going to be the new way to see health professionals then Telstra, NBN CO etc need to improve phone and internet services. Many people can not access decent service.

@NBN_Australia I'm still yet to hear anything on this, either here or privately in response to my complaint. This is why monopolies are generally illegal, of course, so it's time that Australia knew how to exercise their consumer rights against you.

@billygraveslfc @Optus Mate, you have no idea. I was without internet for 48 days a few years ago after a scheduled NBN service. I have 6 modems in boxes at home because all they wanted to do was send me one that "hopefully worked." It didn't take a genius to work out it was the street node failing.

@Malk_AU @NBN_Australia 1/2 Also just as an aside, the NBN status lights give a good idea is the issue is before or after the router. 1st light being power, 2ndbeing if reverse power is supplied to the pit, 3rd being dsl sync, 4th being connection to the router. so if at least the first 3 are not lit

I have never had a phishing call from scammers purporting to be the NBN. Last week, I called Telstra for the first time in years, about problems with the NBN. You guessed it. I'm now getting heaps of phishing calls wanting to fix my NBN. 🤔 Coincidence, do you think?
