  @NBN_Australia maintenance in my area to improve network. OK fair enough, I'll just work using mobile data for a few hours. Checking the maintenance window ... 7 days! I'm sure my bill will reflect this fact /sarcasm

  I told people when the Krudd had his NBN brain fart that it would be a colossal waste of money and that the future was wireless, and people told me I was being stupid. I remember the French government and their massive white elephant the Minitel system. Same government stupidity, every single time.

  Damn, my NBN has been down since noon today. I'm hot-spotting for now, but it's painfully slow down here. Probably the final straw ... if they don't fix it by tomorrow morning, they'll just convince me to embrace 💫 @Starlink not that I need convincing ✨

  My phone reception has been having issues, yesterday the nbn carked it and I got spat on (my bag) by someone in Footscray. I’ve ordered $60 worth of coffee this morning, had 2 long blacks and I’m about to walk the dog in the rain and go to a bathhouse this arvo.

  Here in Sydney, we're still waiting for the Nine Network's switch to a mostly MPEG4 multiplex which among other things, will bring with it 9LifeHD. No idea if they're waiting for NBN to move out before making that change or what, but I guess patience is a virtue in any case!

  @Batman2242 @JMarshall63666 That's just a stupid old lie. The concept was determined by an independent cost benefit analysis which determined upgrading to fibre provided the best benefit for the cost based on existing and concept tech. Libs destroyed the plan and the economics of the #nbn

  @Suburbia3121 I’ve had it for a while now Andy… you won’t be surprised to know the NBN in Romsey is crap! lol Starlink obv not the cheapest but it’s been an absolute game changer for us.

  @showcallcrewing @NBN_Australia I ended up using iiNET because the offer a 4G backup, very important for work. And Optus did not help when NBN tech disconnected me, by mistake, as their record were not accurate, so they cut me. For it sorted in 3 days, but no apology from NBN for their error no follow up.

  @pigways @Batman2242 What? Fttn was cheap to install but severely limits revenue and has a massive maintenance costs which means it can never make a return on the investment. It's why #nbn convinced LNP to provide additional funding and begin the free upgrade to fttp.

  @TopherField I'm in regional Victoria and there's NBN fixed wireless, someone has to come to your home, drill holes and install cables and a antenna on the roof that's if you are in line of sight of the tower, it is slow, people around me have just got Starlink instead, it's a game changer
