@NBN_Australia It appears that there’s ”an outage” affecting ”an area” and I’m in the affected area. I’ll get an sms when it’s back in service. I hope it’s not too late because I want to send two laptops through Windows updates before hitting the road in the morning. Not practical over 4G.

@Telstra No, all it says is that it’s a problem with the NBN network. No further information. I understand you at Telstra may not be getting the info you need. Just a frustrating experience.

@alexbhturnbull The NBN is sad rubbish unless you got it as FTTP but the fast rail is a great idea and I'd love to see it go ahead. Rail travel fast or slow is my first choice. The Southern Aurora was the way I always travelled from Syd/Mel/Syd .Should never have stopped it.

@NBN_Australia After years of delays my street was scheduled for March. I've never had Foxtel so mine got moved out to May, and then tonight whilst contractors are doing nightwork it moves out another year. I'm looking for an actual answer please.

I observe the sending activity blue bar on top on screen and see this goes to sudden stop for moment then it send, indication of possible congestions, or nbn network (a new system network in australia) complications.

@JamesPinnell I never plugged mine in, it only ever had telemarketers, and now I’m on NBN, I’d need to buy a compatible handset, just to get called by telemarketers.

@geoffrey_payne Yes, it isn't bad for business grade fibre. At home I have NBN FTTP, and the 50Mbps speed. Usually works well. Should be targeting 1Gbps for fibre, though!

@PaulFletcherMP Labor started NBN from scratch. Had to hire staff, find premises, etc. They did very well to actually start rollout by end of their term. LNP's contribution, as usual, was to slow the rollout and degrade the service. You wouldn't dare spout this crap if there were journalists.

@PaulFletcherMP Wow! This is one of the worst attempts at re-writing history I’ve seen. Under Labor the NBN would have been what it should have been. Under #LNPfail the NBN became an international joke, an embarrassment. The NBN will become what it needs to be ONLY under a Labor gov.

@DoodyDarren @Melstar71 @AlboMP Well, wireless, yes, if you have stuff in the way that’s moving about. FTTN reliability is driven by the copier connection to your house, if it’s unreliable, you whinge until they fix it. I estimate repair of my own line cost the NBN around $10K, but they did it.

@PaulFletcherMP What are you on about, all you have done is provide the Australian community with a watered down NBN service that is so slow at times that ADSL or copper would be a better alternative. Plus now we have to spend a huge amount of money to fix your dumb decisions.
