    @9NewsAUS @9NewsMelb This bloke lives in a bubble has no understanding especially of rural Australia. Poor if any NBN. So many people with no computers or internet never needed one! They also isolate from “office fronts” Libraries & other places where computers & internet usually provided R closed

    @footy_laceout Of course @afl has to realise the shit run out of the NBN to third world standard throughout a lot of Australia just might reduce the opportunity of many Australians to view the footy! Ticketing policies, ridiculous scheduling, corporatization of GF keeping the average fan away.

    @QBCCIntegrity Negative, If voluntary and incentivised a win, Subsidised Govt backed always returns, if mandated certain failure. 20%ish of super is already ESG related and does well.If all is used as a slush fund inefficiency will doom it like the NBN, plus the all eggs 1 basket rule. bad idea

    Just discovered what the folks are paying for a home phone through #Telstra . $50 per month with a $10 discount for concession card. For a freaking home phone via Fixed Wireless NBN that will go down when there is a fire or weather event anyway. @Telstra @NBNCo

    @NationFirstAust @HonTonyAbbott What absolute bullshit. His leadership was not missed after a year of him as PM. He screwed up the car industry, ****** over the NBN, and did stupid things like give Phillip a knighthood. It's not sorely missed now either, except for the RWNJ/SkyNewsAfterDark contigent.

    We updated our NBN recently and subscribe to @Telstra. Though our connection is much quicker, some sites like Gmail are very slow to load, as if there's some kind of bottleneck stuck in the system. I have not solved this issue, and it's getting old.

    And yes I did fact check Grok's post about this before quoting. It's just mind-blowing that Australia's NBN only partially installs fiber and even now still does copper cables instead too. Little wonder why our speeds and stability are nowhere near everyone else.

    @stricts NBN is not too bad here most of the time, but it's only fixed wireless. And in the holiday season it just dies completely. Half the houses around here are airbnb, and they have guest access for their wifi.
