Be aware - a new scam for me. Just had a "No Caller ID" call claiming to be from @NBN_Australia saying my IP address has been compromised and my connection needs to be upgraded before the #NBN goes down for 24-48hrs. Sure buddy.

@mjgal I want to go with T as they have our NBN but C wants to go with O bc they have a special deal with Optuspay for new handsets. Both telcos' service is woeful and Work Spouse swears by V. Which way do we go?!

When I was growing up, there was always a live phone for line for emergencies Now it's hard to go 2 weeks without @Optus, @Ergon, @NBN_Australia going down for indefinite periods leaving a complete and dangerous power and comms blackouts across the region #MillaaMillaa outages

@Archies_Human Hi Helena, this certainly sounds like a known scam call. nbn will never cold call you about this. The best thing you can do is hang up and ignore them, and if you're unsure if it's real or not, please contact your provider to double-check. 1/2
