  • yeppoon Beaver Murray (@yeppoon) reported from Drouin, State of Victoria

@TurnbullMalcolm @ScottMorrisonMP Just think Malcolm you could’ve been remembered as the PM that delivered a world class NBN network instead of the PM that deliberately ****** it up.

  • PholmanHolman Peter Holman (@PholmanHolman) reported from Warragul, State of Victoria

@TPG_Telecom Well, well, well no @NBN_Australia again today. Some years ago we used dialup internet connections, that was fairly slow! BUT AT LEAST IT WORKED!!!!!! What is it with this service, it’s down more often than it works!!

  • Klavinmour Keiran Norman (@Klavinmour) reported

I can honestly say @Telstra has THE worst customer support I've ever dealt with. Having my support tickets cancelled 4 times in 3 days for an issue that can only be fixed by a technician physically working on my NBN box/dish because their remote crap says there is no problem.

  • JulianCalaby Julian Calaby (@JulianCalaby) reported

(I discovered that a simple non-contact live wire detector can detect the signal the NBN box sends to the DPU, and it's present in the former Telstra box on the side of the house. Therefore the fault shouldn't be in our house.)

  • JulianCalaby Julian Calaby (@JulianCalaby) reported

@NBN_Australia @SpinTelAU Finally got through to @SpinTelAU's support line. The person I spoke to was not able to resolve this and has escalated it. So 3-4 days for them to debug it remotely, then they send it to @NBN_Australia. I think the DPU is faulty, so no internet this week. Yay.

bro this nbn thing is a bait im pretty sure our wifi is wayyyy slower than before and now i have to use my data to watch tiktoks wtf

  • CamMagicMan The Magic Man (@CamMagicMan) reported

@wests_glory @WSWanderingEels This neglect isn't recent. People have been raising this issue across Australia since the 1940s. Were happy to create gas lines, telegraph & NBN across the nation, but nothing has been invested in harvesting or collecting annual northern flood water, and run off in our cities.

  • genomematt Matthew Wakefield (@genomematt) reported

Seems the only feature of @NBN_Australia we get in my suburb is them breaking the existing service so we have to wait 4 days (at least) for @Telstra to get around to fixing it. Time on outages page seems to just count then reset- doubt it provides any real info.

  • GutsmanHeavy GmH (@GutsmanHeavy) reported

    @paulformer @NBN_Australia @Telstra Holy crap, I get pissed when it's a 10min outage. 5 days is insanity.

  • JulianCalaby Julian Calaby (@JulianCalaby) reported

@NBN_Australia @SpinTelAU For the record, I'm not blaming @SpinTelAU for this mess, the issue is that it appears that the #NBN #FTTC infrastructure has been designed without the ability to detect faults at the edges of the network, so there's no chance for @NBN_Australia to fix faults before people notice

  • JulianCalaby Julian Calaby (@JulianCalaby) reported

@NBN_Australia Second @SpinTelAU support call: 1 hour on hold, #27 in the queue, then accidentally hung up. Tried again, apparently they'll call me back in either 5 minutes or 175 minutes. Yay. Their support line closes at 5, so potentially it'll be another night without NBN. Sigh.

  • Colin_J_Potts Colin Potts (@Colin_J_Potts) reported

More on the cable down next door..they were told by NBN it is a public holiday and there is nobody to call out..public holiday..what did I miss..
