How to home school kids when the internet drops out every 5 mins so they can’t upload their work? Our whole suburb out - the problem is with the NBN who can’t seem to fix the problem- Optus and Telstra are coping the blame

@NBN_Australia If only there was a way to fix the NBN itself. I can get ~870Mbit from my wifi but NBN can only provide a 24Mbit service. Get rid of FTTN and build an actual network already!

@Telstra This is a problem bigger than Telstra, however Telstra has a huge responsibility due to the commercial hardball played during the NBN development and procurement stage.

@Paul_Karp Can relate. Can't do much at present after minor op, except read, watch movies, pat my dogs. Pity the satellite NBN service is crap for streaming.

@SmokenMirrors15 @NBN_Australia If you have lived long enough you will know how far Australian standard of living has dropped for many people. LNPMorrison government continues to back the well-off and ignore the rest. Undermining Medicare. Neg gearing remains, poor housing prospects for young. 😒😡

@Telstra Thanks for the response, but I am sure you know the NBN hubs lose power so households having power, which many do, makes no difference. This is an issue that needs addressing, not false comforts which are known to have no efficacy.

@JohnRHewson Turnbull and Abbott made sure we wouldn’t have ubiquitous FTTP NBN and instead linking to decades old copper wire. It reduced the capacity for super high speeds. They argued we would never need those speeds. So short-sighted
