@krysin01 I don't know if that's the same situation as me. Basically the only nbn access we have here is fixed wireless, which is advertised as around 60/8 max. Was with Aussie, was getting these speeds, slightly higher down.

  • dgr_dgr Daniel Rose (@dgr_dgr) reported

@debritz I often wonder if everyone in these call centers knows what they're doing is shonky. Surely there's gotta be some who legit think they work for the NBN help desk

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported

@MSMWatchdog2013 Only in Australia do we announce we’re rolling out a national network, then we **** if up with fibre to the node, HFC & the bollocks of fixed wireless and satellite - to now find out that the Aust taxpayer is on hook for $25b Plus we’re now rebuilding it with FTTP. TI #NBN

  • EnergyWrapAU BennyBeatts (@EnergyWrapAU) reported

@GrahamY 100% true. But Rudd never paid a price for NBN stuff up. Turnbull did. And Australian consumers.

  • joshgnosis Josh Taylor (@joshgnosis) reported

@anthony06108170 The cost was coming down, and is cheaper now. A lot of that info is in the reports. Got to remember, capital expenditure is one factor - the operating expenditure is the one biting NBN now having to maintain the old copper.

  • BrowntownBrew Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported

@Tayzlor @NBN_Australia The write off was due to LNP trying to reuse the copper. They spent a lot of money redesigning the network, a heap more on new copper, but never replaced the copper that was the costliest part of the network - between home and pillar. They now admit the copper provides no return

  • vandmedia Kiwivandi (@vandmedia) reported

@itshughesy @NBN_Australia 5g is far superior, 650mbits down for the same price as a NBN connection that can only offer up to 100mbits down…Latency is still fantastic. The NBN was a tragedy in terms of execution, a shining beacon of failure of greedy government, it could have been something special…

  • AboutaDirk Dirk ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ (@AboutaDirk) reported

My internet (@NBN_Australia ) has been down for 3 consecutive days now Makes working from home MIGHTY expensive (have to use my 5g plan) More annoyingly; the 5G is clogged up too because everyone's now on that instead of NBN ARGH

  • Daniell30558035 ANDREWS IS NOT MY PREMIER (@Daniell30558035) reported

@NBN_Australia What a load of crap you're 3rd world nbn doesn't deliver enough nor stability to just watch basic Netflix.

  • BrowntownBrew Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported

@mycrouch Without funding to undo the mess created by LNP, the service and price of #nbn will always suffer.
