Tonight’s temperature will not drop below 28/29°C in #Adelaide... and the local power company has decided to switch power off at 11:00pm. - Also, after 36 HOURS, our home is still without internet. The #NBN is fine to take money from customers, but fails to deliver a service.

@LAMcCormick @NBN_Australia Exactly. It’s so hard to pick, at times there are some providers are so far ahead of the rest, and other times where they’re competing for who is worst. We’re hoping this last month and a 1/2 is refunded - the service was shocking!

@TPG_Telecom 4am and right on cue, no WiFi. Happens every night, several times. I work nights until quite late so this is when I relax and watch tv. We have no digital tv signal here so all our news and media comes through the NBN. 😣 So frustrating when it consteantly drops out.

@Internode The cable is only a year old. However in the time it took to send that tweet, the red light on the modem came on, so I reset it and were away. Odd that I’ve had issues two days in a row. Could it be related to the NBN construction going on.

Today I would agree the NBN is ineffectual. Slow speeds, and at a heavy cost to consumers. Other options are now available.

@missy__m You may get lower latency from lower ping rates but your speed across the network won't be affected. If I was a gamer, I'd go Superloop. No one rents cable from other telcos, they lease from NBN.

@Mark_Young05 @SpaceX Yep, FB users group regularly reports 200-300Mbps down, upload not as good, but generally a massive upgrade on NBN Sat, Fixed wireless, FTTN. Just costs more than you'd usually want to pay.

Had to phone Telstra after Internet got too slow at home, seems an issue with the NBN box, they are sending technician out tomorrow morning, very quick service, person I spoke to today on the phone was very helpful, phone call took one hour not as long as some calls in the past
