    @DrewPavlou Australia's internet is **** because Tony Abbott deliberately sabotaged the NBN by making it fibre to the node. Rupert Murdoch was worried that streaming services would eat into his pay TV profits, so he had all his news orgs back Abbott. They even announced it at Fox Studios.

    I woke up to find my Internet is down. I'm typing this via an unusably slow emergency backup mobile access function. I hope my fibre connectivity comes back up soon. The problem is with either my ISP(RSP), or the #NBN, more likely the former.

    So, apparently #NBN is performing maintenance in various areas of VIC, with outages up to three hours in each area. Something seems to have gone wrong with it, though, so it's now a widespread issue.

    No @NBN_Australia , 1 minute of notice is not a "Planned" 6 hour outage I can only assume you have different SLAs if you call it planned. #NBN #NoBroadbandNetwork

    @Sauronlordking If there is one thing I didn't mind from the ALP that would be the NBN in its original form. Then this idiot came around and mutilated it into his own little mixed up mess. That now has to be unraveled at even more expense!!!

    Not that I've heard anything of course. But surely, a NBN News presenter or two that WIN are likely to see as being "surplus to requirements" under their new format for local news would make for far better Super Radio Network hosts? Not to mention, have wider name recognition...
