@TheNewDailyAu The NBN set the wholesale price all providors have to pay, smaller telcos may undercut the majors, but it's always a trade off with some things missing like technical support..

Surely in 2022 Australia should have an internet network that will survive a power outage. I need my second NBN box replacement this week due to 2 unplanned power outages (not weather induced)! Each time I am without access to internet (and thus ability to do my job) for a day.

nbn guy is nice (yay), nbn guy can't get anything to happen today (boo) , nbn guy is charging the owner 5 figures to tunnel under the road and correctly service the properties (yaayyyy), but nothing will happen till wednesday (boooo)

@richms @StuFlemingNZ My counter to that is if you look at AU it is far far worse. There were minimum connect rates but they were just 64kbps which we all know is terrible. But AU minimum rates from NBN are a joke.
