Internet has been crap all day. Has the NBN tower fallen over or something?

  • MeckeringBoy Michael Dowling #ICACNow #auspol (@MeckeringBoy) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@eleanorhall1 @abcnews @andrewprobyn Unfortunately our ABC has form. Look back at BS over solar PV & insulation that helps people in perpetuity & had FEWER deaths. ABC wanted to treat Labor’s FTTP & LNP’s FTTN NBN plans as if they were equals. The result? Tens of billions wasted building slow💩copper mess. #auspol

@Telstra After working with your support team who failed 8 times to connect nbn to my house in Lorne I think I’ll pass up wasting my time. At a high level, your business knows there is a black spot. Just fix it.

  • AliceJack_0810 BB_2765 (@AliceJack_0810) reported

@Telstra I ordered internet on 25 March. I’ve been waiting for NBN installation but was fine using the mobile sim on the modem - which is great! Until tonight when in resolving the appointment you decided to cancel my order!

  • kangaroozoo_ kangaaaa 🌸 (@kangaroozoo_) reported

So apparently there’s an outage in my area with the NBN that’s completely ******* my upload speed. So no streams until that’s resolved. I am so annoyed 🤬

On the question of whether Rudd's 07 campaign was big target or small target I have the following thoughts: -Howard's recalcitrance on a few major issues meant Rudd could promise a couple of significant changes without much controversy, namely: -Apology -Workchoices -Kyoto -NBN

  • DavidJSmith3567 David Smith (@DavidJSmith3567) reported

@samanthamaiden Another relevant point the q. was about NDIS. Would not exist if not for Labor. I remember some on the Right arguing at the time that “we can’t afford” to support people with disabilities. Around the time they were saying same about NBN. I’m glad for both even tho not perfect

  • RandolpheLibre Jane Smith (@RandolpheLibre) reported

@TomMcIlroy Kevin Rudd was going to fix this, starting in 2007. NBN too. I voted for both policies. Btw, wish we could vote preferentially for policies instead of issues being offered as party packages.

3/ 'We will provide any further updates as they become available.' @NBN_Australia that is the most pathetic excuse/explanation for 24 hours of non-service I have ever heard. There must be a register of sites and contacts. Use it. Pull your finger out. Restore the service.

@swrighteconomy @CroweDM @rachelclun How much of debt was incurred from infrastructure investment. NBN, roads, rail, communications, ports, airport. Not all debt is bad!
