@NBN_Australia @Telstra My NBN box has been clicking, link button flashing red since last night's storm (Sutherland NSW). I'm on backup 4G (hideously slow) and next NBN visit (via My Telstra) is 22nd March. I work from home so need decent internet for my business. Not good enough

@BelongAU hello. I have sent over a DM. Following the electrical storm in Sydney last night my nbn connection box has the link symbol flashing red and it is also clicking. Power cycle hasn't resolve it nor has the reset button. NBN says no outage detected!

@milobentley_ Check what your actual line speed is (ask your provider, or ask NBN). Aussie service providers will con you into a 100/40 plan when your line can only handle 50/20 max. In any case, 50/20 is more than enough to run a 5-6k. If you can’t, then it’s a provider issue, not a you issue

@joshgnosis Well, as long as you’re referring to Turnbull’s garbage MTM, yes. But that needs to be seen in terms of a massive liability disposal by Telstra to NBN, literally socialising their creaking old copper and NBN Co paying them to do so.
