@7NewsMelbourne Reading this pisses me off a bit as I’m unable to get any nbn at all unless I get satellite Which cost a lot more than fibre to the node. to cap that I have minimum mobile phone coverage and the government is starting to talk about 6G. How about they fix these problems first!

@thunderwilson23 @DaveMilbo We just got nbn and our speed and reliability went down despite paying for top speed.

  • MsTrueWillberry Willberry (@MsTrueWillberry) reported

@DaveMilbo Found out we could choose between TPG's own network (FFTB) or NBN. Only a v limited number of areas here & in Melb have the option. The NBN went to court & stopped TPG's rollout. I went with TPG (18 mths now) & the speed is 120+Mbps and very stable. Won't be able to move now! 🙃

Why is it that businesses and companies that make a boast of being Australian give the worst customer service- Qantas, Jetstar, Australia Post, NBN, Telstra the four big banks; also our government services - Centrelink, ATO, Medicare, NDIS.

  • Montecscoot Christopher Skjoedt (@Montecscoot) reported

It's horrible when your internet suddenly goes down. No outages reported by the NBN or Telstra but I know there has to be one. Went around checking my WiFi extenders, then checked on the Telstra modem, it's led was green, it was saying it was online but no internet.

iiNet make another technician appointment tomorrow. I explain I don’t want to take another day off work for a no show. iiNet tell me that as the problem is external, I won’t need to be home. iiNet and NBN send me confirmation SMSs telling me I’ll need to be home. 2/

  • Montecscoot Christopher Skjoedt (@Montecscoot) reported

I shut the modem down and started it up again and there was no change, then I restarted it and again no change, I did a factory reset and again no change, then I disconected the NBN box from the backup battery, then pluged in the WAN cable and plugged the battery back in...

@drajm A monumentally shortsighted, bad decision. This is like Abbott’s NBN call in 2013 but instead of inconveniencing our WIFI bandwidth, it’s risking peoples lives.
