Joe Cautec (@JCautec) reportedFinally an NBN tech was available today. AussieBB told him he needed to test the lines... When the FttC box they provided was just rubbish and died at 2weeks old. He just handed me the box instead and problem was solved. 100mbps down and 37mbps up. Not bad for a 100/40 plan.

Rob (Fully Vaxxed) Hall (@OzPol_Critic) reported@NBN_Australia The nearest node to my home was 50m. But my connection took a 1.4km scenic route ending in a 12mbps on a good day connection. It took 3 years of phone calls and two ISP's to get it rerouted. So I KNOW all about your ISP support tools. My in-laws are going 4g/wi-fi modern.

Amber May (@AmberMay2021) reported@MikeCarlton01 There seems to be troubles with a lot of providers. My Telstra NBN was so slow all weekend that I couldn't even run a speed test. It dropped out completely last night and is still down with no fix time. Even the 3g my modem switches to is almost unusable. 😠

David Hunter (@DavidHu64184621) reportedIn the old days if a storm took out your modem you could buy a new one and reconnect straight away, nowadays you have to be home between December and May for an @NBN_Australia technician to come and plug the new one in for you. also keep paying your ISP (@iiNet) for the service

Benno (@jeamland) reported@hawkieowl NBN could have worked if the ALP weren’t idiots in multiple directions at once. So yeah, it was never going to work.
-
Sar Bear (@SarBear08517988) reported@PhillipAdams_1 Switched over from NBN Satellite to Starlink about a month ago. At its worst, 6 times faster. Very few outages & very short duration. Even started itself after lengthy blackout when the dish was full of water! I’ve just got it sitting on the ground out in the paddock. 👍👍👍

Nil Flips (@neilphillips) reported@neerav They've already got NBN, it just sucks but it's fine for 350 days a year. I'm trying to transfer data/setup their new PC with about 0.2mbps upload..
