    @phonakins p.s. we went 6 days with no way to contact 000 after the most recent flood in the manning valley. also left emergency services without coms. NBN tower used to have backup generator <it does optus and voda mobile as well> but they "upgraded" it to a 4 hour backup battery last year

    @SamZawsum ****, I've a Telstra pit out front of my place, they only cabled the NBN at street level. Stuck with mobile broadband. If only it had been done right the first time!
