  @Cassy090909 @Starlink Be alright if we could actually GET NBN!! Did you know some areas still don’t have nbn and so are at the mercy of ineffective private companies charging money for a half arsed service - try Gold Coast Coomera for example - noooothing, starlink charge up an upfront fee of $1365…

  @jarro56 @isaacfloyd13 There was bipartisan support for the NDIS & NBN because they were popular as their projected cost were fractions of what they actually became. The NBN could have been delivered by private sector for fraction of cost & is likely to be obsolete in future.

  Here in Sydney, we're still waiting for the Nine Network's switch to a mostly MPEG4 multiplex which among other things, will bring with it 9LifeHD. No idea if they're waiting for NBN to move out before making that change or what, but I guess patience is a virtue in any case!

  @NBN_Australia maintenance in my area to improve network. OK fair enough, I'll just work using mobile data for a few hours. Checking the maintenance window ... 7 days! I'm sure my bill will reflect this fact /sarcasm

  Update. Dodos from NBN came back to tell me it’s my fault and nothing to do with them. Well! Problem solved. It will not be because of them come Thursday, Starlink install day.

  @DAKKADAKKA1 This is literally the reason why Huawei was banned from even bidding on doing the NBN and 5G network in Australia, because Chinese tech is spy tech.

  My @NBN has been down since 9am & they won't come to fix issue till Monday - 4 days (2nd time in 2 wks)! My Telstra hotspotting is weak. Time to hook up with @starlink Issue here is local installer charges an arm/leg etc to install sys on roof etc. I may have to suck it up.

  OR they could say? Starlink is the same OR cheaper and gives better service! while our sat service costs a LOT for lousy speeds and is ****** if? it works at all Elon Musk cashes in on Australia’s NBN fail Bush families are being forced to pay the world’s richest man for basic phone coverage, as Australia’s bungled NBN rollout leaves dangerous black spots across the regions.
