    @GamersNexus @HardwareUnboxed Though I've got mine on a special early-bird deal, pay 30AUD for like 55GB per month. Though am using the Optus network so it's usually congested during the day and only get 50/20Mbps with my S10+ in the middle of the night xD Which is the same speed as my NBN :P

    7 months after informing TELSTRA we are moving and no longer need our land line and NBN service we are still being charged multiple calls emails and 3 visits to a service centre still being charged

    @Optus Yes please. I have moved into a development that does not have nbn but has opticomm so I can’t sign on to Optus broadband. I have been a customer for around 2 decades and want to retain my email account. Is there a way to retain it?

    @RickTheWarden @me_dc NBN technician came yesterday to fix outage fault, changed some hardware inside & outside... was working fine until now. It seems like it’s tripped the front room where the NBN/modem is inside - safety switch won’t stay on. Still try what you’ve suggested?

    Last night my internet provider said they’d raise a service request with NBN and a tech would attend within 24 hours. They just said they need to do another test w me tonight before they can raise the request. So it’ll be another night w no internet and no way to deliver prizes!

    @stevol321 @InsidersABC @David_Speers NBN and NDIS were ALP ideas, too. When has that stopped the LNP from stuffing things up? Try to tell your provider you're not going to w-f-d. RC told them what was needed, but did they fix the problems? LNP have been in for 7 years, complain about ALP when they're in.

    @NBN_Australia And you've again told me I'm ready for connection and to go to a RSP, which I did, they told me that the service class had been changed to request a visit to reinstall the the cable, buuuuuut you aren't taking bookings. Can you make your minds up?

    On the phone to AussieBB, wow since yesterday’s outage I had 25 dropped connections. I’d like to say ‘damn HFC’ but apparently not necessarily. Anyway it’s time for the NBN man in the van to do his thing.

    @JackJaeger7 @Optus Maybe get ya cable in the roof replaced. Some houses have old copper caballing that is crappy for NBN. As soon as I replaced mine with Cat6 not a problem. Cost about $250 installed from Mr Telco!

    @Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia Done and the faults been fixed since. Hopefully for good? Because last time there was a ‘it came good and sorted itself’ as an explanation and that’s never a fix.

    @NBN_Australia Please advise how customers of various ISPs can contact you regarding the fact that our service goes out in the rain in our region. This is -not- an ISP related issue, as we all have different ISPs. This is an issue with the underlying hardware and infrastructure.

    @NBN_Australia Would be off so often. I seriously thought that it would continuously improve like all technology. Thanks for the info on disasters. I will make sure I read it again. It won't help though if there is no connectivity. Some days to make a phone call I 2/3

    @Tygati Is dodgy NBN normal in Australia? All signs point to yes. I don't personally know anyone else with this specific problem, as far as I'm aware though. The network disconnection this time was caused by a power outage, I can't speak for other occasions.

    @mjrowland68 @GregHuntMP I don't know why we are surprised given the track record with NBN, census, Service NSW data breaches.... LNP government + IT = #LNPfail Spend what is needed on IT; not the place to cut corners in the modern world.

    @NBN_Australia Constant dropping out Slow speeds I'm on fixed wireless and have had it for over 4yrs. It gets worse all the time. The home phone is on NBN so it doesn't work either during outages. Mobile phone coverage poor so I rely on wireless back up and so that doesn't work either. 1/2

    @ShortAmbiguous it has been ok for a while but they had to replace the cabling up the street because most connections were no good and everytime a new customer joined the nbn contractors would nick our connection to use for someone else. that went on for a couple of years.
