@stevol321 @InsidersABC @David_Speers NBN and NDIS were ALP ideas, too. When has that stopped the LNP from stuffing things up? Try to tell your provider you're not going to w-f-d. RC told them what was needed, but did they fix the problems? LNP have been in for 7 years, complain about ALP when they're in.

  • ILM126 Treble Sketch (Want Desktop Assist? Check profile) (@ILM126) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@GamersNexus @HardwareUnboxed Though I've got mine on a special early-bird deal, pay 30AUD for like 55GB per month. Though am using the Optus network so it's usually congested during the day and only get 50/20Mbps with my S10+ in the middle of the night xD Which is the same speed as my NBN :P

@NBN_Australia And you've again told me I'm ready for connection and to go to a RSP, which I did, they told me that the service class had been changed to request a visit to reinstall the the cable, buuuuuut you aren't taking bookings. Can you make your minds up?

  • realLeoJames Leo James (@realLeoJames) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    Anyone else’s #NBN service practically unusable in #Adelaide? 😡

  • Sregion2 Sregion (@Sregion2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Last night my internet provider said they’d raise a service request with NBN and a tech would attend within 24 hours. They just said they need to do another test w me tonight before they can raise the request. So it’ll be another night w no internet and no way to deliver prizes!

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh ( Crazy Sewer Rat ) (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@D_Melissa2 @TurnbullMalcolm MT never forgiven for the NBN.😑😐Too Unreliable......

  • GrantTDavies A/Prof Grant Davies (@GrantTDavies) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Optus Yes please. I have moved into a development that does not have nbn but has opticomm so I can’t sign on to Optus broadband. I have been a customer for around 2 decades and want to retain my email account. Is there a way to retain it?

  • bryceheaton9 Bryce Heaton (@bryceheaton9) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@AmyRemeikis Kirribilli router broke. NBN Co aren’t available to fix til Monday.

  • Cruedevil Sir Dave 'Cruedevil' (@Cruedevil) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@JackJaeger7 @Optus Maybe get ya cable in the roof replaced. Some houses have old copper caballing that is crappy for NBN. As soon as I replaced mine with Cat6 not a problem. Cost about $250 installed from Mr Telco!

  • andydomAU andy (@andydomAU) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia Done and the faults been fixed since. Hopefully for good? Because last time there was a ‘it came good and sorted itself’ as an explanation and that’s never a fix.

  • JamieSkella Jamie Skella (@JamieSkella) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

2/2 We are already preventing brand new business ideas from taking root here - they’re made unviable due to the embarrassing state of our “built and fully operational” NBN network. Now, we’re at risk of driving old businesses out as well. #auspol

  • MikalHoward Mikal Howard (@MikalHoward) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@RadelaideRob @NBN_Australia Instead of a firmware update, they obviously do hardware updates too. New tech is not a bad thing surely. Did you pay for it?

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@michellegrattan @BlueDodoBird If Turnball hadn't Stuffed up the NBN - there woukd be no Problem!!

  • drnicktellis Dr Nick Tellis (@drnicktellis) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@NBN_Australia Hello there Imagine my joy when this solved my problem That will make two of us imagining a solution to this 💩 Sending me to an IVR that sends me a text is not a solution You can DM me... @Telstra should have gone with @Optus

  • micwoodward ᗰIᑕᕼᗩEᒪ (@micwoodward) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@NBN_Australia Hey there, it says that I can connect, but RSP are telling me that NBN will not process any service requests. Previously had a service at the same address.

  • andydomAU andy (@andydomAU) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

On the phone to AussieBB, wow since yesterday’s outage I had 25 dropped connections. I’d like to say ‘damn HFC’ but apparently not necessarily. Anyway it’s time for the NBN man in the van to do his thing.

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • mchughsiobhan Siobhan A McHugh (@mchughsiobhan) reported

@NBN_Australia we are supposed to be a wealthy developed country - but we’ve had NO INTERNET for 2 days now, an hour south of Sydney. This compounds the outrageous sellout of equitable service to Australia the ALP model promised and Libs derailed. Using old copper: a bad joke.

  • RobynK12 💧Robbie K (@RobynK12) reported

@Chitti_83 @AlboMP Rudd actually put forward the full fibre NBN. Merde doch panicked that no one would need FOXTEL...so he told turnbull to stuff it up, so it would be slow and unattractive. Merde doch got his way.

  • madigoldsmith Madi G 💕 ANTIFA Tour Guide (@madigoldsmith) reported

@xRileyAlexander @BelongAU I really like TPG. I’ve been with them with nbn for years and the only issues I’ve ever had have been infrastructure-related, which is Telstrarse’s fault, not theirs.

  • maximum_sincere kerry stonks (@maximum_sincere) reported

@PencilPushinSOB I'm an NBN tech. The copper part of the FTTN network runs through thick rigid CX cable. You're looking at phone lines that go into individual premises as part of the old telephone network. These wires are not part of the NBN build. Sorry I'm not funny

  • DustyCynic DustyCynic (@DustyCynic) reported

@AlboMP I’ve been waiting FOUR months for Telstra to connect my NBN!!! Most incompetent company I’ve ever deal with. Impossible to communicate with and their engineers just fail to turn up. Never respond to messages or complaints @Telstra

  • EntitledGayKen EntitledGayKen (@EntitledGayKen) reported

Another night of no #NBN THANKS @Optus for scintillating service. The fault might not be yours, but I am tired of the crap processes you offer to rectify this.

  • andrews_geoff Geoff Andrews (@andrews_geoff) reported

@AlboMP The pit outside my house looks the same. I live on the Northern Beaches, in Sydney. I have had 3 equipment failures replaced in 4 months of service. Atrocious. @NBN_Australia

  • kaakoda_moore Kenneth Moore (@kaakoda_moore) reported

@AlboMP Superceded by mobile internet. I live in a remote area. Invested in a mobile signal booster & have created a hotspot on my farm using mobile for internet. Only one account for voice & data with internet speeds just as good as the NBN.

  • virginsnowbunny Ice Maiden (@virginsnowbunny) reported

Wouldn't know what the NBN is like. Living on the outer edge of town in a regional centre in N.S.W. doesn't qualify for NBN service. Still waiting for internet that doesn't drop out and that you can access 24/7.

  • sheep_witchy LNP Free 🇦🇺👍🏻. 🏳️‍🌈🐶 (@sheep_witchy) reported

@AlboMP Fact check. That ain’t no NBN service infrastructure. That is a neglected Telstra/Telecom pit. Dime a dozen. Makes you look like a half arsed opposition leader. #fact
