Tonight’s temperature will not drop below 28/29°C in #Adelaide... and the local power company has decided to switch power off at 11:00pm. - Also, after 36 HOURS, our home is still without internet. The #NBN is fine to take money from customers, but fails to deliver a service.

@TPG_Telecom 4am and right on cue, no WiFi. Happens every night, several times. I work nights until quite late so this is when I relax and watch tv. We have no digital tv signal here so all our news and media comes through the NBN. 😣 So frustrating when it consteantly drops out.

@Internode The cable is only a year old. However in the time it took to send that tweet, the red light on the modem came on, so I reset it and were away. Odd that I’ve had issues two days in a row. Could it be related to the NBN construction going on.

@LAMcCormick @NBN_Australia Exactly. It’s so hard to pick, at times there are some providers are so far ahead of the rest, and other times where they’re competing for who is worst. We’re hoping this last month and a 1/2 is refunded - the service was shocking!

@Tygati Aside from this particular recurring problem my NBN connection is actually usually pretty good, unlike people in a) more remote or b) more highly populated areas. Which kind of makes it more frustrating when I can't get online properly, b/c I'm so used to having a good connection

@Tygati Is dodgy NBN normal in Australia? All signs point to yes. I don't personally know anyone else with this specific problem, as far as I'm aware though. The network disconnection this time was caused by a power outage, I can't speak for other occasions.

@NBN_Australia the worst organisation I have ever come across. No internet for a week. Technicians that don’t turn up, then lie and falsely state they have and repairs equipment, time and money wasted and no recourse but to make another appointment take another day off and hope😡

@Tygati Sometimes it will eventually switch itself back and other times I get to have a fun afternoon of getting Telstra techs to run remote tests on my line only to tell me that they can't identify/fix the problem and I need to get an NBN tech in in person. I hate it so much.
