@NBN_Australia And you've again told me I'm ready for connection and to go to a RSP, which I did, they told me that the service class had been changed to request a visit to reinstall the the cable, buuuuuut you aren't taking bookings. Can you make your minds up?

  • GrantTDavies A/Prof Grant Davies (@GrantTDavies) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Optus Yes please. I have moved into a development that does not have nbn but has opticomm so I can’t sign on to Optus broadband. I have been a customer for around 2 decades and want to retain my email account. Is there a way to retain it?

  • JamieSkella Jamie Skella (@JamieSkella) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

2/2 We are already preventing brand new business ideas from taking root here - they’re made unviable due to the embarrassing state of our “built and fully operational” NBN network. Now, we’re at risk of driving old businesses out as well. #auspol

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh ( Crazy Sewer Rat ) (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@D_Melissa2 @TurnbullMalcolm MT never forgiven for the NBN.😑😐Too Unreliable......

  • bryceheaton9 Bryce Heaton (@bryceheaton9) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@AmyRemeikis Kirribilli router broke. NBN Co aren’t available to fix til Monday.

  • Cruedevil Sir Dave 'Cruedevil' (@Cruedevil) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@JackJaeger7 @Optus Maybe get ya cable in the roof replaced. Some houses have old copper caballing that is crappy for NBN. As soon as I replaced mine with Cat6 not a problem. Cost about $250 installed from Mr Telco!

  • realLeoJames Leo James (@realLeoJames) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    Anyone else’s #NBN service practically unusable in #Adelaide? 😡

  • hyp3rstrike ⛧ HYP3RSTRIKE (@hyp3rstrike) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@JAYovr It was similar where I worked too. Imagine relocating between NBN premises with the same technology type, and selling the exact same hardware to them under the pretense "it's locked to the old premises" just cop a modem purchase or recontract from the customer.

  • kennoJT Jeffrey Kennedy (@kennoJT) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@PaulFletcherMP You are full of Bullshit. A second rate NBN that is slower than the ADSL2 I used to have. If streaming on TV can't use the laptop. You fool. Don't you dare try and compare, your intentions were never to deliver. Massive cost overruns too #NBNfailLNP #auspoI

  • SkaSchmidt Dan Schmidt (@SkaSchmidt) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@djdiscusses @superloopnet Experiencing the same issues. I finally got a call back just then, saying it's an NBN issue and ETA for fixing is currently 6 October. I'm in the Tea Tree Gully area of Adelaide, if that helps.

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @kateju9 @cas_bar000 @blakandblack You have trouble with NBN,Kate?The 3rd person Iv'e heard about having Trouble Today!!😕What's Happening??🤔😕🙃

  • ILM126 Treble Sketch (Want Desktop Assist? Check profile) (@ILM126) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@GamersNexus @HardwareUnboxed Though I've got mine on a special early-bird deal, pay 30AUD for like 55GB per month. Though am using the Optus network so it's usually congested during the day and only get 50/20Mbps with my S10+ in the middle of the night xD Which is the same speed as my NBN :P

  • drnicktellis Dr Nick Tellis (@drnicktellis) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@NBN_Australia Hello there Imagine my joy when this solved my problem That will make two of us imagining a solution to this 💩 Sending me to an IVR that sends me a text is not a solution You can DM me... @Telstra should have gone with @Optus

  • warandpeace88 Aaron Shearer (@warandpeace88) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@NBN_Australia hey team just tried calling your operations centre as my address is missing or incorrect but got a message to say your lines are down. Any eta on when I can speak to someone to sort out my address?

  • andydomAU andy (@andydomAU) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia Done and the faults been fixed since. Hopefully for good? Because last time there was a ‘it came good and sorted itself’ as an explanation and that’s never a fix.

  • Real_LukeMarch Luke Marchioro (@Real_LukeMarch) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Telstra Had an NBN install appointment cancelled at 7am this morning, now have no phone service at business until appointment confirmed

  • micwoodward ᗰIᑕᕼᗩEᒪ (@micwoodward) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@NBN_Australia Hey there, it says that I can connect, but RSP are telling me that NBN will not process any service requests. Previously had a service at the same address.

  • andydomAU andy (@andydomAU) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

On the phone to AussieBB, wow since yesterday’s outage I had 25 dropped connections. I’d like to say ‘damn HFC’ but apparently not necessarily. Anyway it’s time for the NBN man in the van to do his thing.

  • totallyawry 💧NotSoAwry 🧙‍♀️#RavingInnerCityLunatic (@totallyawry) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@stevol321 @InsidersABC @David_Speers NBN and NDIS were ALP ideas, too. When has that stopped the LNP from stuffing things up? Try to tell your provider you're not going to w-f-d. RC told them what was needed, but did they fix the problems? LNP have been in for 7 years, complain about ALP when they're in.

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh ( Crazy Sewer Rat ) (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@denniallen @Isganaitis @KarenMMiddleton We get Crap NBN & Those who provided this get Massive Bonuses!!😡😡😡😡😡We live in Weird,Annoying Times😑VOTE LNP OUT! !

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • wadekelly Dr Wade Kelly (@wadekelly) reported

I'm on a 100/40 @NBN_Australia plan. My provider, MATE, tells they're giving me a free "upgrade" for six months. Downloads bumped to 250 mbps. What they didn't say (support email/call required) was that uploads would dropping to 25 mpbs. Bigger fries + less soda ≠ upgrade

  • sid_verma Sid Verma (@sid_verma) reported

Spent an hour speaking with @Telstra about switching over my #nbn. A customer for over 10 years, mobiles, broadband and more. Their seamless transition is a bloody joke! I’m sorry #telstra but I am going to be taking my business elsewhere. You value your customers 0%

  • StevenGeorgant1 Steven Georgantis 🇦🇺 (@StevenGeorgant1) reported

@TelstraPurple I had to go into. Telstra shop to tell them my problems & get assistance. The system went down, lucky it was saved in email but still waiting if employee registered my issues when system up and working. Getting charged for things not advised or an old line moved to NBN.

  • alexanderswift Alexander Swift (@alexanderswift) reported

@GuardianAus Why’s that the NBN’s problem to solve?

  • thethorpstar Matt (@thethorpstar) reported

@andy_penn I’ve just been told that there will be no @Telstra NBN service for a further two days in my area (bayside Melbourne) - so that’s 5 days with no service @3AW693 (including no back up service). I can see why you get paid the big $$$ - doing a stella job!

  • RoccoHowat1 Roccosmum 🗣 (@RoccoHowat1) reported

@gillbailey_gill @CatBailey0 Sounds like Australia’s NBN. I swear, I get an sms from the ******* every week advising interruptions due to service works in my area

  • VaibhavMehrotra Vaibhav Mehrotra (@VaibhavMehrotra) reported

@NBN_Australia I appreciate but they themselves check the same page. Looking at your experience you could classify the fix as small, med or large and put certain timelines. Take some ownership instead passing the buck.

  • Askgerbil Askgerbil Now (@Askgerbil) reported

@GuardianAus Oops. "Cheap" NBN. Another LNP fail. "3% of the 437,000 boxes installed at the kerb are replaced EVERY MONTH" via @joshgnosis Optical fibre does not conduct electricity. Copper to the node conducts lightning directly into NBN modems inside homes. #auspol

  • weezmgk Comrade Weez (@weezmgk) reported

@R_Chirgwin @joshgnosis Earth leakage detectors (RCDs) trip a lot as neutral isn't always the same potential as earth up here. We also found the original NBN installer had left copper to the exchange connected to the house svc drop so ADSL service could be restored. Big lightning antenna. Disc'd now.

  • Twittblaster Pat Chan-Schatz (@Twittblaster) reported

🎀🔌🙏 2/2: Since connected with #NBN Telstra is infested with problems - outages become commonplace with them. Communication with their tech people is frustrating with both language & cut-off probs. “Hair-tearing” frustration! Be back when possible. #Telstra #Twittblaster 🙏🔌🎀
