@garydlum When my daughter moved to Canberra their house had NBN fibre optic to the door and when I stayed there recently I was blown away by the speed. It has been everything promised to them with no problems. Unlike what I am likely to get on copper wires.... supposedly in 1 year

@NBN_Australia Nah, I’m just sharing my general impression and having a bit of a complain. 😜 I check the status page of our ISP when the internet goes down (there are problems at the exchange occasionally). As for the speed, I haven’t noticed anything groundbreaking. There’s room to grow!

@MJ_Leaver The only solution I’ve been offered is to go an buy a 4g prepaid modem at our expense until we get NBN connected (although this was also promised to use before we went to the UK a year a go). Neither of us can take anymore time off work for @internode to provision

@LeenaVanD @kay_jay_s I have an NBN box on the wall of the house we are renting. TWO of them. Big ugly buggers, one with a big battery. Trying to get connected told no, those boxes don't exist, NBN was never connected to the property. Had to resort to Optus 4G. It is poor.

@NBN_Australia My parents keep contacting me about their NBN being down. I don't use your sub-par network, as my connection is to slow, slower than my non-NBN fixed wifi provider. Can you sort out their internet so they stop talking to _me_ about your second rate network!

@rickschhh Rick, that would frustrate me to no end! As the wholesaler of the network, we can't directly create a support ticket on your behalf. Your provider will need to do this for you, and then if necessary the nbn tech team will work with them to get the issue resolved. 1/2

Is there a worse service than @Telstra? No NBN service or residential phone line since 1 Feb 21 and they've just closed the case having made no effort to fix it. Unbelievable. #INC13246752
