@NBN_Australia BTW, @NBN_Australia my mobile phone is with another provider so I can't get extra free data from Telstra while the problem is resolved.

  • realLeoJames Leo James (@realLeoJames) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Tonight’s temperature will not drop below 28/29°C in #Adelaide... and the local power company has decided to switch power off at 11:00pm. - Also, after 36 HOURS, our home is still without internet. The #NBN is fine to take money from customers, but fails to deliver a service.

  • Kristie_Bae Kristie Baehnisch (@Kristie_Bae) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Hey @iiNet this NBN business is the worst!! Had it for two weeks wish I’d never switched from naked broadband. Internet is so slow, it’s unusable. Having to rely on my phone data. HELP.

@thebeerbeagle You could stay in Australia and have access to @Telstra's #5G network and the ever so reliable #NBN. Or just move @TwoTribesBrew HQ to Adelaide for @CityofAdelaide's 10 gigabit, most connected city in the world.

  • froggy_world frog (@froggy_world) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Glad the cricket is on, no nbn so no netflix. Nbn tech guy due Monday, bet the problem in the green FTN box up the road not at my house.

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

You know there's a problem when an unresolved complaint through ALL the right channels (Ref 2019/02/10444) eliminates your mums opportunity to seek help which impacts her survival. When all she wanted was the same Ph.Number for 40yrs. #ACNPacific @NBN_Australia @TodayTonightSA

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@mormorlady GOOD!! FIX THE NBN, YOU BASTARDS!!

  • gregors510 Nick Gregor (@gregors510) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Internode The cable is only a year old. However in the time it took to send that tweet, the red light on the modem came on, so I reset it and were away. Odd that I’ve had issues two days in a row. Could it be related to the NBN construction going on.

  • iEmRollin Emily Fung (@iEmRollin) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

So apparently NBN is down for quite a few areas in different states, good work making it not only slow but unreliable.

  • GeorgieBanister Georgie Banister (@GeorgieBanister) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Is it even Christmas in Australia if you don’t complain about the NBN not working. #Christmas #NBN

  • DonWestley1 💧 Don Westley (@DonWestley1) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@AaronDodd @jason_om Y'know, I wonder how much a metre that cable is, as I might get them to run a fibre from the house down the street, cheaper than the #NBN! 😎

  • LadyPoop2 Lady Pooh (@LadyPoop2) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@raywilton4 @sacarlin48 I'd be happy with ADS! Same speed as NBN - What a Bloody rip off! Taxing an ineffective Service!!

  • MichalakisCon Con Michalakis (@MichalakisCon) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Demand side types - fix energy, NBN and boost research incentives (higher ed and corp)

  • YasieTV YasieTV 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ TwitchCon (San Diego) (@YasieTV) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

  • morebento morebento (@morebento) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@dobes @moylecroft I had no end of problem with NBN but not TPG fault

  • realLeoJames Leo James (@realLeoJames) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@LAMcCormick @NBN_Australia Exactly. It’s so hard to pick, at times there are some providers are so far ahead of the rest, and other times where they’re competing for who is worst. We’re hoping this last month and a 1/2 is refunded - the service was shocking!

  • iEmRollin Emily Fung (@iEmRollin) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@NBN_Australia We just got our NBN connection back 15 minutes ago (after 13 hours of outage), @Telstra is still showing an outage page on their website tho.

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Robkhouri Rob Khouri (@Robkhouri) reported

@AlboMP LOL. 5G & then 6G is coming ALBO, that'll make Labor's stupid brain fart redundant. "NBN Co says about two percent of all premises - up to 238,000 - are still incapable of minimum 25Mbps peak download speeds, though it claims “the vast majority” of those see speeds over 20Mbps."

  • AvrilTremayne Avril Tremayne (@AvrilTremayne) reported

@MeckeringBoy Yep. Our service is absolute **** since we were forced onto the NBN.

  • MeckeringBoy 💧Michael Dowling-Demand renewable covid recovery! (@MeckeringBoy) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@markmorey5 I get around 50Mbps but STILL have buffering issues EVERY day. And I’m with Telstra. Australia is a joke. Why do we always get third rate infrastructure and crap services? Labor build to gold standard. LNP sabotage everything... From Medicare to NBN NDIS CSIRO ABC. #auspol

  • GENOMEgg Genome (@GENOMEgg) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Steeberino Oh I'm talking about routers, not ISPs, though I'm also going with aussiebb! 5 years of NBN and they've never been an option, so very excited!

  • GrantTraynor Grant Traynor (@GrantTraynor) reported

@AlboMP Maybe. IMO, the NBN is a white elephant anyhow In Oz, and the Telecos knew it, which is why the invested in mobile infra. I can't help but think that aggregated wireless (5G/4G), will make the whole thing redundant anyhow. Future wireless networks doubly so. Cheaper wireless!

  • Kontribute1 Kontribute (@Kontribute1) reported

@MeckeringBoy Took so long to do NBN that satellite internet became a thing before they finished which according to them they have despite the giant gaps + many faults in the network. All caused by COALition cutting corners to cut costs that in the end cost almost double. So yeah, not shocked

  • jfwfreo Jonathan Wilson (@jfwfreo) reported

@AlboMP My NBN FTTC went down before xmas then after I got back from holidays I had a tech visit on the 4th, another on the 8th, one on the 12th and another one booked for tomorrow (the 15th). Each time the tech said they had fixed it but its still having issues. //

  • SeydanurSlv Şeyda Nur Selvi (@SeydanurSlv) reported

Turns out we’ve been using the backup the whole time and our nbn order was on pending status for some reason? Which no one told us about? Spending days calling you guys only to speak to different customer service people. Every single one of them gave us a different explanation?

  • matthewlewis061 Matthew Lewis (@matthewlewis061) reported

@AlboMP I totally reject this statement. The NBN is one of the largest infrastructure projects ever to be conducted in this country. Despite a lot of bad press i been connected since 2015 and never had an issue.

  • SeydanurSlv Şeyda Nur Selvi (@SeydanurSlv) reported

We didn’t have internet for four days and suddenly we received a message saying our nbn is up and running :) Mind you a lot of your customer service people promised us to get back to us by the end of the day which never happened. Now we’re getting a call from you+
