    @JaneCaro Just had this problem fixed here. Phoned provider, clarified frequent dropouts, referred to NBN technicians. This guy climbed telephone pole on footpath, replaced a connection piece up there, fixed. Says that connector wears out every several years. NBN techs trained to climb.

    @JaneCaro We had ongoing issues for over a year. NBN came out 3 times (very prompt, very professional & very polite) which temporarily fixed the issue each time. I then bit the bullet & bought a much better modem & mesh extender. Speed & reliability instantly improved & zero issues since.

    @JaneCaro I thought my nbn was bad, but it was my laptop not liking the modem.

    @JaneCaro I suggest you may have a modem problem not a Nbn problem if the devices are disconnecting. Try starlink I've heard it's providing superfast internet in regional aust

    @JaneCaro @JohnWat77514803 Is it kind to blame Tony Abbott for your issues with Starlink when Starlink is owned and operated by a foreign entity entirely separate to the Australian Govt, and Starlink has no relationship what so ever with NBN, both technically or commercially ?

    @JaneCaro @DeltaBDS Maybe it's your provider? Some of them have oversold and under delivered. Is it happening to your neighbour's? If not, it's not the NBN. Since I don't know a single other person having that same problem, I somehow don't think it is Tony Abbott's fault.

    @BobNew8 The cable is absolutely not on our property. It’s ok, we’re leaving Telstra. Sick and tired paying for a service they refuse to fix ON THEIR END. It’s kind of an example how **** NBN is too. We’re only an hr from Melbourne, but we can’t connect and have to pay extra

    @DocB__ @JaneCaro @JudithSherry1 Nah, most people are happy, Happy people don’t post. I have had multiple NBN connections at multiple locations over the years. Never had an issue. Jane’s problem is probably easy to fix but if she plays the victim, she gets more attention.
