Though am using the Optus network so it's usually congested during the day and only get 50/20Mbps with my S10+ in the middle of the night xD Which is the same speed as my NBN :P

I work nights until quite late so this is when I relax and watch tv. We have no digital tv signal here so all our news and media comes through the NBN. 😣 So frustrating when it consteantly drops out.

As for the speed, I haven’t noticed anything groundbreaking. There’s room to grow!

When has that stopped the LNP from stuffing things up? Try to tell your provider you're not going to w-f-d. RC told them what was needed, but did they fix the problems? He blamed internet connectivity....but his missus & he sells religious tours to Israel. About $6K a pop. Lots of video chats & downloading GOD from heaven.... probably explains the connectivity issues. Crap NBN up there, probably copper to the node.

I've already escalated this through my ISP several times and had NBN technicians cancel because it's come back on when they've been scheduled, doesn't matter that it's off for days at a time in between. That's my issue.

It raised $60bn to sell the assets, then we spent $60bn on NBN Co just to regain access to the assets sold and duplicate/upgrade the network we sold - and Telstra has paid something like $80-85bn in shareholder dividends along the way. In many respects, NBN shouldn't exist. It should have been the $80-85bn in "shareholder dividends" to the Public Owner that paid for the fibres to be laid - not a $60bn investment after a $60bn sale. But NBN was forced to be created after a now-shareholder-owned Telstra responded to how it might build a national broadband network with a non-compliant 12 page letter effectively saying "we won't - the copper wires are our privately-owned monopoly and we want to protect our market monopoly".
