Many critics of the MtM NBN made inability to carry multiple HD video streams a big part of their objections. Now the ACCC says Netflix - which optimises the heck outta everything - can squeeze four HD streams down a 12Mbps link. Yes, I know the NBN still has many shortcomings.

Politely informed that now my NBN outage is a known issue I should only circle back to my ISP to follow up on restoration timing (no ETA offered) if it’s still a problem tomorrow. Great. Just great. And no, NBN, don’t chime in at this stage...

@andy_penn Hi Andy. Sitting on hold with your online phone service still trying to get my internet sorted out. They said about 10 minutes wait and it’s 30 mins now and still waiting. No update, just music. Do you think this is acceptable service for a Telstra NBN problem not of my making?

@NBN_Australia My Father had TWO appointments cancelled because the NBN Tech could see the modem from the exchange and no issues. He did both to check if there was any data flowing - There couldn't be, because the Ethernet interface on the modem was "cooked"

@NBN_Australia Hi, Tech has attended this morning. Checked my line, chased line back to the exchange. Problem is it is not fixed. Was good for 1.5hrs, now the dropouts have started again, RIGHT in the middle of updating remote Server Firmware. Is it REALLY that hard to provide STABLE internet
