NO INTERNET ARC | Sunny 🇦🇺🐣 (@sunnyandpeep) reported
NBN man has had only bad news so far 😭 He's doing some exploring/fiddling, but it's looking like we might need a whole new phoneline put in and that'd take at least an extra week 🥴 I'm dying bros, send help 🫠

@StanAustralia is there an issue with AO and streaming or is it just the crappy NBN the LNP stuck us with packing in with the HEAT? 🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾

Optus (@Optus) reported
@VamsiMithun Sorry to hear about the issues with your internet service, Vamsi! I can see there are no outages reported over our mobile and nbn services in Cranbourne West. We'd be happy to take a closer look, could you DM us your complete address and internet type? Sarah

@joshgnosis @markhumphries I’ve never had to deal with this. But what does the 300 fee pay for? The connection boxes attached to the house and the nbn modem? Or is it wiring from the property boundary to the house as well?

He left and I heard nothing more from ISP or Telstra. Eventually got onto Telstra. Their notes said the homeowner (me) did not want Telstra to do the job so the order was cancelled! How bizarre and absurd. 5 years later, I still have no NBN, but an Optus wireless service.

@Optus It seems to have rectified itself but I do have this problem from time to time. I've done a traceroute in Windows and the issue seems to be a particular router on the NBN.

@markhumphries It’s interesting @NBN_Australia ..what say you? You are one of our large “corporate citizens” with a social license to provide a service. Are you ripping off the likes of @markhumphries or do you assert the repeat “connection fee” is justified, fair and reasonably priced?

Ferdie Khnopff (@FKhnopff) reported
@markhumphries Fed govts not prepared to fully subsidise NBN connections ($billions), or to mandate NBN/minimum speed under universal service guarantee ($billions cost for telco industry). And states won't mandate landlords pay ($billions & way too hard). So tenants/consumers pay. Kiwi is diff.

Hey @NBN_Australia i’ve had an outage on my NBN Internet since Sunday morning and I’ve just been told that there’s no technicians available to look at the issue until 1st of February. Almost an entire month. @NBN_Australia anything you can do to get this fixed?
