@deathjab4 Have you tried a 4G modem? I refused to fall for the government sponsored NBN scam and went 4G. Fast AF, reliable, Telstra 400gb data only sim. You don't need an Internet Service Provider, you just need a data supplier.

@strangedevices1 NBN FTTN with existing copper phone lines from the node, no HFC. It’s incredible in 2022 we’re still running it on the same crap 50-year-old copper phone pair in many residences.

@MetalJesusRocks I have a landline, albeit via the National Broadband Network ((NBN) in Australia because despite living in Bankstown, less than 15km from the Sydney CBD, I can’t get a signal on a mobile, on any network…

@SEggminder @newscomauHQ @badministrator9 Abbott? Who smashed the nation-wide, world-leading NBN? And sent us back to a chewing-gum and chicken wire network? That will have to be replaced within the decade? Who left no legacy except this and an onion? That Tony Abbott?!

I was so disgusted at the poor service ethic at @NBN_Australia who did not tell me they were not coming because they pinged my device and saw it was up but did not tell me they were not coming, I switched off my working internet connection and went back to using #4G
