  • EthicalAdviser Steve Putt (@EthicalAdviser) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

After telling the optus chat line that my house had burned down and that I had tried repeatedly to get the nbn cancelled (which I am still paying for), she asked me, and I kid you not, if I had tried turning it off and turning it back on again. I…I don’t know how to answer.

Australia Internet NBN satellite quality of service below any standards sold to users via retailers as high premium services and download speed continuously dropping down to 0.42 Mbits worst than any mobile services.

iinet: Has your installation been done yet? iinet: We'll escalate it again. In the meantime here's the NBN help-line number for wholesalers - try calling them directly. NBN helpline: This number belongs to 1300 Australia. iinet: We gave you the wrong number. Try this one.

@iiNet @NBN_Australia FTTP upgrades have been available for over a year, I’ve been eligible for 8+ months and my FTTN is so degraded I don’t even know what im paying for! You have offically lost a 15+ year customer today! Thanks for leaving your existing customers with crap!

@HYP3RSTRIKE So basically literally anyone who games are causing "price issues"? Hahahaha nah m8, it's the crappy infrastructure and half assed planning of the NBN network that is the issue. Besides, it's been proven and shown time again that gamers ARE NOT hogging the internet 😮‍💨

  • TjarcoH NoMoreHeroes (@TjarcoH) reported

@NBN_Australia It’s not all about ping but much more about c-o-m-m-u-n-i-c-a-t-i-o-n, for which NBN is notoriously slow and packed in jargon No options of feedback All shifting responsibilities to contractors and sales-middle-men Do better!

@PaulFletcherMP @AlboMP While we have you here Paul, can you explain why the NBN is such a failure, why our networks are below par in speed and service delivery and why our IT security is questionable.I am seriously interested. How on God's earth did you get a job with Optus before your parliament gig?
