@KjMcelrath Actually they can't, they have proved time and time again that providing quality internet service in Australia is beyond their expertise. The NBN is a joke, fibre to the node? come on? that technology was outdated before they installed it.

@MyRepublicAU This page has never has any useful information. Have to rely on NBN status page for any real answers.

@NBN_Australia Done all that, Natalie... NFF = no fault found. So our provider has checked and there is no fault in our home, we have checked all that, boosted the wifi signal along the way. But the problem continues and NBN have done nothing.

  • hyp3rstrike ~⛧ /usr/hyp3rstrike (@hyp3rstrike) reported

@craznar @NickRossTech @NBN_Australia If it's a single user fault, then it's not an outage. As mentioned before, an outage is defined as something that affects a significant number of end users - usually a mass service disruption/mass network disruption. If it's a single premises affected, that's a fault.

Sit down at my desk to do some work before a telehealth appointment for the kid, but the internet doesn't work. Ah, the "Emergency NBN outage" email from my ISP explains that. Gotta love saving a few pennies by reusing the bucket of shite HFC network from the 1990s!

  • phillipwmoore49 Phillip Moore (@phillipwmoore49) reported

Is there a worse customer service organisation than @Telstra? Wifi died. Not NBN fault according to Telstra. On-line to Telstra support from mid afternoon. At 7pm agent promises to reply in 30 minutes. 13.5 hours later still waiting. 2 people working from home must have wifi.😡😡

  • sonialf Dr. Sonia Fullerton 😷 (@sonialf) reported

@DodoInternet my nbn in #Northcote 3070 has not worked for about 24 hours. Help?

  • craznar Christopher Burke 🇦🇺 (@craznar) reported

@hyp3rstrike @NickRossTech @NBN_Australia Periods of constant dropouts lasting months, with extremely poor upload speeds. On HFC. I've not had a viable service for 2 weeks out of the last 4, and a very poor service the other 2 weeks.

  • dannyhowboy Danny (@dannyhowboy) reported

    (1) @Telstra lately has been so frustrating. Signed up for NBN for my new place two weeks ago, technical problem in store meant the order went through on Saturday. Told I would get the NBN box on Monday with a connection date on Tuesday.
