@njbtweet @QuentinDempster Our retirement village has copper networks of, phone lines, single digital antenna network and power, to 192 villa units. For 2 years running hit by lightning, blowing out electronics. An island net of copper. Took 5 weeks and 3 weeks to fix our NBN. We now choose to use 5G Home.

@RuncibleH I don't think I will be signing up with Aus Post NBN internet services, given their track record with their core business...and given the way they treat some of their staff...Christine Holgate comes to mind...have they sacked the board involved in all of that, yet?

@JonesHowdareyou My pleasure. That 'advice' was given to me by a Telstra tech person based in Sydney about 4 yrs ago when we were having some problems with the changeover to NBN. I sometimes have to do those things these days after we have power outages.

@QuentinDempster It will take far longer than a decade to upgrade the entire network. All this just because the Libs didn't want the NBN to be remembered as a Labor success and example of a successfull public project. Their betrayal of Australia's best interest was reprehensible.

Australia Post has announced they are going to start offering home NBN internet services. How about they sort out their problems with their core business of delivering letters and parcels first?

@DebDeb41 @NBN_Australia @acccgovau SkyMesh. They are excellent (based in Brisbane but they service rural areas). They were the first ISP I used where you could flick a switch and increase your monthly limit "Until the next billing cycle", where it would instantly revert back to the lower cost.
