  • RayWhitehead Grumpy old sewer rat 🐀 (@RayWhitehead) reported

@NBN_Australia @jrbrown48_brown I have the same issue in Canberra. Have spoken to the service provider. They say everything is fine but will despatch a tech if I agree to pay $460 per hour for an infrastructure design issue in poor weather. NBN needs to own up to fix its design faults.

  • jrbrown48_brown Raymond Brown (@jrbrown48_brown) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia I have taken this up with Telstra on 3 occasions. It's the old Foxtel cable. It apparently needs an upgrade. Not prepared to help

  • CarcassOfChrist Carcass of Christ (@CarcassOfChrist) reported

@NBN_Australia It took a good 15-20 minutes after the outage begun before it appeared on your network status page. My provide doesn't operate a 24/7 helpdesk. Build a more reliable network next time.

  • BrendanCarton 💧Brendan Carton (@BrendanCarton) reported

@MeckeringBoy Botched NBN, stalled distributed energy production via solar: how much damage do these clowns have to do to regional Australia before we stop voting for them?

  • HWW232 Ok Boomer (@HWW232) reported

@JmarrMarr @SatPaper LNP we can do it better and cheaper BS! They couldn't possibly deliver a ALP initiative. Ended up spending more money on NBN and delivering a terrible service. Bravo LNP bravo.

  • 13arm13arm ARM (@13arm13arm) reported

@Vivek09231837 @TeslaStraya @TooOld4_This I've had very few issues, my NBN connection gets disconnected in 3 days.

  • PKaotic Pabz (@PKaotic) reported

@jamiemgalea All the blue lights are on so the NBN box looks to be working correctly. If there was a flashing red light it's an actual NBN issue. Double check the cables, I know I had a couple different coloured ones come with the box and modem. A yellow ethernet cable in particular.

  • docbaty Steve 'Doc' Baty (@docbaty) reported

[Laurie goes into some history, with the crux being that Rudd’s Communications minister, Stephen Conroy, was made aware of these shortcomings when designing the NBN, and so avoided the use of Telstra, Optus or the PayTV networks. It was a known problem from the start.]

  • docbaty Steve 'Doc' Baty (@docbaty) reported

[Let me pause for a moment and go back a step. The original NBN plan from Labor was for fibre to every premises at a cost of $36bn (if memory serves) - someone might help me with the actual figure…]

@artfulbunny I’m on 50MBPS NBN it’s not that it’s the update app. Piece of crap. Apple and Windows don’t talk nicely. I don’t even plug my iPhone into this PC. It sits under my workbench and runs my 3D printer.
