  Thank you to the NBN/Optus for restoring my internet connection at full speed. For the past 2 months it was working at woeful speeds. I was initially told it was a problem at my end 3 times but it seems the complaining from my end caused action for them to investigate and fix.

  @Sauronlordking If there is one thing I didn't mind from the ALP that would be the NBN in its original form. Then this idiot came around and mutilated it into his own little mixed up mess. That now has to be unraveled at even more expense!!!

  @robb_j_m Live out bush and had Satelite NBN - absolute crap - $89 pm. Telstra signal - absolute crap - $74 - 50Gig - pm. Swapped - Starlink - perfect internet and wifi calling - $139 pm - unlimited. Downgraded sim card to a cheap telstra operator - $25 pm. So total internet and phone went from $163 to $164 pm. That extra $1 quadrupled the speed and reception!

  @TheJawnzz @robb_j_m You were on a **** deal you can get 100mb/s NBN for $500/year. Shop around, look for deals.

  @robb_j_m NBN is unreliable in my area. I have Starlink $139 AUD per month Starlink is the only reliable service here

  @grave0x @robb_j_m AFAIK There is no "free roll out" of FTTP. If you are on an FTTN network the homeowner has the "choice" to fork out money for the property to be upgraded to FTTP. If you are on the Coax/HFC network you are **** out of luck as the best NBN can do is try increase line bandwidth

  @cjoye Sell the NBN? Yeah because when we sold the electricity network, that worked out well for prices. Bringing CGT in line with tax on wages is going to be one of the fairest tax decisions made. Nothing will change otherwise businesses would have left for a tax haven already.

  @venteaVT My house has starlink, runs at about 160 mbps at best and it’s like 3x faster than the nbn at my parents house, Australian wifi is so bad
