  This is the argument for the #NBN few predicted: 1) Spend lots of money to build a national broadband network. 2) Spend even more money to make it Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) by default. 3) Private competitor pops up and offers comparable service, in more geographies, with zero Australian govt money. ....But where some are now (4a) Private competitor drives out public investment (4b) Private competitor CEO becomes hyper-partisan & divisive AND THEN (4c) They decide to use almost-monopoly power to hold citizens hostage with price increases. Kevin07 may have saved us, even if he didn't know it at the time.

  Chifley established the PBS. Whitlam built Medibank. Keating started national superannuation. Hawke dumped tariffs to help Aussie farmers & their exports. Rudd built the NBN. Gillard built the NDIS. So, what exactly DID the LNP do in all those years??

  @Hector_Herrick @Antiwoke7777 @OMGTheMess We had problems with our fibre-to-the curb NBN. their tech discovered that our old copper line was still connected to the exchange, and that was interfering with the copper line from the fibre to the house. Disconnected the old exchange line, and all was well.

  Thats ok Country Australia doesn't move so fast Nor seem to be in a rush to adopt NBN, Or Starlink... Oh Hang on Smart farming seems to be quite the, In thing Out in the bush Question is Which robotic company will be filling Labor shortages first

  Im liking league of dreamers books oh man...this is bad. I hope they do more free option event tbh but then again their choices is relatively cheaper but still. Law of the Beast is having a free play event and im loving it! I only downloaded LOD for NBN but now hhhh

  @kr0der Fair call, I’m from Melbourne, I’m a streamer so reliable internet is literally key for me lol… losing $100s each day. It’s been an issue for the last 4 days and they can’t send anyone from NBN out until Monday unfortunately. But they know it is on NBNs side, so that’s a start..

  @Telstra When are you getting us a cell tower @Telstra?? This is dangerous! NBN connections are so bad we had to sign up for Opticomm, which until today, was awesome. But an all day outage and I'm working from my car.

  @NationalFarmers @NBN_Australia @AlboMP Guess how much we spent on the ten base stations on the ground? An eye watering amount that is symptomatic of the grift that went into the building of the network. We *should* have an inquiry. We probably won't bother though.
