It is completely unacceptable that NBN Co has a 48–72 hour response time for faults and issues. Power, water, and other utilities aren't this bad, so the internet wholesaler needs to be held to a higher standard.

@CroweDM Good article. U may also mention reason for return of serve Budget hand grenade- b4 2013 election ALP rammed thru NDIS without any Budget offsets & now as it races up to $90bn pa PROBLEM As well, unfunded (but admittedly off-Budget NBN) was ALP creation without cost-benefit work

@ken_killcare @miriamcosic I switched from NBN to @Telstra 5G Home Internet. Typical downloads of 400-600Mbps! The problem is the 1TB cap! One hour of Netflix uses about 5.5GB. I always hit 1TB within the first 12 days of the billing month. Solution? NBN for streaming. 5G for the thrill of it. Lol.

Have to switch back to NBN FTTB after being on wireless broadband. Wireless was better but it became too problematic with dropouts - something about maintenance on the 4G network towers, etc.* :( *outside of my area of expertise

@Sandra_Sully Wish you success Sandra. Seems like it's a race to the bottom with Tel Cos. Also how can Australia's NBN still be below par. (Optus customer here. Very minimal info after breach.)

@MikeCarlton01 I had one of those in the 90s supplied by Telstra for a new installation. At least they worked not like modern phones that rely upon the Coalition Government’s failed No Bloody Network (NBN).

@TheRealPBarry Go to internode. We have been a customer since it’s development yrs ago in Adelaide . Started by nerds at one of the universities here . Big storm blew out the NBN box last week . Internode had it sorted in less than 24hrs. A seriously fantastic service. Now a huge company.
