@Cazarellee There may be a wireless link in there. Rain affects "line of sight" from tower to tower. Wind slighly moves towers, fog & seamist affect LoS. This is only partly why wireless should never have been part of the NBN and backbone networks.

@markhumphries @james007_300 The words “connection charges”by NBN is at best an alternate truth.Their cable is inside all the dwellings so that they can sell internet access.They then need to flick the switch in their NOC or “provision” so that service provider like Optus can retail the services.

@NBN_Australia NBN is a literal joke, I gotta call telstra report a fault, then they gotta confirm its a NBN issue then THEY gotta contact NBN cause apparently I cannot, to then only have NBN do some test on their end and say everything is fine when im dcing EVERY NIGHT !!!

@NBN_Australia Wait till Starlink becomes affordable and you won't exist anymore. Starlink came in because Aus has one of the worst speeds of internet provided by you. Embarrassing I get 5mbps down on FTTN. How much useless can you be??

@markhumphries The $300 is a grift on part of NBN. If the solution of fibre to premises had been completed then there would be no excuse for it. But NBN is charging exhorbitant amounts for connection. And most of the time it’s just to switch it on for a new tenant without any actual engineering

Just an FYI for Aussies. There is a new NBN Co scam going about. They'll ring you off a mobile phone number and ask you to upgrade to the lastest "Speed Plan". Reminder that NBN Co is a wholesaler and will not/does not offer plans or speed upgrades. Just hang up.
