@stevol321 @joshystuart @MrKRudd then it wouldn't be charging the extraordinary sums it is to fix now, as the copper network is so outdated, and falling apart... When I had an NBN contractor come out to hook up my place, he showed me the mess of cables under the ground, and just how bodged together it is...

  • sgleonsaval Sergio G. Leon-Saval (@sgleonsaval) reported

@BelongAU a phone line, since @BelongAU doesn't pick up the customer support line. Maybe calling from three different ones at once may help. I need a NBN box in my house since the previous owner took it away, Ive been paying off for service for 8 days and no box, cannot get them on phone.

  • BelongAU Belong (@BelongAU) reported

@butsandcats Hi Buts 👋 thanks for reaching out. If you're staying at the same place and switching provider they should have no issue taking over the line by requesting a transfer order with nbn. If you still need a hand just flick us a DM and we can check your existing case 🤓 -Rhys

  • butsandcats Buts (@butsandcats) reported

@BelongAU , My new ISP is unable to make a connection to NBN at my new address because you have a connection already. I already cancelled my service with you but it appears to order to NBN is still open. Could you please cancel it for me.

  • YRN_Australia Yellow Rock Networks (@YRN_Australia) reported

Day 4 with absolutely no internet connectivity on NBN's FTTN. In parts of @stemplemanmp's electorate, the pits which "protect" the copper cables and joints are full of water and not draining. If only there was a solution to the decrepit remnants of the obsolete copper network...

  • LadySpookaria Lady Spookaria (collabs closed) (@LadySpookaria) reported

Proof the NBN is two tin cans powered by emus. No stream today everyone because I won't be able to connect due to the internet outage & if I can, it would be worse than usual. FFS

  • skyalin CinNoWriMo (@skyalin) reported

@yaleman43381258 At least if it were actually NBN the TIO would give a ****.

  • mary_glass MARY GLASS (@mary_glass) reported

@Telstra @NBN_Australia can you please investigate what is going on with inconsistencies in the connection in Maylands WA, Ferguson Street/Sherwood Street. For the past 4 weeks it constantly drops in and out. Has anyone reported this issue?

  • CryptoAus4 CryptoAus (@CryptoAus4) reported

@baegle527 Just make sure you are connecting to the right internet socket in the wall. I had the same problem cause the router otherwise defaults to 3G instead of nbn and gets ****** up. Try changing the socket ,restart and give it a try

  • Kermitron kermi (@Kermitron) reported

@Telstra After speaking with tech support last night we switched the modem to 4G backup. Apparently there’s NBN maintenance happening tonight so we’ll test it again in the morning.
