    I’m thankful I have NBN Fibre but even with that I will never use cloud gaming. why would the local computing die anyway? This AI craze will die quicker than the computer. Phones and laptops still need to be need built. What’s going to stop is that PCs will no longer be cheap

    @news_australian None stuffed NBN. Many farmers still have very little service, look at how much snowy 2 has and is continuing to cost.

    @TFyrd49376 @TobiSkovron Labor introduced the NDIS, LNP messed with it. Like a long list of things introduced by Labor, the LNP screws with it and we are forced to endure the **** show that follows. NBN? LNP screwed it so hard it cost 3x as much for inferior infrastructure.

    @robb_j_m Outside the urban centres, $139 a month for Starlink. NBN for me was a slow and expensive skymuster satellite. Thanks Elon.

    @GamewithDave The only network connected devices I own are my Windows desktop PC, my HMD Pulse+ Android phone, my ISP-provided TP-Link router and my ISP-provided NBN FTTC NCD modem. I refuse to buy any of the "smart" crap.

    @robb_j_m Starlink. A satellite connection through the NBN in our rural area was a bit of a nightmare. Starlink is reliable, no limits on usage, and we never get throttled. I'll never go back.

    This should NEVER happen. We have written to the federal minister and the NBN objecting to this and to clarify their total expenditure here. This data was all procured directly from the SCA 2026 Conference Sponsorship website page. (7/7)
