But my tablet device is non cellular. It runs like a dream off my modem but the modem cannot connect. There is a telephone connection but no NBN response.

Diane Valli (@Howzatdiane) reported from Busselton, Western Australia@fjkelly666 I was hit back and forth like a tennis ball between my isp and nbn. I emailed the Telecommications Ombudsman at 1030pm WA time. Awoke to a reply a couple of hrs later a call from the isp customer service. Good luck.

Paul Galea (@VK4PWG) reported@TopherField I tried for 6 months to get my faulty NBN fixed (FTTN - copper/xdsl for the last 0.9km). NBN blamed the retailer who blamed NBN. I gave up and put in Starlink and have never looked back (4 years ago). NBN dug up the street 2 years ago to install fibre to the premises - I have a pit at the boundary of my property. My property is marked as 'NBN Ready'. Problem is that they never actaully pulled any fibre in the street !! The NBN is a huge scam.

ExtremelyDevious(coms open) (@ExtremelyDevio1) reported@TopherField the NBNs answer to not being able to lay fiber down and close gaps was to ***** fixed wireless towers for land to land satelite, for which each tower probably services on average like, 500 people, according to what the NBN told me anyway.

The GFC was an American housing crisis that had very little to to do with us. The pandemic was an over reaction. They've blown the lot. Money wasted with zero return on investment. Both parties are responsible for this mess and all I see for the future is higher unemployment and a low currency. It's going to be a double whammy. We are already in a per capita recession. The country needs some serious reform and it needs it right now..
