    @MichelleKHarper yay!! NBN is finally connected & working. We’re back online after 5 weeks of no internet & hotspotting our iPhones. That’s pretty good service, you’ll never match that in Canada 😊

    Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

    @MichelleKHarper You won’t believe it. NBN won’t work, none of the troubleshooting worked, now will need to make an appointment for a technician to sort out the problem. Bonus; old internet connection now disconnected so we have no internet access at all #KillMeNow 😕

    @NBN_Australia Cable has not been made safe other than to coil the two ends up. Damage is a copper cable running from the telecom pit in the street to my house and it's an FTTC type connection. Tried to phone NBN and got told it was a provider issue, provider's first date to come out is 17/6.

    @Telstra The wireless nbn is not working, says it can’t get mobile coverage. Phones are also only 1 bar and extremely slow. Takes 5 minutes to load Twitter / everything.

    So. Our ISP apparently decided today was the best day to show their utter incompetence. My upload dipped from 18MB/s, all the way to 1.5MB/s, which is what I had before we got NBN. I won't ask my viewers to watch pixelated garbage, so I've cancelled for today. Sorry guys.

    Why does @NBN_Australia not have disaster recovery plans for simple power outages? I've invested thousands in emergency power, they've apparently invested zero. The local pizza shop was up and running on a generator within 24hrs ffs.

    @dawesi impacted, and many infrastructure sites throughout the state are currently running on battery back-up. nbn is currently deploying generators to affected areas to support ongoing network operations and will dispatch technicians to restore services 2/3

    Kudos to @NBN_Australia Was having internet troubles (upload speed of 0.2 Mbs, which was very bad for sending emails with attachments). Technician came at the appointed time, climbed up a telegraph pole to replace a rusted and corroded part, everything now good as gold.

    The problem isn't that Medicare needs multiple changes. It's that Medicare was a Labor initiative, inevitably! LNP, reactively once again, but once again, as with so many reactions ie. the NBN rollout, superannuation, etc. , determined to destroy what sticks in their craw!
