    Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

    @MichelleKHarper You won’t believe it. NBN won’t work, none of the troubleshooting worked, now will need to make an appointment for a technician to sort out the problem. Bonus; old internet connection now disconnected so we have no internet access at all #KillMeNow 😕

    @MichelleKHarper yay!! NBN is finally connected & working. We’re back online after 5 weeks of no internet & hotspotting our iPhones. That’s pretty good service, you’ll never match that in Canada 😊

    @NBN_Australia Appreciate your response! Strange the actual service provider passes the buck. Currently forced to mobile with better speeds! If you have a direct portal to Telstra so I don’t have to go through the long wait process that would be helpful!

    @Riogallica @nbn @Starlink The only problem with starlink is they can put the price up any time they feel, I was with them 2 months and they upped the price. If you want to go elsewhere in under 12 months you have to pay for the hardware, around $500 I think. Having said that, the service is ok.

    When that idiot Rudd committed to spending $Billions on the NBN I said it was a waste of $. If it made sense a private co would've done it. It may had made sense in the big cities but that's it. It's obsolete.

    @roberts_pa97578 I’d never use @telstra - the experiences I had with them as a network consultant for clients were atrocious - their NBN implementations/installations/services were pathetic

    @moffat14 @TopherField You do know it was the Libs that ****** it up. Labour started the process and as soon as the Libs got in, they put the handbrakes on it and started all this NBN node ****. Fine to blame governments but at least blame the right one

    i’d say that Starlink is pretty close to competing with NBN at home for $75 a month 100 MB per second that’s not too bad. We pay $110 a month for 500 MB per second at home. We usually get about 175. To answer your question a comparable plan in Malaysia is about 55 Aussie dollars so it doesn’t quite compare

    @JakeTurx It sounds like you have the same issues to negotiate. American Yeshivish is not Israeli Charedi. Prices are high. And so on. Demanding that others change for you will go nowhere. If you're ready for the move, call NBN and get the ball rolling. 6/6

    If governments are serious about letting people work from home, they really need to ensure that the NBN is up to standard. Currently experiencing our 2nd major outage in 2 weeks. Not good enough @NBN_Australia #nswpol #auspol
