  Dear @Optus it’s been a good 25 years. But, you’re testing us on our changeover to @NBN_Australia Still no internet & 3 no show tech appointments to connect our FTTC so far. Tired of waiting for a tech who never turns up. Now considering what other options are available to us 😕

  @MichelleKHarper You won’t believe it. NBN won’t work, none of the troubleshooting worked, now will need to make an appointment for a technician to sort out the problem. Bonus; old internet connection now disconnected so we have no internet access at all #KillMeNow 😕

  @MichelleKHarper yay!! NBN is finally connected & working. We’re back online after 5 weeks of no internet & hotspotting our iPhones. That’s pretty good service, you’ll never match that in Canada 😊

  @NBN_Australia Appreciate your response! Strange the actual service provider passes the buck. Currently forced to mobile with better speeds! If you have a direct portal to Telstra so I don’t have to go through the long wait process that would be helpful!

  @Riogallica @nbn @Starlink The only problem with starlink is they can put the price up any time they feel, I was with them 2 months and they upped the price. If you want to go elsewhere in under 12 months you have to pay for the hardware, around $500 I think. Having said that, the service is ok.

  @BrentHodgson What's more interest in is the land mines left by a government. The education reforms from RGR, NDIS RGR, NBN RGR just 3 that spring to mind. Abbott should have smashed them all up and we would be in a much better place now with cut down versions. That alone over 10 years must be $500bn.

  Waiting for nbn person to fix my internet. Has been down for over 2 weeks. Today my provider will take $$$ from my account to pay for internet i haven't been able to access. Capitalism is a beautiful thing BTW other countries fix stuff on the day but hey, oi oi oi oi

  Update. Dodos from NBN came back to tell me it’s my fault and nothing to do with them. Well! Problem solved. It will not be because of them come Thursday, Starlink install day.

  Ummm. I don’t mean to be “that guy” but, has anyone else noticed that the #EmergencyAlert test seems to have, ya know, crashed the internet in Australia? #NBN is down everywhere. Phone internet seems to be okay. This could get interesting.

  Still sans @NBN_Australia They came out Monday, identified the issue & refused to fix it. Told them that I was over them & that I'll be signing up with @Starlink Looking forward to receiving my kit from Starlink soon. Hotspotting with my @Telstra mobile is 1/2 speed of a snail. Painful much. Going crazy. Don't need this stress.

  @TopherField I'm in regional Victoria and there's NBN fixed wireless, someone has to come to your home, drill holes and install cables and a antenna on the roof that's if you are in line of sight of the tower, it is slow, people around me have just got Starlink instead, it's a game changer
