  • Namecheap Namecheap.com (@Namecheap) reported

@ffforward You can send the report to support[at]namecheap[dot]com directly, and we will make sure to forward it to the corresponding team.

  • realstockforum KNoah (@realstockforum) reported

Imagine having 6 domains that you are working on branding redirecting to a sketchy, third party e-commerce website. Notice 3-6 months later. #namecheap I am so disappointed in your services that I will be promptly moving domains elsewhere. 3 year customer. Gone.

  • Arena_RO Arena Ragnarok onlin (@Arena_RO) reported

@3nitynetworks @Namecheap hello can you fix my server its stop today

  • jaseytech Jasey #Salesforce (@jaseytech) reported

@Namecheap I would, but when I try to contact live support or open a ticket, I get a CAPTCHA pop-up asking if I’m human- when I attempt to click that I am, it brings up a picture puzzle thing that if I click, it closes and enters into a loop

  • derekslenk Derek Slenk (@derekslenk) reported

@Namecheap I did. It was faster to use your live support to change the glue records than your website...I really don't think it should be that way.

  • killcrit CackleTV (@killcrit) reported

@Namecheap no, i shopped elsewhere, but if you want me to get ahold of your technical and design department, I can show you how to develop a login system that is proper and pleasant. of course i wont be pleasant to them, calling them retards and idiots

  • GusYounis Gus Younis (@GusYounis) reported

I've seen a lot of GoDaddy ads in Arabic on YouTube recently. If you're new to the online business, don't use them. I was their client for about 10yrs and I always had problems. Use @Namecheap instead, way much better

  • netsolcares Network Solutions (@netsolcares) reported

@greenwireIT @Namecheap @Cloudflare @GoDaddy You would need to call into our support or submit an authenticated support ticket through you account manager to enable two factor authentication, correct. You may receive an offer on a product if it is possible that you can benefit from it.

  • BanannaP BanannaPudding (@BanannaP) reported

@tarochan_is_me @HikariX86 Looks like Hikari's domain is registered with Namecheap, I recommend them too! Whatever you do, never get anything from GoDaddy. You can google why. In short they are awful. Also, double-check renewal prices. Some TLDs have very cheap 1st year, e.g. $2/y, but renewal is $50/y.

  • netsolcares Network Solutions (@netsolcares) reported

@greenwireIT @Namecheap @Cloudflare @GoDaddy Network Solutions does currently offer two factor authentication. If you would like to set this up on your account, please contact our support team at 1-800-333-7680.

  • alanajoy ΛJ 🤜🏾🤛🏻 (@alanajoy) reported

@mediatemplehelp @Namecheap has confirmed that the DNS has fully propagated yet the site is still showing the media temple account login page upon landing instead of allowing me to complete my WordPress install. Your response is appreciated.

  • HAMAD_ALQASAR Hamad (@HAMAD_ALQASAR) reported

@firebird1409 @x0_1372 @masonasons @jaybird110127 @nikola_stojsic yep, namecheap can help, but more better to use a vps server for mail and other stuff. also you can use freenom to get a free domain for 12 months. and you can pay 5 dollars per months to digitalocean, or less with other vps hosting for a server. or use with your localhost.

  • vincemalfeo Vince Malfeo (@vincemalfeo) reported

@SolitaryMindset @HGSupport @HostGator @Namecheap Let me know how Namecheap goes...I'm so tired of Hostgator. Have 2 accounts here, chat support is worthless. Phone support is a little better but still...people working there are not knowledgable of technical issues and just Google answers.

  • dipowo Ladi (@dipowo) reported

@Namecheap guys, my company's email system on your server isn't working. We can't send or receive email. Kindly fix up pls.

  • MalliardReport The Malliard Report (@MalliardReport) reported

@Namecheap its not worth digging back tho. I am hoping this is the last time... I feel tech support was unhelpful... hard to believe you don't have supervisors or a phone number to call and speak to someone. I fixed with google search results since your tech team kept sharing the same link

  • Yon_Delonge BukanOrangBaik (@Yon_Delonge) reported

@Namecheap I can't log in because I lost my Google Authenticator and backup code, but email support and live chat have no response

  • dfravel Dave Fravel (@dfravel) reported

@NameCheapCEO thanks so much, Richard. I was almost positive that this was a registry issue, and not @Namecheap's doing. I appreciate you confirming that.

  • JuliyaZinovjeva Juliya Zinovjeva (@JuliyaZinovjeva) reported

@reallogointern @NameCheapCEO @Namecheap My apologies for the inconvenience. I've passed this case to our Head of Customer Support, you should get a response from her within an hour or so.

  • kadi_akb KaDi Yao Tay (@kadi_akb) reported

    Namecheap support is the bomb!

  • salesas Me (@salesas) reported

@Namecheap I think that without removing the limits it’s impossible to move from Google. While O365 doesn’t support the “+” it does allow effectively unlimited aliases (though the + is a killer feature).

  • smakosh Smakosh (@smakosh) reported

I'm open sourcing @beafappdotcom code source soon & shutting it down, it's almost a year now: - Learned a ton - 51 users signed up - 0 revenue - paid $60/year for @digitalocean droplet - paid $14 for the domain name on @Namecheap - Paid $0 for deploying the frontene on @Netlify

  • Jaxidian Shane Milton ☁️ (@Jaxidian) reported

@NameCheapCEO @Namecheap A ticket has been submitted with all of the details you asked for and that the abuse support ticket form requested: #YET-525-81528

  • NameCheapCEO Richard Kirkendall (@NameCheapCEO) reported

@Jaxidian @Namecheap Shane, would you mind going to our support and sharing all the headers etc. so we can investigate this for you. Please refer to this conversation when you do. I apologize for the inconvenience here. We'd like to look deeper into this. Thanks.

  • wanderingburley Papa Moose (@wanderingburley) reported

@BearlyDoug @Dynadot I've been using Namecheap for a bit, their UI is good, they have a decent DNS service free WHOIS protection and support MFA. I'll def check out Dynadot though. You always have good recommendations 👍

  • Arktronic Sasha R. K. (@Arktronic) reported

I stopped using Namecheap a while ago because of shit like this - and them not caring.

  • codemonkeyism Stephan Schmidt 🚀 (@codemonkeyism) reported

Looks like @Namecheap has major problems, I get a lot of errors when editing DNS settings.

  • chrisrouse chris (@chrisrouse) reported

Really struggling with @Namecheap’s support team today. I don’t feel like they’re listening to me. They used to be a lot easier to work with, now it feels extremely scripted.

  • 3ndG4me_ 3ndG4me (@3ndG4me_) reported

@spiceywasabi @Namecheap @wrccdc Nope either use “@“ or “proper” sub domain in ya syntax, no full TLDs. Ran into a similar issue when setting my new domain the other day 😬 you’re not alone lol

  • gdfbacchus Jacob Spookt (@gdfbacchus) reported

@BoomerGroyp9000 @PaleoconR I recommend Namecheap over Godaddy... Had some serious issues with Godaddy and apparently many other people have too. Namecheap is similarly priced and way better.

@Namecheap Another browser/internet connection doesn't fix a 500 error, that's your end. And your payment system not working. Think I'll just go elsewhere.

  • josharcher Josh Archer (@josharcher) reported

@duplikey @Namecheap They're definitely having problems. @Namecheap site just returns 500 errors right now.

  • 3ndG4me_ 3ndG4me (@3ndG4me_) reported

@spiceywasabi @Namecheap Had a weird issue today where a TXT record updated almost immediately everywhere but took a solid 20 minutes for Google DNS to pick it up. Was the strangest delay. DNS is never one to be consistent mind you, but that one was abnormal since it seemed to be every where but Google.

@bigtt76 I see you making allowances for this, but I'll remind you that sending receipts is also an automated process. And every OTHER service I use (from DigitalOcean to Namecheap/WhoGoHost to Medium to Deezer to Spotify, sigh, and counting...!) sends a mf receipt.

  • VerzuOG Verzu (@VerzuOG) reported

@ItzAssassinYt @ItsIceYT_ @sgopxela @DeveloperCole You actually did steal the domain off my namecheap account lmao should've never trusted you with access  thats my mistake

  • firebird1409 optimal-jigsaw (@firebird1409) reported

@masonasons namecheap allows you to buy monthly service for $5.99 I think. They do up to 3 years pricing which is $2 a month.

  • ladiadejumo Oladipo Adejumo (@ladiadejumo) reported

Hi @Namecheap, as a loyal customer (7 years and counting) I set up an account for my client, had funds deposited and paid for domain and and hosting account. For some reason, your system flagged the transaction as fraudulent and issued a ticket. I have since responded.

  • KaBob799 KaBob (@KaBob799) reported

@Namecheap @bluehost Looks like the issue must have been that transferring a domain somehow force-updated my websites to php7 with no option to change back. Dunno how that works.

  • LoudChris Loud Chris (@LoudChris) reported

@perculia Namecheap will, let me poke a few people and I will get back to you. DMCA claim should cover content of the site as well (think people who register domains that are slight variants and basically host the same content with more adds, the get taken down daily and its like like this

  • hirokonishimura Hiro ☁️ #HIROBYTES 🎧 Podcast (@hirokonishimura) reported

@mikegcoleman @joshuaseattle @awsnewbies @Namecheap Seems like my biggest issue is not feeling confident in my ability to migrate WordPress instance over to another host in general, so if that part can get figured out, then I'd be able to move it around in a jiffy. 🤣
