@BorrisInABox @Simon818 @Namecheap The shopping cart doesn't have a landmark or heading to indicate its presence, it simply exists below the last seaarch result. It's a simple fix that didn't warrant getting an overlay.

  • BorrisInABox Patrick Perdue™ (@BorrisInABox) reported

@Simon818 @jackf723 @Namecheap What is/was broken about it, anyway? It seems pretty OK with #AccessiBlock.

  • megarush1024 ((( Amanda ))) (@megarush1024) reported

@BorrisInABox Let me know who you end up going with. I'm going to hate this whole up-to-6-week registrar change thing but at this point I'm totally willing to do it unless Namecheap drops that damn overlay double-quick.

  • Simon818 Simon J (@Simon818) reported

@BorrisInABox @jackf723 @Namecheap This is basically where I am. For me, the plugin doesn't even work because of ... whatever they've done to it. If you can't even bother testing your own implementation, go away. It genuinely would have been faster and cheaper to fix the site.

  • caseyloeber Casey Loeber 🚗 (@caseyloeber) reported

@seanmarkey Been doing that slowly over the last year or so. Namecheap is always coming up with new stuff and customer service is great. Can’t say the same for Godaddy

  • ezdraft Plausible Deniability (@ezdraft) reported

@Namecheap what is wrong with your service? I can’t chat? My website is down, email verification is not working? Cheap is right!

  • BTCVlad Vlad (@BTCVlad) reported

@DNand04934450 @eckhaus @DomainingCom NameCheap - "We do not lock or disable customer domains on a whim without the correct legal requirement.” means with the court order from India, they will. Let's see how this plays out.

  • meekeebee Mike (@meekeebee) reported

@Namecheap Do you have a policy about fraudulent websites using your hosting and domain service? Identified a fake Cryptomining investment website using NameCheap to lure investors. DM for details

  • ahnlak A Leaf On The Wind 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@ahnlak) reported

@adamcooke @Namecheap @publicbenefituk You were definitely on the shortlist (not least given your position in this Nominet trainwreck!) - I confess I was a little put off by how often "just contact support..." appeared in your FAQ, although rationally I accept that's mostly for stuff I should resist needing anyway!

  • LE_WDStudio LE Studio (@LE_WDStudio) reported

@Namecheap BTW, #OneClickRecovery, that is what I tried to find in your service packages, are there other #OneClickrecovery service except #EasyWP? Looking forward to your fill in.

  • DeviceCoders Device Coders Inc. (@DeviceCoders) reported

Another #inconvenience from the folks at @Namecheap - 2FA is OFF but guess what, you still have to do 2FA. Because of course the customer doesn't have the brain capacity to determine if 2FA is appropriate or not. Ugh. Every task with you people is extra.

  • mfairchild365 Michael 🧐 Fairchild (@mfairchild365) reported

@ChanceyFleet @Namecheap @morning_song I manage my domains through them and brought this to their attention months ago. I gave them time to respond and fix the issue but have heard zero progress. I guess I’ll just have to take my business elsewhere.

  • GlennPegden Glenn Pegden - ☎️📟💾 Ⓗằ⒞𝓴𝗘ṝ (@GlennPegden) reported

@fluepke @JohnnyDankseeds @ErrataRob I agree it should be down to the host, not the registrar, but namecheap do both

  • samspearsevans Sam Evans, CAE (she/her) (@samspearsevans) reported

@Namecheap @ChanceyFleet @morning_song Someone signed a contract. That should be pretty easy to nail down. Hey keepers of our contracts, who signed this agreement? There you go! Start with marketing, website management, and if it was IT you have a whole other problem.

  • robdudley Rob Dudley (@robdudley) reported

Hey @Namecheap , I reported a blatantly fraudulent site to you weeks ago and it's still online trying to con people out of their $$$. Any chance you can take a look and maybe take it down?

  • gianmerced Gian Merced 🇵🇷 (@gianmerced) reported

@dbinkowski @Namecheap @bluehost Never heard of that registrar. What made you go with them?

  • MustardSeedUK Brian Johnson (@MustardSeedUK) reported

@parttimepriest 100% scam. That domain is registered via NameCheap via a proxy service in Panama. Nowt to do with Royal Mail.

  • human19_be Ash (@human19_be) reported

@Namecheap Help me to file a police complaint to recover the fund here with #Canada 's @BurnabyRCMP

  • AgoristView Jeffrey Swann PhD in things likely illegal (@AgoristView) reported

Hey @Namecheap I would pay my bill in #BTC (& probably buy even more URLs that I don’t really need) if you guys were set up to accept Lightning transactions... I’m sure I know some people who can help

  • ForTombstone ForTombstone (@ForTombstone) reported

@sj_coder @replit Freenom have a very bad business model, and policies. You shouldn't use them. Though you can get a cheap domain from a service like Namecheap though. It's pretty cheap.

  • adam_greenough Adam Greenough (@adam_greenough) reported

    @Namecheap £400 for a .FORUM, that sucks 🥴

  • ChanceyFleet Chancey Fleet 🌈👩‍🦯 (@ChanceyFleet) reported

@Namecheap @morning_song Please flag it for whoever that team reports to, then. #AccessiBe is breaking access on your site, and creating a legal and PR liability for you. You're losing subscribers and customer trust. Your site was accessible before #AccessiBe sold you a defective product.

  • lisa1358209236 Lisa13 (@lisa1358209236) reported

    Namecheap domain name help #namecheap#customerservice

  • lisa1358209236 Lisa13 (@lisa1358209236) reported

@Namecheap @RadixRegistry I have had business for years I am unable to get any customer service help I cannot verify my new email I have been emailing for hours#namecheap#refusehelp#can anyone help

  • ed_edwardson Steve (@ed_edwardson) reported

@Namecheap @ChanceyFleet @morning_song The solution is simple. Until #AccessiBe correct the documented problems with their overlay, remove it. You were made aware of these problems months ago. As in, before November. We shouldn’t have to employ domain filters on our machines just to use your services.

  • ChanceyFleet Chancey Fleet 🌈👩‍🦯 (@ChanceyFleet) reported

@Namecheap @morning_song Your site doesn't work with the #AccessiBe overlay: it's not an "inconvenience" but a discriminatory denial of service to Blind customers. Please treat this as urgent and disable the overlay or offer a path to avoiding it. At least please escalate this to your PM!

  • morning_song Melissa Roe (@morning_song) reported

@ChanceyFleet #Accessibe ias not been a pleasant experience over all. I struggle to use the namecheap website, and I had to cancel my account at Podbean for several reasons, including difficulty in accessing my dashboard due to #Accessibe's existance. I couldn't disable it at all.

  • bryanmordt Bryan Mordt (@bryanmordt) reported

@Namecheap @RadixRegistry Horrible company to deal with. Locked out of my account and lost access to two of my business domain names. After 20 plus emails with customer support my login issues are still not resolved. Buyer beware. 👎👎👎

  • iHeartMalware Ronnie 'BEC' TacoCatSki (@iHeartMalware) reported

@Namecheap @pleasantgreen Stop wasting my time with the "we don't do things over social media." @pleasantgreen made a video describing the fraud. Done. I pointed out the fraud and it's your choice to accept the risk and continue hosting fraud on your infrastructure, not mine. Fix your ****.

  • syndk8 Earl Grey (@syndk8) reported
