@BrandAlready @Namecheap One of the poor experience I also had was when I tried extending renewal to one of my names that was already registered with them since last year. I couldn’t get it done, it also came up with this 💬 icon and I was forced to transfer the domain out. Imagine if its about to expire

Quite disappointed with the significant delays and lost emails I've had since using @Namecheap's email forwarding service. Looks like corners cut and a degraded and inconsistent service offered. They seem to ignore customer tickets about this too. Best avoided. :(

@Boringstein Shout out namecheap, for now you could set up a redirect to the archived site but I'll take a look in the morning since I'm in bed and pinned down by cats

Now @Namecheap claims the reason for their incredibly poor response time is: "Please note that every time you send us a message your ticket goes to the end of the queue, this is how the support system works." Wow, what a brilliant system.

@DThompsonDev Currently I'm thinking on creating a site like the one that you're talking about, but the biggest problem with me is my location, that being said I think that @Namecheap or @Netlify offer good solutions. Also a question, did u recommend github pages for doing this?

@Namecheap @openathens @Namecheap seen from past attacks from the SL group(s) the url will be something like /login.openathens.net.libip.me/auth/edu-dns The edu-dns is the tricky part because the SL can target all OpenAthens customers that way with spear phishing mails against the customers.

@Namecheap support is really bad. I didn't know until I needed them. I have been locked out of my domains since early April. Despite having been a customer for nearly 20 years, the staff at @Namecheap couldn't care less.

@Namecheap suggested me to get manual approval from support before I could handreg a #Crypto based domain, because they thought it could contain abusive phrase(s). Although I kindof understood what could have triggered this, it was in reality no way abusing anything. Weird! 🥴

@Namecheap @dalgato I emailed you the DMCA complaint that my intellectual property attorney created. He said, by law, you have to take down all plagiarized content on that website you host, after receiving my email. According to ReadNotify, you read it. I see the site is still up.

@Hey__tx @Namecheap @coinbase I also suspect the vast majority of their users are "normies" who have never heard of handshake My guess is the reported sales by Richard of 10K was significantly inflating the truth - otherwise he wouldn't be so keen to drive us out of business ... and he's trying VERY hard

@Namecheap @iambrainland Examplifying stuff helps understanding. You can examplify without revealing details about specific cases. It boils down to if you want to help customers understand your policy or to get hammered with it seemingly without reason.

Olawale Isaac Odejide
(@iambrainland) reported
@BrandAlready @Namecheap They need to be clear about the said policy and help end users understand better.
