Microsoft Azure Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
  • StevenTheTanned Steven Tan (@StevenTheTanned) reported

@AakashMasand @Azure I've found that restarting my modem seems to remediate this problem by introducing another problem!

  • dandiep Dan Diephouse (@dandiep) reported

It is unbelievably annoying that in @Azure you can't rename any resources - things evolve damn it, and names need to reflect that.

  • repostexchange RepostExchange (@repostexchange) reported

@AzureSupport @Azure @digitalocean Sent over the subscription details, plus extra info from @digitalocean that seems to point to a routing issue meaning traffic between LON1 at digitalocean, and your UK South is going via Emirates Telecommunications, in Dubai

  • affirmedsystems AffirmedSystems (@affirmedsystems) reported

Azure's HORRIBLE backup service got us fired from a customer. not ready for prime time.. the way you have to mount a drive to restore files, and it disconnects you every so many days - game over. customer is re-migrating the on premise servers to AWS! @Azure @AzureSupport 😡

  • cloud586 Jon Kasperan (@cloud586) reported

@ij_learnforever @Azure Apparently issue with one or more of their clusters in South Central US. Not able to allocate resources for some of my VM's this morning. In addition, they are still not accepting any increases on quotas still.

  • balduz84 Silvio Balduzzi (@balduz84) reported

@gmercatante @Azure I love this solution ... but I think there is only one small problem: the lack of linearity of the user experience. Your browser jumps between many links with different graphics. I'm afraid a basic user may be confused.

  • InvokeCloud INVOKE Cloud (@InvokeCloud) reported

@AzureSupport @satyanadella @Azure We submitted an issue with Market Place listing, it went through 4 different people/team before it reached the triage state. Not first time, this is the consistent loop for every issue we submitted so far.

  • InvokeCloud INVOKE Cloud (@InvokeCloud) reported

@AzureSupport Our experience: "efficient yet inefficient". One issue goes through at least 4/5 different teams before we get any answer. @satyanadella @Azure

  • feffreyalsup Arachnephobia (@feffreyalsup) reported

@XboxSupport I need help I am unable to play my game rainbow six siege due to @Azure servers keep getting Ddossed Players are stressing the server to avoid a loss. I have video proof @Ubisoft @Rainbow6Game doesn't want to do anything about these Ddossing cheating

  • reloadsoftware Dave Roberts (@reloadsoftware) reported

@AzureSupport @Azure @awscloud I wasn't made aware of this process, I contacted billing support and was sent an excel spreadsheet detailing costs, replied explaining I hadn't set up services (detailing which) among other discrepancies, and have had no response in 4 days.

  • reloadsoftware Dave Roberts (@reloadsoftware) reported

Well, @azure, you've let yourselves down. Account hacked, support contacted, and I'm left with no support and a £4,500 bill. Thanks @AzureSupport!

  • kendaleiv Ken Dale (@kendaleiv) reported

Support for @Azure App Service Certificates and @Azure Front Door were added in this release!

  • ScottLee318 Lê Quang Khải (@ScottLee318) reported

@AzureSupport @Azure I'm looking for a way to deploy datadog agent to instrument and monitor the app service for container. But couldn't find a clean way 😞😞

  • Teskemj Michael Teske 🥩🥃 (@Teskemj) reported

@skatterbrainzz @FiveGuys yep! reboot of my first migration course. The @azure migrate service got a face lift. One stop shop now.

  • dattatrayhk Dattatray Kulkarni (@dattatrayhk) reported

@azure The links on this Building IoT Solutions with Azure: A Developer’s Guide page for "view reports" are broken.

  • sadeghpour_h Hamid Sadeghpour Saleh (@sadeghpour_h) reported

Today, organizations can sign up for a service from a cloud provider to get up and running. This enables them to begin selling or providing services to their customers more quickly, without the need for significant upfront costs. @Azure #cloudservices #microsoftazure #azure

  • jentrinanes Jen Triñanes (@jentrinanes) reported

Still at @cloudemployee @Azure Cognitive Service brownbag session. Doing a demo on image analysis. You don't have to become a data scientist to do this!

  • kellandamm Kellan Damm (@kellandamm) reported

@Lost_Signal @ExchangeGoddess @jcefidel Right! And even today if a customer wants to take advantage of @Azure hybrid benefit they need SA on datacenter or Standard licenses.

  • ScottLee318 Lê Quang Khải (@ScottLee318) reported

Too painful to deploy a production service using @Azure app service for container 😩😩

  • NeilCattermull Neil Cattermull (@NeilCattermull) reported

@mthiele10 @dcallahan2 @sarbjeetjohal @AndrewNebus @rwang0 @dvellante @furrier @Craw @tcrawford @Azure @awscloud @psalvitti @CTOAdvisor @digitalcloudgal @glfceo @MS1MN @matteastwood @zehicle @dhinchcliffe @TheCloudand_Me @ShailKhiyara @mdkail The lines between edge and cloud are blurred and will be more progressively so in the future. I believe we will see a slow merge of platforms to the app later, to the edge later etc. Integrated is where it’s at! But not without problems on the way

  • floatingGrounds Mike (@floatingGrounds) reported

@Bforgey_Roeing @Azure most IT service providers don't care about preventing it. You can prevent it. It takes some configuration and some explaining.

  • villanueva_lil Liliana Villanueva (@villanueva_lil) reported from San Francisco, California

Oracle’s partnership with @Azure includes low-latency interconnect to run middle tier apps and other mission critical workloads with no disruption, full ksplice support, and joint cooperation in the Linux pre-embargo security group @OracleLinux #OOW19

  • sarbjeetjohal Sarbjeet Johal (@sarbjeetjohal) reported from San Francisco, California

@tcrawford @matteastwood @AndrewNebus @rwang0 @dvellante @furrier @Craw @Azure @awscloud @psalvitti @mthiele10 @CTOAdvisor @digitalcloudgal @glfceo @MS1MN @zehicle @dhinchcliffe @TheCloudand_Me @SumoLogic @IDC I agree! It depends on how questions were formed. 48% said they never deployed production systems in cloud, they might have built it there... (deploy sounds more like migration of exiting production workloads)! So many other factors in surveys like IT vs LOB etc.

  • CTOAdvisor Keith Townsend #CTODose (@CTOAdvisor) reported

    @sarbjeetjohal @AndrewNebus @rwang0 @dvellante @furrier @Craw @tcrawford @Azure @awscloud @psalvitti @mthiele10 @digitalcloudgal @glfceo @MS1MN @matteastwood @zehicle @dhinchcliffe @TheCloudand_Me @NeilCattermull @ShailKhiyara @mdkail @dcallahan2 True until developers reach a scale where they are out of their depth. Then it becomes all the same infrastructure problems just in code.

  • EGSA_BossMan Jean van Jaarsveld (@EGSA_BossMan) reported

@KyleHypz @UbisoftSupport @PlayStation_ME @PlayStation_SA @PlayStationEU @Xbox @xboxuk @Azure @Microsoft Just trying to help man, all we can do is make enough noise and hope for the best

  • AmineCharot Amine Charot (@AmineCharot) reported

@bbNinja_ @Azure @AzureSupport I don't think that the service endpoint give a private connectivity the resolution of the dns stays public. Using the private link you should be able to assign a private adress so you won't need internet for the resolution but MS Backbone.

  • clemensv Clemens Vasters 🇪🇺☁📨 (@clemensv) reported

@aliostad @Azure Yes, we will under-charge if billing isn't working. It's effectively a nonessential dependency. Likewise, logging/monitoring errors are not causing transactions to fail. I think there are differentiated approaches to dependencies also in SaaS apps.

  • aliostad Ali (@aliostad) reported

@clemensv @Azure I would, at the risk of being naive, would say that there are differences in offering cloud PaaS and business domains, mainly: 1) I assume in PaaS, there is a core service (matter of life and death) and then monitoring and billing that can be lived without for a time.

  • b33rdy Kieron | @Libi feat. Lairytales | 🇪🇺 (@b33rdy) reported

@brendandburns @whosjluk @Azure I've been through it, double checked it all. Deleted it. Re-created the ingress. Same problem.

  • b33rdy Kieron | @Libi feat. Lairytales | 🇪🇺 (@b33rdy) reported

@brendandburns @whosjluk @Azure ctrl-z It's the routing config. Port forwarding is working. What's very strange is the nginx config is _so_ similar (excluding the DNS and service names) to my other clusters. I'll try deleting it all and re-adding them today.

  • stirno Brandon Stirnaman (@stirno) reported

@brendandburns @Azure Great news.. Though being the customer that reported issue 1204 its been a rough month for us + AKS.

  • brendandburns brendandburns (@brendandburns) reported

@b33rdy @whosjluk @Azure ok, well might be the Ingress config. I would try running kubectl port-forward and see if that works. If that works, then it's something in the Service/Nginx hook up.

  • brendandburns brendandburns (@brendandburns) reported

@b33rdy @whosjluk @Azure Often this means your app is listening on localhost (127.0.0.1) instead of all interfaces (0.0.0.0). localhost works w/ Docker port-forwarding, but not in k8s. But def. send links to github issues and we'll help debug.

  • whosjluk Justin Luk (@whosjluk) reported

@Pixel_Robots @brendandburns @Azure No automated option today, our existing ACS to AKS doc has some good pointers to doing a cluster migration but we’ve also got a doc to help on this situation coming out soon!

  • michaelkammes Michael Kammes (@michaelkammes) reported

    @videograndpa @Avid @Azure @MediaComposer @BeBopTechnology It's NEXIS to a VM in Azure. It's not down to my local machine.

  • phillipsj73 Jamie Phillips (@phillipsj73) reported

@MrTietz @epanting1 @Azure Oh I will be continuing to use Terraform. I enjoy it and it solves the problem well for me. There are times when TF doesn't support something and you have to leverage ARM templates to get it done.

  • abloostein Arielle Bloostein (@abloostein) reported

@Azure I am trying to report a bug but it is difficult to find how. My thoroughly tested app was doing great last I checked then suddenly it was having issues when connecting and writing to my database. Please report bug!

  • SirDan007 Sir Dan (@SirDan007) reported

Pay as use cloud compute models, are often better for startups but the fact that you do not know what you will pay for until after use makes budgeting complex, estimation tools never completely solved this issue. Cloud providers need to revisit this. @amazon @IBMcloud @Azure etc

  • egrigson Ed Grigson (@egrigson) reported

@brendandburns @OReillyMedia @Azure Not working for me either - 'error submitting request. Try again shortly'. Tried next day, still the same.

  • lietux Lietu (@lietux) reported

@AzureSupport @Azure I opened the ticket - though I may have solved the problem on my own afterwards: I think I had multiple builds without any actual change in the image contents, and they got flagged as duplicates or similar and thus deleted at the same time. Better build triggers might help here

  • thecloudxpert Christopher Lewis (@thecloudxpert) reported

So with @VMware @vRealizeAuto #Cloud I can create a standardised @Azure SQL server database using cloud native services AND publish the blueprint to a service catalog for others to consume. But, wait, I can also tag it, apply a lease policy and a naming policy...#TakeMyMoney

  • swoldanski Sebastian (@swoldanski) reported

@alexellisuk @kissgyorgy @openfaas @OpenFaaSCloud @Azure @GCPcloud @digitalocean I’ve tried @OpenFaaSCloud before and there was some missing functionality. I’ll try it again and let you know where is a problem 🤔

  • arwild01 Alan Wild (@arwild01) reported

    @HPC_Guru @ircolle @awscloud @Azure @OracleCloud @evanburness @mndoci @Karan_Batta I can’t help but be underwhelmed with a scaling test that maxes out at 1200 cores.

  • fossadvocate Rick Miskowski (@fossadvocate) reported

@Azure Skip the M$ hype. Read the hundreds of publicly available articles and papers on Neural Networks. Support public research

  • totollygeek todor:latest (@totollygeek) reported

@SrPowerShell @MrQinEL @Azure Very strangely, I was getting that error through the whole day yesterday, but today it works 🤔. One thing I have in mind is that every time I had that issue it was after I had just created the Web App for Containers and its plan. Now 24h after that it works.

  • hpcnotes Andrew Jones (@hpcnotes) reported

@einjen @HPC_Guru @ircolle @awscloud @Azure @OracleCloud @evanburness @mndoci @Karan_Batta In most cases not much staffing changes on migrating HPC to the cloud - still need people to plan, buy, sysadmin, support, document, etc. for the virtual HPC clusters built in the cloud - so most places end up with same number of people, albeit with some new skills.

  • jacobbuczynski2 Buc (@jacobbuczynski2) reported

@Azure FIX THE RAINBOW SIX SIEGE SERVERS ALREADY. BOOTERS JUST HIT THE SERVER EVERY GAME AND CRASH THE SERVER. IT IS A BIG PROBLEM IN RAINBOW SIX SIEGE.

  • omkardusane Omkar Narayan Dusane (@omkardusane) reported

Just found out how slow @azure VM's managed disks are as compared to @awscloud's EBS blocks. Compared High end offerings at both. Azure is always at-least 5 times slow. Surprised!

  • ng_suhas Suhas Parameshwara - Atomic Scope (@ng_suhas) reported

@jenkuntzGP @Azure Thanks. Even after purchasing the AAD Premium P1, I can't figure out how to enable MFA. And my Azure AAD admin login is different than my O365 login email, so if I am able to figure out MFA config, the next challenge will be how to enable MFA for my O365 login...

Got rejected by @Azure on a core limit increase request in the South Central US region today. Hoping this isn't a sign of things to come, this kind of breaks the whole cloud *service* model ..

@KevinHoffman @HashiCorp @Azure Yeah, totally agree. I think we have to simplify service mesh lot to attract developer adoption. However, similar to @kubernetesio , I really like the idea that such non-functional requirements are becoming part of the underlying PaaS/infrastructure.
