@iiNet hey guys any chance we can get some idea when your outage affecting email etc will be fixed

  • AEBayley ✳✳🕯🐀🐭🔥🐝🐝🌱🐞💧the enemy / cave dweller (@AEBayley) reported

@iinet has been down now for over 12 hours. Error notice has blame on WA weather patterns. WTH... has it melted the network? #iiNet #FAIL

  • uglyretard Joel josias (@uglyretard) reported

@iiNet last week, iinet engineer- " boss we have a problem, on Xmas it's forecasted to be 43c but our server room is only rated to handle max 40c" john- "you worry to much bro, nothing will go wrong, in fact everyone can have the day off!" Lol

  • Miketrike8 Mike trike (@Miketrike8) reported

@SilensMortalis @iiNet @AEBayley You are kidding me right? Email down for nearly 24h..i should be thankful i have internet. This is not the issue the issue is when i rang your customer support person located in the fking Caribbean i got no answer. Probably because there was a dog in the background barking

  • croydon_of Suburban Stocks (@croydon_of) reported

@iiNet @DewsMonique It's been down for 2 days. If one event in WA takes down all your webmail across Australia you should get out of this business.

  • cameronsloy Cameron Loy (@cameronsloy) reported

.@iiNet 24 hours the email servers are down in Victoria. Do you have an expected time to fix as yet?

  • StuartSMWalker Stuart (@StuartSMWalker) reported

@iiNet Thanks for the update John. However, given that I believe this has happened before, it sounds like it's high time to update the aircon/generators/insulation etc on this particular data centre (or even move to a new data centre?). Any hardware issues?

  • uglyretard Joel josias (@uglyretard) reported

@iiNet @radford1975 Wrong, my internet is also down. Extreme weather events implies something out of the ordinary, not just a hotter than usual day. There was no response yesterday when this happened. Does iinet just hope nothing goes wrong?

  • GeoffCohen3 GeoffCohen (@GeoffCohen3) reported

@iiNet @Boendy1 why is it nearly impossible to find out anything about this 24hour outage

  • StuartSMWalker Stuart (@StuartSMWalker) reported

@iiNet @iinet Oh, and even though email is down, perhaps you could recommend an alternate SMTP provider to use in the short term. This would be v useful for people to able to at least SEND an email to friends/clients stating the situation and maybe even providing g an alternate email.
